We were buying a new house so I had thought induction would be the healthiest option as we are retired and wanted something safe to use and easy to learn. We bought a Rosewell single induction unit to be able to see if it was going to be something I’d like and was very well pleased. Much better than gas. I loaned my daughter-in-law this Rosewell unit when we got our Frigidaire Induction Range and she liked the small unit so much that I got her a Duxtop single burner so I could have my Rosewell unit back. Still use it, I prefer to use this for my wok, which I have a flat bottom carbon steel wok and it works out very well as the unit has temperature controls also and for wok cooking, the precision is very good.
If one gets an induction range, you’ll need 220 volt outlet for a range with 50 amp, the wiring has to be able to carry that load too, a plug which is the same as your new range and a 50 amp dedicated circuit breaker.
The controls on my range is on the back so it is safer for our young grand children.
I got my induction range 5 years ago, unlike gas, it still looks BRAND NEW! I do a lot of cooking daily and clean up is a breeze.

I have a black electric stove. It takes longer to clean it than cook. I picked up the same induction one and LOVE IT. Quick and easy cleaning

I like that he didn’t do the water boiling test because everyone does the water boiling test same as doing the egg test in a non stick pan . It’s nice that he changed it up.I ordered one from Amazon and it’s arriving today, I did have to buy a new pot and pan because my current set wasn’t compatible. I’m looking forward to using it, I had a portable electric stove but I want to use induction.

I use that one with a cast iron skillet. The results are amazing with hamburgers.

You are correct, cast iron works well on a induction cook top; but be careful to warm your pan up before you turn on the cook top full blast. I put a cold cast iron pizza pan on mine at full temp setting and it cracked the pan. The pan literally exploded. Thanks for watching and your comment. Enjoy the hamburgers.

Anna, Our is still going strong and we use it almost everyday. Absolutely the best way to cook; fast with maximum control of the heat. Be careful if you cook with caste Iron. Don't used metal utensils with caste iron, mine cracked when touch with a metal spatula.

I didn't get to taste the chicken fettuccine! I'll bet it was good. We'll have to taste it after Covid.

BT 200DZ is the model. Been using it regularly and we really like it. Temperature control when cooking makes all the difference. Thanks for your comment Andrew.
