Excellent! Now you have a decent rc buggy. A track specialized one, from Kyosho, the several times world champion, nontheless. That, is a precision/pure performance machine, not a mere basher. If you don't want to go 4S all the time, just swap the pinion gear from 14 to 17 theet and use it with a 2s. You willl see what I'm talking about. Congrats!
Wow...I busted out my 20+ year old Inferno sports 7.5, and was considering doing an electric conversion. Now's a good time, as I have it totally torn down for...for what? A stainless hex head conversion. I'm shocked to see this thing still has Phillips head hardware!
I would do the electric conversion. You guys are right. They're Phillips heads. But I have had every screw in and out and back on this thing. No stripped screw heads. And the way the threads tighten into the plastic feels much firmer than any hex I have screwed into all my other cars plastic frames and chassis pieces. This was literally where I felt the quality of Kyosho
Absolutely! I am not a car racer. I bash. Bounced it off a tree at full wick on the second run. On accident. Bent a rear dogbone. The thing is designed well, assembled well and is easily the most race ready car I have driven. Handles awesome. Drifts my backyard.

I'm afraid the Phillip head screws are a deal breaker for me. Can't imagine what the designers were thinking.
Always what I thought as well. The Kyosho small tool kit is a must
Exactly why I didn't buy this buggy
Thanks for advice

Phillips screws are the best.
The readyset only comes with 2 satellite gears in the diffs as opposed to 4 in their kit.
Did you add the 2 extra gears?
No I did not. This is a dream car/shelf queen. I run it hard when it goes out, but am keeping it pretty much stock.
@@Cooch5RC oh wow, ok. I’m about to buy one and was curious if it needed the additional 2 gears or not.
Thanks for the quick reply back!
Hey Cooch So would you recommend this buggy for its overall quality?
Absolutely! I am not a car racer. I bash. Bounced it off a tree at full wick on the second run. On accident. Bent a rear dogbone. The thing is designed well, assembled well and is easily the most race ready car I have driven. Handles awesome. Drifts my backyard.
@@Cooch5RC thanks again for your experience with this rig...I'm still contemplating on it.
How have you got along with it?
Fun. Bent a rear driveshaft after bouncing it off a tree or something. Blast. Fast. Want to improve my control then hit a race one day
what a diff with mp10e?
Some components and geometry, I believe. Don't know any details off the top of my head.
How fast dose it go?
@@watzegjemedaarnouvan I run it on 4S and it flies. 40 mph?
@@Cooch5RC 40mph on 4s?
Does it run on 6s too?
@ stock it is set up for 4s max.
How is it so far
I love it! Broke it in as a basher. Been making some improvements and tuning it in. Thanks!
Is it worth getting is it better than typon 6s
Not sure weather to get the mp9 or the typhn6s
What’s top speed in mph
Does this take same battery as typhon6s
Run time?
I do not race yet. So driveway runs and skipping across the lawn it seriously seems to run forever
cut the tape!take out everything.
Exactly!
