What I love about *good* music is the fact that no matter what version, or if there's no lyrics/lyric is in the different language, you still can FEEL the song's emotions and what the author wanted to show by it.
There's no lyrics but u can *feel* the 'misery' and being threatened, in danger, yet sad, angry... Theres so much emotions in there, most of them are ofc negative but we often feel this way.

This actually made me feel like this version is a different kind of delivery than the original. The original was a guy and this song is pretty much his thoughts, he was angry, people judge him, he is making enemies along the way, while this version is kind of the same guy but now he's old, he is done with the life and moved on to other things, now he is giving advice to a kid who he sees his younger self in.

Yeah, this version is more like epic, or sentimental in a manner. Mainly bcuz i think the chords selected for the chorus here are kind of different from the original song; my guy/my girl did a reharmonization of the song.
Oh kinda like Vander? Vander was an angry dude who was fighting for Zaun, but as he grew older he realizes that dream is near impossible. He moved passed his dark time, now he's carring for his children
Yeah, the original song has different chords, mostly minnors, most of this chords are mayor, which tend to give a sense of happiness, or hope.
The original was specifically Jinxs pov tho. But yeah I can see what u mean about it having a different vibe.

Why is literally every single aspect of this show absolutely incredible I don’t even really like imagine draglines but I loved that song and the animation omg it is tooo good I stunned by how good this show is and I’m so excited for season 2
Hi! An opinion here! I know you have your own agendas with the style you went through on this song, (relaxation perhaps) and I must say it did a great job at that! I would love to listen to this when chilling! Buuut here is the catch--the song isn't meant to BE RELAXING--it was meant to conjure pain, injustice and unease("look after yourself!") and likely, the feeling of tipping over the edge of sanity. Confusing. Chaotic, in a way.
As I listen to this, the more it hit me that I'm not "feeling" the song anymore--what its about, and instead what I got is a happy, utopia version. Remember that in the absence of lyrics, the notes must speak for themselves. Music is more about storytelling, how the harmonies take us to an emotional journey, how each major, minor, or dissonant chord makes us feel. This made a bit dissappointed in the rendition .
Hey, here is the bright side though: If this type is what you want, then go for it! I am just telling you my side, so that at the very least you will hear feedback from the opposite sides of the viewers. I would be thrilled if you would make a darker, version nearer to the original, but hey--you're awesome the way you are! But still I hope you heed my say to be of constructive purposes. I would love to see you grow. Good day!
@Krisaleks Yeah, piano just hits the spot right when you want conjure sadness(and violin, too). About the volume control, most likely. I cannot feel the dynamics that much, considering the songs demands such.
And also, what kinda messes my head is the instrumentation. Yes I know its a piano channel and all but piano this isn't just the "identity" of Enemy, nor its region, Zaun. Hearing a Zaunite song on piano is like hearing a Piltovan Noble interpret the hardships of the people in the slums of the undercity--it just won't do. Or maybe this just me getting too immersed in League's music, who knows hahaha
@Krisaleks But hey, the pianist still did a great job if you come ro think of it. But perhaps the best interpretation on this one lies not on the performer but on the voice of the instrument, cuz piano is too neat and clean for a buzzy song like this. But hey, nothing is impossible
it sounds exhausted, probably suitable for whatever might be in store for us at the last episode of act 3 next week. I know I will definitely be feeling like this rendition, since Riot has pulled two crazy endings on us already. they will do it again.

In my head, the original is during the conflict, where all the action and adrenaline is, fast pace and pumped. This however is the aftermath of it, cinematic, calmer, and hit's harder than before. Like a reprise of a score.
