OH FRICK YEAH!!!!! A channel about older ( well not 20 year old 'influencers' ) women, crones that love all of the things I love, I am so excited!! Coffee with Crones is a BRILLIANT idea. This is magic.A cup of chai, dogs cuddled up to me, hanging with my new friends. I love The Good Life, fave show as a teen and is such a comfort show! I had a hysterectomy 2 months ago and since I have never felt better or happier, I didn't realise how sick I was from anemia, I have been in the garden all day every day. I would love to see your gardens. Also would love to hear more about your fave books and shows and any podcast you like? Very interesting point about plants growing around you that you need.. I have nasturtiums coming up by the thousands through my garden and I have just had a thought.. because of my anemia I have 'Pica', a condition where you get intense cravings for usually non food items like rocks/dirt, my craving is strong intense antiseptic type tasting things like eucalyptus oil and now cardamon seeds, I eat kilos of them and it has done a lot of damage to my teeth that I am having to deal with BUT ...I am thinking I should use nasturtium seeds to chew on and try to satisfy that crazy craving! Of course morning dew on plants would be like Bach flower remedies! Brilliant tip. Fantastic to hear that there is a facebook page for us all to meet I am so happy that this popped up in my recommended! Big love to you ladies❤❤❤

I love nasturtiums! I haven't tried eating them yet but ive seen them being used in salads, they are supposed to be a bit peppery and the seeds are a bit like capers? Check for allergies first of course 😅
Last time I grew nasturtiums they got eaten by a LOT of catterpillars 😂 but I'm fine with this. There will have been some happy birds and lots of butterflies that year!

Chai and Dogs! What more could you want? Absolute bliss! Yes, the garden is such a phenomenal space to reconnect with ourselves, to be still and to hear what our bodies are saying! I love sitting in the sun (I'm originally from South Africa) closing my eyes and just breathing deeply. BB Cindy
Words will sometimes reveal secrets that our logical mind does not believe or authenticate...is something spelling a message ? I have noticed that 'to eat soil' , letters rearranged, says, 'isolate'. Whether one should isolate and enjoy the luxury, or whether it could be a statement about early childhood or something, I don't know. And I do know that everything found in rearranged spellings is not true....but in my experience, it often is ,uncannily, something that is happening, ir something that science is just discovering. Is spelling ...casting spells?? Of course, dogs and chai, that's perfect already. Enjoy your day!💛 Oh! I forgot the obvious! 'I eat oils' is spelled in there, so I'm thinking, seeds! The oil in seeds might have nutrients that your body is craving! Sprouted pumpkin seeds are great!

Here's a story of what's growing is what you need. I was emotionally sick to my stomach, so I went out into the yard and asked for help with this, to show me what I need. When I looked up, it was directly at Wisteria, whose flower essence is good for women healing from men's abuse. It worked too.

I'm back, a week later, watching again! I think this is the first time I have been in at the start of a new channel. At 62, it is just mind blowing to me how far we've come, as Witches, in my lifetime. I started practicing at 13, but had to keep my beliefs private for years. I belonged to a couple of covens, also in secret. I went public with my own practice about 30 years ago, and was reasonably well received, but now...Witchcraft and Paganism are the fastest growing Spiritual practices in the world! And here we are chatting about it on Social Media! What an exciting time to be alive!

I am of strong Celtic ancestors. Having trouble with high blood pressure and men’s chemical meds and I do not get along well. While sitting at the store one day, I received a thought of Hawthorn, so off I went in search and started taking hawthorn and down my pressure went! I so appreciate the medicines that are given to us naturally and I even appreciate the wisdom you three ladies share! Keep it coming, I’m growing wiser by the minute!

Welcome Denise! So pleased that the Hawthorn spoke to you, its a great plant. I make my tincture with all the parts, I harvest the new leaves and flowers in the spring and shake once a day, then after 3 months strain and add the leaves again and in the Autumn, I add the Berries, this makes a really whole medicine I find. I also out the berries into a salad. BB Cindy
You could also try massage and lymphatic massage. All natural also. Just not as cool as these ladies and what they do!❤😂

I live in Asia and remember my eldest sister who apprenticed with one of my grandmothers, making potions using dew collected from flowers and leaves. She has forgotten about it...being hocusy pocusy and frowned upon by 'religion'.
In some latino tradicions the believe is that dew holds the energy of healing, since it brings life to soil and feeds all plants.

