Great episode! Since his passing this weekend, Roger Corman has been on the brain, and I watched Deathrace 20000 for the first time last night and loved it. Seems on brand for Slime House and with that my character pick would be the Frankenstein Racer from the movie. If that is too niche however, I’ll vote for a full line of Total Recal toys in your style. Bug-eyed Arnold, Kuato, mutants, Ironside, a whole line.

Dude, you killed that ROM sculpt! Metalhead from TMNT was one of my favorites because of the light-piping and vac-metal. It'd be cool to see if you could add similar features like that to ROM down the line. As for what I'd love to see your take on next, anyone from Big Trouble in Little China. There are so many unique characters/creatures to choose from. Love the videos and so glad I found your channel. Love watching you realize your dream of making toys.

Maaaan... when thinking about that Playmates style, it's hard to put one idea together, but I'm thinking like all the 80s and 90s greats, like a Busted Robocop, Snake Plisken in a Casey Jones style, and Ash from Evil Dead in Playmates style would be cool, too! Then Roger Corman just passed, so anything from that! Either way keep kicking ass, watching form El Paso Texas!

Seems things are good and going well, happy to see that things are going fine for someone, everything is moving forward.
An interesting version and take on ROM, not sure what color i like the most on him, both are nice and works. It would be cool seeing you do the Double Dragon characters or both of the robots from Probotector ( our version of Contra where they made the characters robots, but i think you know that :) )
Keep on moving forward and never give up, do what you can while you can.

My ideal playmates toy would be a mighty max 🫶🏻 as a kid I was obsessed with mighty max and I always wished they made a bigger figure version of him. He could have some cool accessories (catapult and pet iguana) and his cap on a rotating joint. The box art could be a portal behind him.
I could go on 😅 I have wanted this figure for the past 30 years 😂

fantastic figure! love how you have embraced both the parker bros and the playmates aesthetic. my dream playmates figure recreation would be THE MAXX, the old Sam Kieth character from the image comics series and the MTV cartoon. I have the old mcfarlane figure of the character but Inwould love to see a playmates interpretation - the little isz sprites from the comic would be perfect little pack-ins like other tmnt sidekicks.

honestly i think it's cool this channel is taking obscure characters and movies making action figures of them. i honestly think any character from small soldiers made from slime house would be cool maybe like troglokhan would be made into a figure but since he get's ripped apart by the commando elite the pegs would be wires and you can just pull him apart like that one c3-po figure that kenner did or possibly balsac from the shock rock band gwar would also be a cool figure

Great update mate, the hobby space is looking great. I recently just upgraded to a Mars 4 Ultra (don't really have room for a Saturn) but Elegoo do great printers. I hope you one day have a library of STL's you could sell as I think we would love to all have a go at a ROM or one of the others. All the best.

Your channel is without a doubt one of my favs to watch, with your deep dive on ZBots being one of my fav videos (i have a history with ZBots that goes back to their creation!). As far as character creation it would be amazing to see Bolo from the now practically erased animated series Final Space. Seeing him in playmates form would not only be fire but a perfect way to honor a show that won't ever be able to officially produce anymore toys. Cheers from Omaha, Nebraska!!

I'd like to see something cool from the vintage Micronauts line. Maybe a Baron Karza in regular or even Centaur mode. Or maybe Bug from the Micronauts Comics. He may translate well to a Playmates style. The ROM looks amazing though, sir! I would love to get my hands on one, to win or buy.

I mostly watch RUclips on my TV, so I don't often comment. I've been watching Slime House for about 6 months or so. Rom is by far my favorite thing you've done so far.
What else would be cool in the Slime House/Playmates style? Keeping it contemporary, my 1st thought was Micronauts, specifically Antron - he would be fire in the Playmates style. And yes, I know Antrax isn't all that far off, but I still think it would be a cool project.
BUT!, My final answer Clawtron from Fisher Price Adventure People, that's a series just begging for a modern interpretation aimed at collectors.

Ha it's something I had lying around for years that I never got round to finishing, it started out as a commission, I was tasked with doing a few different ones but then the client said that I could keep it so it just stayed the way it is all this time 😅
