A great Tennis memory was when Murray was spanking Roddick at Queens, maybe the best ive ever seen Murray play, and Roddick shouted "keep it social"
    Class banter.

When Murray retires , Murray retires. Leave it up to him . He has earned the right to go out when he wants . Just appreciate and be thankful for the greatness he gave us .

He has been a true great. Reaching 11 GS finals tells more of a story if anything than the three wins. Wawrinka matched Murray’s three Slam wins but only reached one other GS final and only one or two other semis for that matter. Telling.

ISTR when a journalist asked Roddick when he was going to retire, he replied with a shake of the head, an eye-block and then said to the journalist 'I think you should retire'.
Which is just about the best response ever...

He did brilliant for a British tennis player especially as no British man had won Wimbledon for 77 years. His legacy was complete when he won his first back in 2013. He didn’t need to play another match after that.
But to be fair when compared to the 3 GOATs of tennis he was a level below. I mean Novak won at 8x the slams he did and they’re 1 week apart in age. And now he’s completed everything there is to win in tennis singles.

It's unfortunate his body broke down end of 2016 he was number 1 won a grand slam Olympics and most titles in one year in his whole career . Never gonna match the accolades of the other three but he still had a couple of slams in him if he was healthy

I’ll always remember the first time Andy Murray won Wimbledon. He wasn’t, if we’re being honest, on the same level as the Big 3 but he was the best non-Big 3 player to have played in the same era as them. I do wonder how much more he might have done though.

In my view if Andy had a regular hip he would defeat sinner, alcaraz, rune and fritz regularly.

At his best ? or just a regular one ? Because yh sure at his best it's a insult to compare Murray to these new gen he was competing with greats like del Potro and stan
