As a fan of anything mecha, I wish that there was an official instruction for an alternate build where the motorcycle parts were being used to upgrade the mech or have the base bike transform to form a weapon that can be used by the mech to begin with.
If they can make more sets like this, I could see the new limb pieces and price being justified, hopefully it continues and we don't just get more of the smaller builds.
At this point i don't even think they're doing mechs for the building experience, they're doing this because it's the inbetween constraction and system. Lego needs to update minifigs, they're too limiting, after watching Monkie Kid, i was sad to realize the figures for what they are.
Great example of a dumb but fun set. Quite possibly the best iteration of Ghost Rider's bike Lego has done, and like the inclusion of the classic technic motor to give the engine a more detailed look. Proportions are about for what Lego was going for here that being a Chopper. Not a fan of the simplified mechs, however TBF never liked the original designs that see to have carried over as far back as Nexo Knights. As far as the minifig not sure the head looks any different than the original looking though could be wrong. Other than a really solid bike build don't see much incentive in paying $45 for this one.
I do see some of the appeal of the mech+vehicle from a design perspective - The designers can build on a larger scale without it looking especially disproportionate.
Mech Ghost Rider -- a Lego set I did not realize existed till watching this video. I do wish the there would have been an optional mech-sized head. I don't care for the mini-fig scaled head on the mech body.
I'm the complete opposite of JANG. I wasn't impressed with this set at first, but seeing it in detail, I think it's a great set. The mech riding a bike is such a deliciously ludicrous concept and it's pulled off masterfully.
First Kai's mech bike and now this. I hope Lego comes out with a whole line of mech bikes since they are both good "dumb fun" toys and seems like they'd be roughly to scale with 1/12 scale figures for cross-toyline play.
still hoping for a minifig scaled chopper style ghost rider bike like this. the mech is good and all but i would still love this downsized to minifig scale
This thing is ridiculous but it's glorious! Way better than the Haslab Wheels of Vengeance. 🤣 Though I gotta say I am surprised LEGO made a Ghostrider set (don't know if this was the first one,) given how dark of a character he is.
Cute set. Personally, I'm only in it for the mini figure alone. The mech doesn't really resemble ghost rider, as it doesn't have defining features like his leather jacket or flames. The orange is nice, but doesn't add much. I'll wait for the discount and even if, only in it for Blaze himself.
I my country, most of the 2023 sets, I can get with 20-30% discount already (this for 24€). That is good, because everything is so overpriced these days.
Correction to the intro: This one was finished in a livestream on the old JANGBRiCKS channel just before we switched over to Twitch 😁
This is just unapologetically fun
This was definitely a way to get around the dilemma of complex bikes often being way too big for minifigure riders...
Imagine seeing this thing driving down the street with a flaming skull poking out the mech
Do you think a Mech Riding a Bike works better thin a Minifigure Riding Oversized Bike Proportionaly wise?
What I love about this set is that if you remove the mech it works as a really nice lego model of ghost riders motorbike

Love the figure! Would’ve been funny if the legs were printed with a tiny wallet chain to go with the rest of the larger chains! 😂

I just bought this set to turn it into Ransom Fern’s exo toa for gwp Tahu. The ghost rider minifig is pretty cool too

If I had a nickel for every time lego put a mech on a large bike, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
As they say in NBA JAM “ he’s on fire”
I saw this set at my local Wal-Mart... I didn't get it.
Profound

i want this set just for the parts; the finger pieces and other technic and grey/black pieces can be used in so many things, especially mechs
I think the goofy factor is fun
I wish it had a fold-out piece in the front to allow for sick wheelie poses, but hot dang this is one rad cycle!
Love how the exhaust is also the frame.. lol
Imagine this thing riding down the street, it would tower over a house 😂
Hmmmm this is the most Warhammer 40k thing I have seen Lego officially do hahaha I love it

ooh i like the looks of this set now that i'm getting a closer look. reminds me a LOT of the bionicle vehicle sets
I like to think that this is supposed to be a beefed up version of Ghost Rider, and the minifig body is just something extra
1st time I have a ghost rider minifigure

actually looks really nice missing some chains though if ti had some chains like around the front strut area it would have been a nice touch
creative way to justify the oversized vehicle, but also I kinda hate it 😂
Can buildable Groot ride this bike?
I really like the bike, shame there is no steering but it will do.

I'd propably be all over that set as a kid, but right now I'm just buying the mini from it, especially considering how good the rest ot the wave is
LEGO really taking their oversized motorcycle thing with these new mech motorcycles eh?
Ghost Rider in a mech while at the same time riding a giant motorcycle…..
… Excessive? Yeah.
But cool? Undeniably.
mechs riding motorcycles seems to be Legos thing this year. Between this and the one Ninjago set someone at Lego approves,
Look so cool at first impression but it's pretty weak in execution very clunky ib the way it sits in the bike and holds on

This set looks so weird.
It just seems really simple for $35. The exposed arm/leg pierces are just not appealing. Seems like the “bulk” is there without much going on.
The Mech itself looks 4+ (A bit)
No steering? Wheelie. Everywhere. All the time.
Good but not good
Marvel mechs are very meh in my opinion. Not for me. But they do look better than they used to.
