Cute apartment. Put the scratching post away from the couch and get another one…. Amazon has double sided sticky tape for cats that you can put on the 8 corners of each end/side of the couch corners or use strips of packing tape on each side of the corners - cats don’t like the “slick” feel of the tape. Leave the tape on until not scratching becomes a habit.
I feel like the living room rug would look more balanced if placed in the middle of the room and not so much under the sofa. It’s beautiful & you’ll be able to see it more
Instead of another side table in your bedroom, maybe consider mounting a full-length mirror there. Also, I wouldn't be showing the view outside your window. People can find you pretty easily and typically in videos like this I've noticed it's a best practice to censor or block the view. Be safe, and congrats!
If you put soft paws on his claws it might help him scratching furniture! It’s cheap and super easy. Usually if you can’t do it on your own your vet should be able to put them on for you.
