That cool middle eastern sounding thing is some kind of whistle or wind instrument that Maynard is blowing on. Love this sound and the lyrics are fucking profound.
Do yourself a favor, and when you have the time and you're not on the youtube clock, turn off the lights and turn up the volume then listen to the whole triptych, Disposition-Reflection-Triad. Its a timeless masterpiece.

Dude, the growl of Justin's bass is something else. As a 20 year plus fan I love and relate to this song more and more. The entire triplet of Disposition-Reflection-Triad is the magnificent conclusion (the last track is totally it’s own thing) of what I personally consider the greatest album ever made.
And this is why Tool will blow up your channel. I never tire of watching young people discover what I've known for thirty-odd years. Maynard's voice is otherworldly.
One of Tools greatest songs. So majestic and absolutely beautiful. Fortunate enough to have heard it live during the Lateralus tour. My goodness there is nothing like it live. Nothing. Also you listened to just Reflection which is a no no 😂😂 Disposition, Reflection than Triad. It's one song just broken up into three. The Holy Trinity is sacred dude 🌀🌀🌀
Yes the triad. If you listen to disposition, reflections and then triad. They all go together. Triad is the climax you might be looking for.

See reflection is a pretty good stand alone song and can be easily listened to by itself - but realistically you're not gonna listen to Disposition or Triad just by itself

you owe it to yourself to listen to the entire song. Disposition-Reflection-Triad. it was written as a single song and broken up for length issues. This entire song is my fav TOOL piece still to this day. Great review!!!

This is Tool. Until this day this song is far one of my favorites. My feelings toward it have only gotten stronger throughout the years. I even have that album in its CD version. Timeless masterpiece.

So, initially Tool wrote a 20+ minute song that comprised of 'Disposition/Reflection/Triad" - fans refer to it as the "Holy Trinity". It was later indexed down into 3 tracks for the album's release, but for the full experience fans like to experience them all together.
This song is part of a 3 part set... The middle actually.. listen to disposition reflection and triad all together nicknamed the holy trinity
You can see why some are intimidated and some are so intrigued by them. What I've learned is, if you're patient with them you'll be rewarded like no other music ever will and you will know this it.
This is definitely one of my favorites from Tool
Disposition/Reflection/Triad together....TOOL has many songs that are intended to be played together. It's worth Googling before you do ANY TOOL song. Great video tho.

I think you need to do a reaction of the Holy Trinity including redoing Reflection. I have never a reactor to do a reaction over again, but it’s worth it. Plus, I would love to hear your thoughts with Reflection again with all 3 tracks together. 🤘🏻🌀

Best songs in my opinion, Lateralus on that album then Parabola, the Trio of disposition, reflection, and Triad is up there with the patient, schism, grudge. Tick and leeches is more in your face old school tool track but also good one. Overall Lateralus is Tools second or best album, it’s almost tied with Aenima in my opinion
