    Near 4:15min mark when you’re removing your headlight. You’re doing it correctly obviously. But if you wanted to loosen or tighten that bottom one. Push down on the black part of the headlight bumper channel with a micro fiber towel and push it underneath the headlight. So when you’re tightening or loosening you don’t scrape up the black satin black paint. When you push down the screws should be visible. It also just depends on how flexible your bumper is. May potentially crack the paint on the older non repainted ones due to age. That’s what I’ve done in the past to get that bottom one tight.

    I need them to make those vented turn signals for 85+ sport coupes. I'd love to have them for my 86.

    Just curious, how much horsepower are you pushing with the 6.2 supercharged and what kind of things you had to do to the suspension etc

    hear me out is this cool idea. i wanna put them mad max interceptor light covers on my 86 camaro. the ones with gold bars cross it.
    i wanted just but the clear covers and go from tht buuut they like 80 bux ? thts steep for plastic .
    so im think just gettin plexi glass and makin it diy.
    would that be rad or nay ?

    They're pretty cool. Can you get the signal lights alone? Maybe I missed that if you mentioned it.
    I already have JW Speaker 8800 Evo2 black bezel headlights .The same ones truckers use on their Kenworths and Peterbuilts.

    Hey… looking at reliving my HS days as life starts winding down for this old man. Do you consider 1989’s as “easy” to work on? By that, someone with general garage experience can repair most things. Thanks

    • @FireballMullet
      @FireballMullet  10 месяцев назад

      Yeah I think they are for the most part. That’s one of the reasons I got a 3rd gen

    I have a 1989 RS waiting for me to start bringing back to life. I’m not worried about speed but wanted to leave my son a nice collectible when I die. Do you think RS is okay for that or should I take the hit & get a Z28 to maximize what he will get for it down the road? Thanks

    • @FireballMullet
      @FireballMullet  10 месяцев назад

      Z28 will definitely be a higher return for what you out in it. Find a nice 305 car would be fine imo. RS is cool, they are all cool street machines that can be made to a nice cruise with not a lot.

    • @ZombieCat2025
      @ZombieCat2025 10 месяцев назад

      Thanks, I’ve been checking out Z28’s and definitely going that route. They sell instantly if decent price so hoping to get a little luck on one. The price & popularity of 3ed gens has gone thru the roof