What a beautiful idea!! Hello from Idaho, USA! I am 30 years old and in my neck of the woods it is all very religious. Mormanism, Amish, Mennonites, Christianity is big here. I have made some wonderful religious friends but nothing like what I left. I left a wonderful group of spiritual women before I moved to the mountains and I wonder how long do I have to wait for some witchy women to come into my life for deep conversation?! I just found you and subbed right away. I love nature and use almost exclusively natural remedies for EVERYTHING. One concern is that a lot of us mature ladies have downsized and have no garden so I hope you will embrace subjects other than gardening on your channel. Congrats on your new yt endeavor ❤

residing in a basement apartment theses last 5 years without a garden has been hard, although i do have many houseplants. This year i was gifted a plot at local community garden in Canada. My neighbour gifted the plot to me as a single dad he wanted to learn about gardening so he got one too. It will be of ease for me to get back and forth to the garden as transportation is available from my neighbour. The first thing i did for my plot was create a garden altar/garden guardian. I am an Altar maker and this felt so wonderful to create this for my gardening journey that i thought was lost to me. Thank U ,U beautiful crones, i am grateful as I am also a crone.

I am at the stage in my life where I am reassessing withdrawing from my career to dedicate myself fully to my souls desire - gardening/plant medicine, and connecting with Mother Earth is where I am totally being drawn to - so I look forward to listening, learning and where possible sharing with all. The world is in a very precarious spot right now and it seems to me, that many women of our generation are looking for how we were raised in nature and trying to find our way back. I for one grew up in the country, still living in the farmhouse my grandparents bought 111 years ago! Finding solace in nature is mind and life saving.

This is just the thing. I could listen to you all talk all day. I'm a green witch who lost my friends over the past decade the more I come into myself. I come from a Southern, conservative culture but have moved since. It's been hard to lose connection with other that fear what I believe but nice to come into myself. Listening to this made me feel like I had friends again. Thanks so much. Can't wait for the next one.
Isn't it liberating that as we get more into who we truly are, old connections that don't serve us fall away. To me it really says more about the fact that on an energetic level they maybe not have been true friends anyway. Family well now that's a whole other story ! BB Cindy
I’m in very rural east Texas & know exactly what you are conveying. I wish I could trust anyone here to seek a companion. But companionship is not worth the risk to what I have at my homestead in the woods. The empowerment I am finally achieving & sustaining is more important. All my life I have dreamed of this life I am living now with no one lording over me and all my energy that I cultivate is mine to spend any way I want without judgments or interference from others. The sacrifices I had to make on my journey to get here are staggering beyond the comprehension of anyone I ever meet. So why would I allow some country simpleton to come and undo it all with her pockets full of good intentions and a head full of preconceived notions? It’s already taken me 2 1/2 years to achieve the wonderful title of “that crazy old cat lady that lives down the road” so that the little hooligans in the neighborhood are afraid of me and their parents no longer acknowledge my presence. Things couldn’t be better! So if Goddess should decide there is a suitable companion in my future I certainly do keep my mind open to it, but I am not seeking because in this region just to put the energy out there for people contact of any sort is dangerous. In this political insanity we live in as Americans lately, my very life depends on keeping my broom under the radar. I can’t even accomplish a proper acquaintance in this region, let alone any type of friendship. But every time I open my front door and I’m greeted with the sounds & smells of the pine forest and Eagles overhead… I realize I just don’t need anyone else anymore. My life is all about the great lady now. Frankly, I’m much too busy and anyone I do meet would have to be OK with joining in because I’m not leaving here except for once a month to go to town for supplies. I highly doubt I’m going to find anyone who fits that requirement. But Goddess has done greater miracles so I watch… I wait… I will see.

