Well, you got your wish. He doesn't die.
Instead he got treated like pretty much any other US. army veteran... I did laugh the first time, but after it sunk in you know, it really sucks how many families go down a similar path as that couple.
Turkeys do fly, just not long or too high. But they roost in trees. Domestic ones are designed with breasts too big to fly or mate mostly.
This is the first episode in this season where we see Rick's Portal Gun. When this season was aired originally, there were some crazy theories about it being missing
Which is ironic, because the very next season Rick lost his ability to portal
"What the f&%$?! They are all pregnant?!" That's the action movie formula for ya! 😆😆
There's always a heroic man answering to the call of duty with a pregnant wife and/or child they wish to connect better with waiting at home.
Can they return home to their families, or are them fated to perish to save the nation, maybe the world, and become a martyr their children can be proud of?

I'm with you 100% on the pumpkin pie, and there's actually people out there that'll try to make you feel bad/weird about liking it too... we don't have time for those people anyway.
i don't like pumpkin pie, but sure as hell i ain't telling someone they are weird because they like it, that just makes me sound like an asshole
Most people won't judge what someone else eats. People who are prone to judgemental streaks are usually projecting attention away from themselves, trying to feel better about something that shames them internally. If someone give you shit about liking Pumpkin Pie, or Hawaiian Pizza, or Mud Bugs, or Fruit Cake... just ask yourself, what secret shame is gnawing away at them on the inside? What are they so afraid of?
I don't know, maybe I'm just being overly vocal about my love for pumpkin pie and Hawaiian pizza... Maybe THEY are right, I am weird, not weird for loving things, but HOW I love them.
And ooohoooo man, I LOVE pumpkin pie.
Pumpkin pie for me has to be cold if it is warm I very much hate it but if it is cold I will eat it every day

Anyone remember that one movie ("Help! I'm a fish") where a bunch of kids turn into fish and one of the fish drinks a "human potion" meant for the kids which turns it into an intelligent fish which later drinks more of the potion and turns into a fully fleshed human-fish hybrid? Yeah. that's what this episode reminded me of (at least with the president)

I felt the same way at the end when I first saw this episode and now I'm just thinking "Awe, it bummed out the Rat Queen."
I figured he was having a PTSD episode, never thought of it as him going full turkey brain.
Good on you for getting that RAID cheddar btw ! And i like pies , but i'm more into the salted ones with meats , even if fruit pies are great . I'd also pick a pumpkin pie over an apple one
Pie is great, personally I love pretty much any fruit pie, and the reason you go with cranberry pie instead of just cranberry sauce is because the crust is a delicious texture and flavor compliment to the filling.

The TV isn’t on during dinner. The Wizard of Oz is on during Thanksgiving Dinner. There’s a big difference. Historically, The Wizard of Oz has been one of the biggest entries in Appointment Television. It always plays on (US) Thanksgiving, so it became part of the tradition. TWOO, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade are just required viewing on Thanksgiving.
As to why specifically The Wizard of Oz became a Thanksgiving movie, it was a popular movie and Thanksgiving is one of the holidays where everyone gathers with family, so networks decided to play it then every year. (Also apparently on Easter, which… I dunno… playing a movie about a girl going to a magical land with witches and wizards on the day you’re supposed to be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ seems a bit blasphemous).
Pretty sure turkey's can fly, or do the same thing as chickens and get airborne for basically a super jump and glide.

I really like pumpkin pies. I used to bake "pumpkin meringue pie" or "pumpkin crème brulée" (just a pumpkin pie topped with a layer of hardened caramelized brown sugar)

I love chocolate cream pie that's what I used to have as my birthday cake the mccain ones but they stopped making them don't know way, you can still buy like double chocolate ones but there not the ones I like, the ones I liked came in a red box and the crust was more bread colour rather then new chocolate looking crusts its just not the same for me.
