The z06 has more horsepower and torque, the problem with the z06 is its rear wheel drive and has a difficult time putting the power to the wheels. If they do the quarter mile the vette should take the GTR
Koryphaios it would quite easily, the GTR's party trick is it's take off but there is only so much a v6 can do when it starts to climb the speedo. Once the vette is over it's initial spinning up and can put its power down it will make up the gap

Most definitely! You need the quarter mile track because by the time the 8th mile happens, that is when the vet is in his full power band. The GTR gets into the full power band right away just about off the line plus some feet to get to your full boost. Tell your dad to grab some hoosier drag radials or similar from another brand. You can do the same as well with your GTR. This will give you guys the biggest advantages off the line to where your dad can actually hook and same with you.
Not to mention, it'll save the tire life of your street tires

romans gtr is modified. He did get it from nissan, but he modified it at the shop. It was in a vlog from a while back
1. The 1/8 mile was too short for the Corvette to get grip and increase speed.The GT-R just tooks off the line thanks to its AWD system.
2. Your dad had his window open, which increased drag, making things even more difficult for the Vette.

GTR HAS LANCH CONTROL SO IT HAS A BETTER START
the Z06 is faster in terms of top speed 200 MPH, it has superior handling, it sets superior lap times, it has superior braking, also its RWD vs AWD, AWD is always going to win at a drag strip. either way the Z06 is a superior performer.. the GTR is a one trick pony for the drag strip.

Roman, if you guys really like drag racing, you can get the kids in jr dragsters at 7 years old in the IHRA and 5 (at some tracks. Most it’s 7) in the NHRA. It’s sooooo much fun! Same goes for Matt (demolition ranch). I grew up in the sport of drag racing so seeing big vloggers like you and Matt drag racing makes me so so happy :)
Yeah I have a NHRA license and I was a running junior dragster that ran 7.90s
