I've seen that before on Amazon but didn't pay much attention. It's better than I thought. I know it's a long shot but if you ever come across a durable and effective system that filters more than "bugs" and doesn't cost a small fortune, please bring it to our attention. If I see it first I'll bring it to yours. I truly believe that filtering water efficiently is the toughest challenge a prepper has. It's frustrating.
Thank you for your informative video. Buying this tomorrow. The world’s a lot crazier now. One of my concerns is possibly having to get water a little ways from the house and not get attacked from some one who is desperate if things get really bad.
I just bought one of these using your Amazon link to help you out. I really enjoy your videos, especially this one. Keep doing what you do and stay healthy.
Great video. I have been using a Sawyer Squeeze to filter my well water( we live next to a swamp/wetland). I like this a lot but the hose is much to long to replace my sawyer.
GREAT review. I was surprised at what you said the price was that's not bad doesn't a personal filter normal run 15-20 so one this size for family isn't bad at all
Thx for the vid. If I need bulk water, I'll do something simpler, through sand and b o i l it. A singular, personal straw is so I don't have to stop but to fill a rubber bottle.
Hello, thank you for your video, it has helped me a lot with the use of my filter. But I have a question: How do you know that the filter has reached the end of its useful life?
I have loads of videos on my bug out bags, I need to do an update because they have changed a bit over time but if you look back and search for bug out bag on my profile page you will find old ones I did 3 years ago as well as newer ones I have done recently. :)
Iridium242. An updated video would be great. Over the last 3 months I have added and taken out items. I’m a truck driver and do a 7 hour run every day. For years I did a drive that took 9plus hours. now I’m going to new place. I have noticed that where I’m driving to now is more flat, way less trees, very few ponds along the way and more. That has changed what I think I need to get home. For example driving from tulsa to KC Missouri vs. Wichita is a big difference.
@@jeremyb66 The most recent one I did was back in Aug, and this is my smaller bug out bag (I tend to end up with a lot of gear so I have multiple bags for multiple scenarios lol) this is it here ruclips.net/video/lICMiqy7Eg8/видео.html My larger one I have not done a vid on in ages, so I will have to do a new one soon!
I put a large coffee filter in the prefilter to manage debris. Thx for the vid!
Thanks for the review.
I just bought a Sawyer mini for bug out preps.
I may buy this for the house preps.

In the instructions you have to close the red, while you squeeze.

Drain if stored where temp is close to or below freezing. Many swimming pools nearby. Lots of water.

Once it runs very very slow you know you need to replace the filter
