Can definitly recommend "The Victorian Dressmaker" by Prior Attire. It is not as old as some of your books but it's great for beginners as well as intermediates and I use it a lot as reference and secondary source.
The second book, "Fashion" is thé first Fashion history book I ever had, my parents gave it to me after an exhibición on Fashion history in Madrid, and is still my favourite one, alongside with "Fashion: A history from thé 18th to thé 20th century" which I own in one little volume
@@Leeam Hahah I've seen Wicked a few times, but never noticed that🤦♀️ I'm guessing Galinda? So hard to see shoes on stage, so many other things to focus on!
Thanks for sharing your book collection! And also your amazon affiliate storefront - I've been wanting one of those cartridge fabric pen/pencils I've seen you use for ages.
Oh, there are some I don't have here... *collector instinct surges* The 1835 in particular looks yummy (and out of print, booo). I love the "Petit musée des modes", it's one of my faves and I just bought it on a whim, didn't know what to expect.
The original one? I believe you can still find original ladies kabinets. Or if you been the bigger book. There is a link in my description . I found several.
@@Leeam The Journal des Dames et des Modes - sorry, didn't realize the extant one was from the same year ! - Sadly it doesn't look like Amazon can find it for me but I'll keep an eye on other sources, it's a pretty book !
Thank you for make me aware. I apologize if I hurt anyone’s feelings. Please know that I do not support JK Rowling’s believes. The items on these shelves have been purchased and collected from childhood. My decision has been, to not remove these particular items from my live, I will continue to love the HP world as I have experienced them in my childhood, but it will always be stained by her believes. And It will also function as a reminder, to be accepting of any walks of life❤️
@@Leeam thanks for the reply. I have all the novels and hp movies, I've been to the studio tour, seen cursed child, it meant a lot to me too, so I understand your connection to the franchise. I've put everything in a box out of sight because seeing it makes me unhappy. I'm not saying you have to remove them from your life but maybe you could think about ways to film your bookcase without featuring them quite so prominently? :)
I am so in love with this idea. My favourite thing about visiting people's houses is seeing what they keep on their shelves. How wonderful!
Hihi! You can roam around in my bookcase anytime sweety😘
I love your shelves.
They’re so pretty.
I need to go book shopping now. Loved everything you showed.
This could get expensive.
😅oh dear!!!💸💸💸
Yeah. I had one of the same books you do. I really want to find a fashion plate book. I think that’ll be next. One at a time and it won’t be so bad.
I was entranced by the x-ray photos of the garments. I never thought of that! Now, I want that!
An x-ray? Or the book?😂

Ah yes! I know about this book! I haven’t gotten around in purchasing it yet.❤️

It’s worn by an ensemble member during emerald city. The girl with the blond bob and camera images.app.goo.gl/teH25sYmc6fom8RE6

Enjoyed seeing your books. While watching I realised my tablet is being stabilized by sitting on Corsets and Crinolines.
😂😂😂
Hey I'm new and not sure where to find it so I'll ask, where are you from? I love the way you speak!!
I’m from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
I'm really sorry, but I have to unsubscribe. I can't support people whose content suggests they still support JKR.
