You do an excellent job, and we so appreciate the content, I used to own a 100 acre organic farm in Vermont which I purchased after grad school, this land had never been farmed, we serviced restaurants, and we had CSA's before there was the CNA. I kept the farm ten years till my husband left, (Which Was A Good Thing) and I sold the farm for five times what I paid for it because organic farms were scarce and I bought a house in Ct. and stayed home with my kids while I dreamed up something else to do.
Hoping that all viewers are sharing the young man's channel on their social media platforms. I'm of the opinion that Logan has been doing a great job and is being very consistent with making sure that the channel has very good content on the type of hard work that is required running a successful market farm business. So everyone please show some appreciation by hitting the like icon and also sharing the videos. Thanks 🙏
You can post as many videos as you want and I will be HAPPY to watch them. Those Tomatoes - YUMMY but I still like to see those peppers being picked, esp the Big Bell Peppers. I hope you guy took Labor Day off to rest and enjoy some of your YUMMY produce. I got some corn and it was supposed to be from New Jersey but it lacked any flavor or sweetness I thew the few I had left away. Looks like you guys are going to get some much needed rain and we need rain here too. Always enjoy seeing you guys pick veggies and at the Farmers Market. Tell Ben I like his hat.
I was there at the market on Friday looking for some sugar baby watermelons and Ben said the next crop is coming up. Do you think it will be this week? I had one a few weeks ago and it was the sweetest watermelon I ever had. All your stuff looks and tastes great.
Loved the farmers market. It looked exciting with all the activity. You guys always make everything look so appealing. Great job on that. Was that on Friday???? That’s one day I’m glad you didn’t get rain. Have you gotten any rain on the farm lately?? I been praying for it for you. Great to see the beautiful awesome Sammi as always. LOGAN YOU ARE AN AMAZING HARD WORKING YOUNG MAN!!!!!! God bless you always.
I don't know about others, but I liked the frenzy feeling to this with the ff movement on it. Nice. I'm new here, and I would prefer more explanations to canned music - or at least ambient sounds. For example, I like to hear the produce being picked or plucked, or cut, and the sounds of people talking in the market. I'm also curious about everything - like what time you get there, how far away is the market, etc. But then maybe you've already said that...I'll try to catch up. Good work - love harvest videos. So much work, but they look amazing.
Beautiful crop of tomatoes! Hope the rest don't go to waste. Your spuds look great too. Here in NZ our spuds have really gone down in quality over the years. I think all the good ones get exported and we get left with the 2nds. They don't get washed and are misshapen and small. Its really great to see a family farm still operating and still pumping out good quality veges.
Content great. Vyou have beautiful tomato plants and so full. All your produce looks excellent!! I live in Northern Indiana, too far to shop there. How often are you at the Farmers Market.
Hey Logan......... WOW awesome video today. Showed up on my recommended, so I decided to check it out. So glad I did. Loved the video, so I checked out your channel and it's looks amazing. Got yourself a new subscriber now, and............ Looks like I got quite a few videos to catch up on. Grew up in Missouri, love farms and gardens. And at I think I saw 150 acres......... That's one good size garden. :)
Great video as always. Love watching y'all at the farmers market. Looked like y'all did a good amount of business that day. I'm glade for y'all. It's great to know that even with the drought y'all still producing nice produce. It was a delight seeing you Sammie and your dad out picking the tomatoes and can't forget Ben helping to load them. Y'all keep up the good work stay safe be careful and God bless each one of y'all.
Very motivational. Our best day in a 4 1/2 market is 2 bin sweet corn, 2 canteloupe, 2 watermelon, and about 40 of your tomato baskets. Overall about 9 pallets when adding in cuc, zuch, pepper, etc . The lift gate gets a good workout. We don't have kale or broccoli during that time. Peppers 0 yielded along with tomatoes this year with an extremely hot front end of the season.
Hey Logan your set up looks amazing! You have a good variety and I enjoyed the content. Most all farmers here in Texas did not get a good crop with the drought. Looks like you had a great tomato harvest. Did you produce the same amount in the high tunnel?
Oh I bet this drought was serious this year! We got lucky for the time we started irrigating. We have more tomatoes out in the field but we sure did get a good crop from the high tunnels also. Thanks for watching Mike 😃
What's the best day to come to your farm market? I've been to the Ochs's twice and your about 20 miles closer than they are. I think you're closed on Sunday and Monday.
Hello from the UK! I noticed in your videos that a lot of your customers are paying by cash. Here a lot of market / food vendors are carrying a portable contactless card reader. That way they are not losing out by the amount of cash that is left in people's pocket. Sure, you will be paying a fee. But if this increases your revenue, this won't be a lose-lose situation Xx
Just want to say sorry I haven't been watching anyone videos because I am going thru cancer and I hope you understand I really enjoy watching your video when I can again sorry please pray for me Rosa
Food prices n Covid, people are freezing n canning like crazy. Humming markek scene. Like to see those big sales. Grandpa was swamped, that's a good thing. To increase productivity output with less work load hours, do all u can do to switch the high vslue crops to under bio plastic in the best field locations on drip irrigation. Will save many hours seeding, transplanting tilling, weeding less productive ground. Will increase crops irrigated by drip 4X n save expensive water. Dig out n expand raise the pond dam with an expert hydrological engineer. Plant ur sweet corn in 2 or 3 spaced rows covered by clear bio plastic n drip irrigation, plastic sun heating will bring on corn sprouting. Plant short season varieties for first crop Will beat others to early market n much higher prices. We had cold wet into June. Early season crop brought $1 ear. Never got below 2/$. People were hungry for local non shipped sweet corn. Plant less, reliable water source n pump drip irrigation under on your best soil will grow more thru the whole season, bumper crops on less land. More than u can harvest with available labor. Less wear n tear on equipment n bodies. Turn the rocky poor soil into cattle grazing n cattle feed production. Beef will always be in deman n short supply Inflation effects on food prices n tight budgets will be even worse next year Beautiful tomato crop u r picking
Beautiful sharing lovely filming captured great job guys Merci
