You know, this was popular when I was a teenager. It still holds up today. Back then we didn't appreciate all the good music we had because it was just a normal thing. It takes experiencing most of the music today to realize how good we had it back in the 70's and 80's. There was so much attention to harmonies, arrangements, melody, and LYRICS back then. Nights On Broadway would be a good Bee Gees choice for the future.
They have so many great songs, dive into their huge catalog, you won't be sorry. Fanny Be Tender, Alone, Massachusetts, To Love Somebody For Whom the Bell Tolls, My Lovers Prayer, oh there are way to many to list.❤
For another great experience with them, try Samantha Sang 1977 record “Emotions”. The Bee Gees wrote and produced the track, making all the backing voices, too. 🌟🎶
What makes them great,.. especially in this one is,.. i doubt this was layered. ( being a live take. They are three very talented guys singing into one microphone. Their control and pitch perfect timing of the harmonies and vibratos are insane. Great reaction Dan as always. 🔥✊✌️
Kaysee here ... hey Dan, this is one of my favourite songs of the Bee Gees. Those harmonies are amazing. It's another song that gives me goose bumps when I listen to it. I agree with one of the comments below about listening to "Tragedy". If I can also suggest two power ballads for you to listen to... "Love Will Lead You Back" by Taylor Dayne and "I'm Outta Love" by Anastasia. Two women with very powerful voices.
They have so many more songs than disco and/or Barry on lead singing falsetto and Mo and Robin singing backup. I hope you can get to some of their hits with Barry singing in his chest voice and maybe one or two with Robin on lead or where they share lead. This is not their signature as they wrote over 1000 songs. Huge catalog of songs that are very diverse from this sound or the disco sound. Please check some of them out. Massachusetts I Started A Joke To Love Somebody Holiday How Can You Mend A Broken Heart Fanny Be Tender with My Love Nights on Broadway One For Whom the Bell Tolls You Win Again The first are earlier and the last 3 are later songs. Truly, they are more than disco, Barry's falsetto and the twins as backup.
I think it’s more R&B…like some of the R&B groups (the Stylistics, the Chi-lites, etc.) NEXT UP: Fanny Be Tender Jive Talking Stayin Alive You Should be dancing Night Fever
Hi would you please react to From here to Eternity by the Fizz this is such an emotional song, The lead singer on this track is Jay Aston she was diagnosed with mouth cancer on the day they recorder this song. She had a gruelling seven-hour operation to remove a section of her tongue and then had it rebuilt using part of her thigh she has now recovered and it still preforming with the group to this day. The Fizz - From Here To Eternity (Official Video)

Emotions was written by Barry & Robin. Barry's the only one singing with her, and was produced by him & his production team.
The brothers donated all the proceeds from this song to UNICEF, to benefit children around the world. It has raised over $7 million.
Actually, it's about 13 million USD these days.
Excelent choice!!!! 🎶🤩

Please try „Tragedy“ the audio version. Love your reactions
There's no auto-tune in this but Barry did lay down 6 tracks off background harmonies for this song.
you pegged it; it's a disco ballad!

@ I just gave him the list that I loved. Now I love To Love Somebody too, but the Mid-late 70’s were MY favorite Bee Gees times❤️
@@Sandra6411 Cool! I was just adding some I thought he would be interested in that might sound a little different than disco and the twins on backup.
@ I will be happy with any Bee Gees reaction he does from any era👍🏾
Great reaction. Please do so later work like:
Obsessions
I could not love you more
Kiss of life
Alone

Paying the price of love
I surrender
