What the heck was that? Like I think my expectations were too high. I thought we were going to see a castle party and it was like a 2-minute show... did anything else happen? I 100% adore Disney but... um I wish there was more fun to go with the hype. I know they just open the doors and it is day one, but... I was hyped up! Kyle you are amazing! Great work on your part! I can't wait to see more of what the 50th has in store.

I’m actually glad the morning was a disappoint for the adults. All those grown people running like they’re butts were on fire! Thank God there hardly weren’t any kids there. They would of been trampled! Yes DisneyWorld is meant for everyone to enjoy but cmon you know if it wasn’t for social media half of those people wouldn’t of even been there.

This is your best posting; your enthusiasm is so infectious! I love the pre-dawn excitement and particularly the bakers and confectioneers who left their jobs for awhile to line up on Main Street and greet the first guests arriving for the 50th celebration. What a wonderful reception!
It's crazy to me to see grown adults charge the stage like that. 11:21 is pretty sad with everyone having their phone out. Just enjoy the show. There is only going to be 15k videos on line.

It was pretty disappointing to see so many of the biggest fans justt disregard the CMs instructions for trying to keep everyone safe. (And so many phones. Waste of effort and I couldn't see Minnie) I bet if there were a bunch of actual toddlers there instead of grown adults, they would have behaved better than that.

It's crazy for me to see that many people elbow to elbow with Covid out there. I'm not a mandate person or think everyone should wear masks or get a vaccine. It should be your choice but that was just ignorant.

We went to Hollywood, and Animal Kingdom. Everything was basically a walk on in both parks.
And it was wonderful

Just the fact that people are literally settling for this lackluster experience is so sad. People really need to expect better from a Disney celebration theme park experience. I’m not sure what people expected but I could see this coming. I equate it to how everyone shows up on Christmas Day thinking there will be something special like a LIVE parade broadcast or some kind of special something. They then find out that everything is the same as any other day between Nov 1 and Christmas Day😂. I am proud to have been part of Epcot Guest Relations and VIP Tours during the 25TH Anniversary. If memory serves they had a presentation in front of the castle but I feel like it was taped for later. I also remember a genuine excitement in the air and we were all trained to create magical moments. Disney had the Welcome Center specifically there to welcome guests and share in the history of the most magical place on Earth. There was also a preview of things to come which always excites Guests. It was a different time for sure. That all said, I do feel the lack of heart and soul in this celebration is unfortunate and I understand those who felt let down. When you know better you do better but that doesn’t appear to be the case right now.
For real if it was Disneyland they would’ve went all out giving away free cupcakes and mentioning the anniversary every chance they could get

@David Brickell same here. When I saw that crowd so close together, I cringe. I was just down there last week. Wore the mask pretty much my whole time in any populated area. I just attended a wake for a friend and co- worker who got it in Disney in August.

This was great, thank you! The opening show was so sweet and makes me miss WDW so much. Though those crowds are making me anxious, way too many people and too close together. Even pre-pandemic I never liked being that close to other people.

We can't wait to meet up with you Kyle Pallo and looking forward to being home at Walt Disney World and kick off the BIG HUGE Milestone of 50 years.
