  • The Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk is 15 minutes from Walpole, Western Australia. It takes around four and half hours to drive from Perth). Take in some of the biggest trees on Earth. The towering grand tingle trees are found nowhere else on earth, with some of the trees being more than 400 years old.
The Tree Top walk gives you a birds eye view from the forest canopy 40 meters up.. Situated in the Walpole-Nornalup National Park, you will see spectacular views across the densely forest countryside. After walking the suspended walkways through the forest canopy we descend to the forest floor to explore the Ancient Empire Walk. Walking through the grove of tingle trees that tower above is both tranquil and relaxing. Some trees big enough to walk right through the burnt out centre of the trunks. Highly recommend a visit by all.

The beauty of our bush never ceases to amaze me, the colours and magnificence, I felt rushed though at some stages it seemed a blurr, I wanted to take it slower and drink it all in, so I slower it down to .05x and could focus more and enjoy it fully. Thank you ♥️🇦🇺

Oh cool, thank you so much Cbsisme, I couldn’t agree with you more.. The bush and our natural forests are just amazing! Great idea to slow down some of the video.. I should’ve done a complete walk though without cutting bits out. You would have liked that. Thank you for your comments I really appreciate it. ❤️👋😀

The rain makes every thing look so vibrant! What a kaleidoscope of colours! The brightest of pinks and oranges against the back drop of multiple shades of green absolutely amazing! Still seems very strange to see you get rain in Australia, heavy rain! But my doesn't it show mother nature at her very best! As always Grant you show us the wonders that are Australia.❤️
Here in UK we are stuck in a merry go round of sunshine and showers, unfortunately the showers are more frequent than the sunshine! It has effected the tennis at Wimbledon, they are playing catch up for all the doubles matches. Think Barty could have a tough match against Kerber today!
    Take care, stay safe❤️

OMG.. Rosemary the rain really did make the how adventure fun and more enchanting.. (at first I was really annoyed that it was raining when we got to the forest, who’d have through that the rain would add to the whole experience). I had been wanting to do the Tree Top Walk for a long time.. I hadn’t been down that way for years and it was before they build the incredible walk.. I’m not sure if the video shows just how HUGE the trees are.. some over 400 years old! We are having weather like you in the UK at the moment. We had a sunny day today.. but some showers. And we are having a week of really heavy rain believe it or not.. Why does it always have to rain on the tennis? Weekend is almost here, hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable one with lots of sunshine! Stay safe. 😀❤️

Omg Shirley. You are so right about the rain.. at first I was really annoyed that it was raining and thought it would spoil the adventure. However, the rain actually added to the whole experience.. Walking under the green umbrellas they gave up to walk with made it even more beautiful and enchanting. Especially when enjoying the Ancient Empire walk on the forest floor.

Shirley, the trees were so amazing.. and such different perspectives when you walked the Tree Top Walk and then did the Ancient Empire Walk at the base of the trees.. Not sure if the video actually shows just how big these trees are. Apart from being able to walk though many of the trees burnt out trucks (they were still alive and growing). There was one tree that was big enough to fit a car inside the truck.. just massive.. and seeing the trees that had fallen across the forest floor just made you realise just how dam tall they were. Highly recommend a visit. 😃

It is a bit like that isn’t it.. An incredible walk with the way the bridges/walkways are all see through and sway in the breeze… 🤣 I think they did a awesome job of the walkway. The Forrest is so beautiful both from the top and at the base of the Forrest.

Hi Amy, thank you so much for your awesome comments. I so appreciate it. OMG, until you have been there and walked the treetops it is very hard to grasp just how high up it is isn’t it? It’s incredible just how big, tall and old the trees are in the Southern Forests. Hopefully your son might get to experience it for himself one day. It’s such a great place to visit. I’d love to go back and explore more in the future.

    • @GrantMenner

Hi B. No the Valley of the Giants and tree top walk is down near Walpole down south. its about a 5 hour drive from Perth. There is a lot to see no do along the drive. Kings Park in Perth has a smaller tree top walk that is easier to get too, but Valley of the Giants is net level big trees! And they are 100s of years old.

@@user-yy4pv7uc6g there is a lot of beach’s and sands around Perth.. but you don’t have to go too far to see bush, forests and big trees.. This is the tree rope walk at Kings Park which overlooks Perth City. ruclips.net/video/U7BlqshbE90/видео.html
