You people are crazy..... Tennessee Fire, At Dawn, It Still Moves, Z, Evil Urges and Circuital? They are perhaps the greatest American rock band of their era. MMJ has been more consistent over the last 15 years than any other American Rock Band besides maybe Drive-by Truckers. This song is amazing.....

Even in their 2002-2006 era of cocaine, alcohol, and women they were incredible with their 70s southern garage rock thing. Then when they started making more polished records, the quality never dropped off. Kings of Leon is the greatest rock band of the last 15 years in my book, MMJ is close.
I got the feeling, seroiusly, My Morning has done it again. And this Waterfall will only rush powerful and sublime soul-searching tunes as they had done it since the amazing Z, their forth sonic feat which by the way will turn a decade since its release this same year. Jim James and co haven´t given up, so do we. Let´s expect this upcoming may 4th will drench us with their highlighting force and let it blast all over like the water when it fills up your ear-holes. I love evil urges its my favorite and as you may know its the lesser liked one it seems. The reasons people say they dont like evil urges is what to me, i hear in Circuital although i like it too

Love it love it love it love it. Loved MMJ since It Still Moves in '03-ish. Not hugely in to Evil Urges and Circuital; though most of those albums were great, the whole records just weren't as perfectly formed as ISM and Z (and as I later found out, Tennessee Fire and At Dawn). So when I discovered today there's two new records announced over the next two years, I was extremely eager to see where Jim James' psychedelic express train was going next. And this... well, this is just transcendental. So looking forward to May for the full album.
To those who keep commenting about this song being "basic"...songs don't necessarily have to be complex to be GOOD...and if this music doesn't resonate with you, then this song isn't for you, and that's okay- you just need to go find some other music that you do resonate with. As for me, Ive listened to all MMJ/Jim James stuff, and I love this album. This song is super relatable to me in my life, especially when it unexpectedly shows up in the middle of an acid trip 👽

Too many years wasted on "what if?" The first time I heard this I tripped out at the similarity. It actually made me feel better to know that there are other people with the same problem. That was however many years it's been since this cd came out. Still stuck. I wonder if any of you can relate to what I'm saying. Tell me about it if you want. I got to see them on their last 3 album tours. Evil Urges, Circuital, and Waterfall. I'm gonna have to say the Evil Urges show was the best one so far. In Nashville, TN on the banks of the Cumberland River downtown. There was a Tennessee Titans game being played in the stadium across the river at the same time. The Titans won which meant they celebrated with a bunch of fireworks over the stadium. The audience could see it so we started clapping and cheering for the fireworks display. The guys in MMJ heard us getting loud for the fireworks which made them start to jam even harder, which fueled the audience even more, which drove the band to rock even more, and so and so on...It was intense! After the fireworks display ended, things slowly went back to normal. I can't remember which song they were playing. I'm pretty sure it was something from It Still Moves, or At Dawn.
Actually, some may wanna kick me for this, but they are almost a cross between REO Speedwagon and Blues Traveler... But I love MMJ! This is the first time I've heard them and I'm glad I haven't completely missed out!
A classic song that you'll hear 50+ years from now and say, "I still love it."
