I love watching medicine days in the life, it makes me excited about what my future may be like!!! Also I’d like an overnight oats recipe, if you did a video on student meals! 😊
It is so interesting seeing what a Medical student's day look like! Even with lockdown, I still have f2f classes each day. I love the 25 minute walk to campus... now I never thought I would ever say that before lockdown!!
Just a tip, so if you write your notes on notion for example you can quickly copy and paste them into Anki or quizlet so you can have them both in a note form and a flashcard form depending on how you feel like studying that day (the way I have done it for 3 years, really liked it and it doesn't take too much longer)
As a future MATURE medical student (31 when apply) It's great to see young people like yourself doing these great videos. Also I'm overweight at the moment and some of the vids you do and your Insta pics of better quality food has opened my eyes a little I don't need takeaway, junk food or fizzy crap. You are very pretty, amazing teeth, fully of energy and I know you'll make an amazing Doctor. P.s what was your full academic results? GCSE, UCAT, A levels if you don't mind.
Thank you so much, so glad you found healthy food ideas I love eating well makes me feel so much better! I’m going to do some videos on this soon. Thank you for all your lovely comments it really means a lot ☺️
If you’re after further support with notion, particularly for your course, Ali Abdaal (another RUclipsr) has some great content and demos. I think he too uses Anki to remember info you need to just remember and notion for his main questions with supporting content. Good luck👍
Love your vlogs, i'm a 1st year med student so i sympathise with the amount of stuff you have to do! Was wondering what software you were using at the start of the vid to make your notes annotating images and stuff because I'm still trying to find an easier way to do mine xx
Thanks so so much 🥰 and we have so much content do we!!! I use notability and I love it there’s honestly nothing the app doesn’t do would really recommend it xx
I did maths A level and I can safely say it has not helped one bit! There is hardly any maths and the maths I’ve done has been really simple so your be so fine. Obviously, i can only speak for 1st year but I’ve heard there isn’t a lot at all.
@@annarebecca thats reassuring! I am not too keen on maths either lol loved it at GCSEs not sure I want to continue for A-Level but I like RS which will hopefully help with essay type questions if there are any!
hey anna! I love your videos so much! I'm currently in year 12, so I'm considering my uni options- I just can't decide if medicine would be a good idea for me. I'm not set on it but I really enjoy maths and science, and I have good grades in them. I just don't know if my heart is 100% in it, and I know that motivation and keenness are key for a med student.
Aw thank you so much.💛Yeah I would say if you do need a lot of motivation to do it as it is a really tough course. But I wouldn’t worry about being 100%, I don’t think anyone ever knows 100% what they want to do. Just try to get work experience when you can, and think though why you want to do it x
It’s a really tough time when trying to decide at such an early point essentially what to do with your life but keep in mind at this stage everyone is in a bit of a bubble and it feels like there is an immense amount of pressure on you to make the right choice and set down your future in concrete, but in a few years you’ll know that’s not the case. You’re at a point where there’s so many avenues and options for you and none of them are permanent or a lifelong commitment, even though it can feel like that sometimes, it can be so overwhelming! My advice is to take a really wide, broad look at your options, what you love most and are good at, but I think if you’re already doubting medicine and your heart isn’t set on it then it would be better to look at the other avenues, and that’s perfectly fine! Just remember that there are almost an infinite amount of ways you could go, and there’s no such thing as a dead end as you’re in control of the choices you make. Best of luck 😊
it makes me so happy to see you crushing it in medical school!! keep up the hard work girl you got this!
Thank you so much lovely, this means so much to me!! xx

Hi, would you use a lot of maths in med school? I take bio, chem and English as I’m not a maths person. How is the maths in led school?

Is the iPad 11 inches or 12.9 inches and do you think it’s too big esp for portability?
Its the 12.9 and I think it is perfect, I love the screen being bigger. It is still so light and portable, I've had no problems at all!
INTERESTING VIDEO!!!

Even though we are not in lockdown in Scotland, I am online only as a student nurse, its seriously hard 😭
It’s so hard having everything online! 😭 but we will get though it!
