Dear Nelca, thank you very much for these educational vedios, much appreciated. Could I please know why a calculation object is used here in comparion to an assesment zone (under construction tabe) used in another car parking tutorial? Also when a calculatin object is used, how can you specify the MF (maintenance factor) for the luminaries. Thanks again - Chad
Hi Nelca, I should give this tutorial a shot. I'm looking for a tutorial that will allow me to construct a sloping site in Dialus. It is for a car park. And I must also figure out how to construct the ramps and other facade features.
Hi Nelca,I know that you use revit with ifc translators, you have worked some project with archicad ifc, there is some problem with the recognition of zones, Greetings
Hi, I need some help. I usually only work on office buildings with indoor calculations using dialux evo. I have a outdoor car park design I am working on. I am adding bollard lights around the car park outside the building. How do I calculate the lux levels in a big open space like a car park? Do i have to draw a calculation surface across the whole external car park?? Or draw calculation on each section?
hi, there is one youtube video on how you can do it. But I think you need to download the app to convert it. Check that one but be careful in installing app in your PC.
Am sure that god send you to me in this moment am so worry because of my new project outside lighting exactly exactly like your project in style thanks dear
Hi Nelca, The video is very informative. Do we consider driveway and Parking as 2 differennt calculation surface. Also can we show the street in the outdoor lighting calculation in candela. Thank you
Hi Ms. Nelca.. I wonder how to change material on that assesment area. Should we create an extrusion or insert rectangular object with specific high first? Or is there any other method? Thank you Best Regards,
Hi, there are several methods to have different textures on the ground. You could create different floor element or extrusion objects, as long as the extrusion points do not collide.
Hi mam Nelca. How to exclude the room or inside building premises in the calculation, because i need only to calculate the outdoor spaces but the inside building automatically calculates wherein i did not put lights.
if you make a calculation thru calculation surface tab, you could make a cut out (means cutting off the area that you don't need a calculation) or if you do from assessment area, I think you could exclude also the areas that you do not need some calculation. But overall, Dialux will render some lights throughout you whole area just to show some light spills form outside or from inside
Your videos are so helpful and your accent is so cute and you speak so good English.
Keep up the great work.
Thank you.
Thank you very much for this video , Archi Nelca. Very impressive.
What standard code do you recognize in lux level determination?

have you tried to take off the surfaces? It should'nt calculate the area that dont have useful surfaces.
if you make a calculation thru calculation surface tab, you could make a cut out (means cutting off the area that you don't need a calculation) or if you do from assessment area, I think you could exclude also the areas that you do not need some calculation.
