This song got me through what was probably the hardest time in my life, so coming back to it brought up hard memories and I probably never found the words. Well here I am, after all this time, back to express my gratitude. I genuinely don't think I'd be here and have gotten as far as I have without this song, and certainly not so without Sim as a whole. This song was what got me into their music when I was at the peak of my brony phase. I lost most of that with time, but this song will likely stay with me for the rest of my life. The feelings that it evoked back then were so perfectly bittersweet, it felt like the only thing in my life that I could relate to, and had I been able to, I would have cried for days listening to it. I found solace in this song and it let me carve out a tiny piece of happiness that was purely my own. Thinking about it now, I can't tell you how nostalgic yet heart-wrenching it is to listen to these soundtracks and thinking about the good old days of Freak Fortress, Versus Ponyville and TF2 as a whole. This was one of the most nostalgic soundtracks ever in my entirety of knowing and playing TF2. I've been playing TF2 ever since July of 2012. And I was 12 at the time. Now, 12 YEARS later, I am now 24 years old, and TF2 is still a part of my life. It is unfortunate that those good old days are over... But at least the TF2 community still stands strong despite the old days being over. I love this community. I love every single person in the community who still stands proud for this TF2 universe. ❤️
