Thank you for visiting Malaysia and thank you for your kind words. If you have the chance to return to Malaysia maybe you can visit Penang, Kelantan or Terengganu.
Yes the best durian is in Malaysia and Thailand second. In Australia a durian costs $40 and in Seoul Korea I saw the Lotte Supermarket selling them for $60 or more!
Hey just wanna tell you that i like your video concept. No clickbait, no instigating, just pure, honest & lighthearted commentary with a little dash of humour. Keep it up and looking forward for more videos 👌😊
Hi Sly, good video. I was puzzled by the KL's pronunciation at the very beginning. As a foreigner and a RUclipsr as well, I'd be happy to grab you a coffee and talk. BTW, durian is the best here in Malaysia over the world. I believe :)
I also got many things no one told me about KL though I am also Malaysian, and that's why I watch this video, uploaded by a very experienced tour vlogger.
Man, Sly, you been out there in the world a LONG time. I remember your Panama days, and now I see you're in Japan after this Malaysia adventure. Thanks for staying out there on the road and bring the world closer. Congrats on the quality of the footage too, everything looks as sharp as a razor.
I heard they gonna preserve Kampung Baru. But time will tell, it's a talked about topic for the past decade. Petaling Street should be called as such, locals don't call this Chinatown.
You should try to eat ramly burger which is very popular in Malaysia and youtubers all over the world come to Malaysia to try this ramly burger. You like durian so much, you can try eating ikan patin cooked in tempoyak (durian fermentation).
There is a lot of diabetes and obesity in Malaysia because of the use of sugar in most of the food, wether it's in woks, curry's, drinks, sugar is widely used and often in big quantities.
Man fantastic video! From 1990 - 2000 i spent sailing the seas in the US Navy and i will never forget the beautiful ladies of Malaysia and The Middle East. But with all that said Heck No! to Durian 😹😹😹
durian used to be cheap. then they started to develop musang king and try to market it in China, but no one's buying. so they figured, because in China if you buy expensive things, you're rich, they amped up the prices. people in China started buying a lot of musang kings just to show off to their neighbours. that's why the clone durians are so expensive, aside from the amount of research done to produce them. kampung durians are still very affordable, in fact very cheap when in season.
Malaysia is always underated country bro well its ok .We prefer that way tho.XO varity has the bitterness but I like *udang merah* / red prawn 😅. we are proud of our food tho their are *no michelin* award. For nasi lemak as a local I prefer Kak Yah nasi lemak..more Anthentic.Make sure u get there.Next time drop by when Ramadan that is our fasting month .You must lost your weight b4 coming 😅.
Malaysian is not same as Malay. Everyone living there is Malaysian but Malays are the original local people who are muslim. Then you have other original people (orang asli) that are part of tribes etc (seems to be more confined to East Malaysia). These people are not muslim. Lastly other groups like Indians, Chinese etc. They are Malaysians but not Malays.
😂 lol at thick msian ladies ...yup most malaysians are on the bigger side because of all the food. We are currently number 1 in southeast asia with highest obesity rate followed by Brunei & Thailand. Vietnam is the slimmest in SEA

Durian quality varies a lot by season, type and where it was grown. I can confirm what you said. The best durian is in Malaysia.
Your opinion is not entirely correct. I can assure you that the best quality Durian, Rambutan and Marijuana come from Aceh.
@@KADRUN-PRIBUMI well, it's the best that I've had the pleasure of experiencing.

Kuala Lumpur is a fun city, been there a few times. Took the bus from Singapore in February. Have never tried durian though.