I also live on a homestead surrounded by woods in Colorado and don't see much of anyone but really enjoy spending time with the trees and my plants. It's such a peaceful life. It also keeps me busy but it's such meaningful and spiritual work, working with Mother Earth. I couldn't dream of doing anything else. So happy to imagine other like you living similarly. 💜

Hello from Sisters, Oregon. There are nearby snowy mountains, rivers and streams, and on the cusp of high desert with ponderosa pines and endless sage. I was here last year walking and listening to Clarrissa Pinkola Estes stories from her How to be a Crone collection. A transformational listen. (Women who Run with the Wolves author). I'm back a year later, and in the meantime, after a lifetime with spiritual touchstones, the pervading love of intuition has come calling in a powerful, heartening way! Walking here again, it's as if the beings of her stories have come to life in the forest in the form of memories. It's been 3 years of travel focusing on nature in search of a new place to land to have a garden and pond! The very considerations of my dreams, thank you!

I am delighted to have been shown the path to your youtube channel. I work with the earths magic through Reiki, Crystals, herbalism also trained in Shamanism follow the moon and the wheel of the year. I am starting this year to garden by the moon. I am considered weird by my family and people I know but I embrace this. I also work with and talk to animals and plants mentally and physically. I feel so blessed by these gifts I have been given.

Many are in rows, neat & tidy, plants spaced per the directions on the pkg. Not mine~ I've got flowers mixed in with veggies, volunteers flourishing (raspberries!), mint and peppermint growing in nooks and crannies~ borage and calendula popping up everywhere (ironic considering I have skin issues ;0)... Mother Earth has provided her own surprises also... roves of ladybugs and even a beautiful spider orbweaver... and yes, she has her space, and I have mine LOL. Trellis' are made from branches found on the ground, and I even have a repurposed brick path for the European flair... thank you for the opportunity to share~ wishing you much Love, Peace & Magic ! This channel came across my art videos. I’m a Canadian living in the very hot dry tropics of Panama SA. It’s hard to grow things where I live in this country but I do have nice tropical plants and flowers around. I’m an intuitive artist and a yoga teacher. I meditate and do tapping every morning to face this world/mud. I’m very blessed being retired and doing what I want to do. I’m glad to have found you all because I live a very isolated life here with 20 rescued cats from the streets. I love being outside and connecting to my environment. Unfortunately we can’t have open water around due to dengue in this country but I do get big toads visiting the cats water dishes! Looking forward to your videos. Massive love and light to all here!

Dandelions. Humble in their beauty and healing. I have such fond memory. On occasion, I would pluck a few to place in a juice glass to surprise my mother. On warm spring days I would lie amongst them to study the bees, butterflies and others who came to visit. The yellow of their flowers have brought me such cheer and renewal throughout the years.

Hello Ladies, fellow Cones. Speaking of "weeds", I have to constantly tell my significant other that even weeds have a purpose and/or are medicinal. He rails about the wild violets of all things! and the lemon balm and my stinging nettle and my mullein. The last two I called to me and my garden/yard. The violets have been here as long as I've lived in this place. Lemon balm is also a native here. I love them all.

Each piece of earth has its very own medicine and medicine keepers, the Māori connection with the plant and earth medicine is critical to healing the country's energy and included in that is its people. You are the keepers of its beautiful Pounamu as well and as a crystal therapist I believe that that is the real medicine that holds such wisdom. I long to visit Aotearoa again as my Gran, Uncle and cousins all live there I spent about 8 weeks travelling around in 2000. It is heaven! BB Cindy

Suggestion: would you all like to talk about play as a key to magick/creativity. I have consciously cultivated a spirit of play, but I notice that people around me don't seem to tap into playfulness easily. Play as in wonder, imagination, whimsy, creativity, thinking outside the box, humor ... kind of a broad spectrum of energy. I find play opens energetic pathways, spiritually, creatively, and lightens my spirit. Maybe, this is a topic you would like to chat about. Love what you all are doing!

Absolutely, I wish I had sat with the wisdom keepers more often. my paternal grandmother died when I was aa teenager and I still miss her very much, although not pleased I inherited her kimono arms. My maternal grandmother has lived in NZ for most of my life, but I am lucky to have spent a lot of quality time with her which is priceless. But as we moved from clan/tribe/ village life and into our nuclear family zones we don't get to sit with our Elders and listen to their wisdom, so I feel a great sense of loss around this! BB Cindy

So much to learn from our Elders experiences, maybe I'm tuning into it more but I feel the conversation is broadening in society by women of a certain age and stage, making their voices heard. Certainly the menopause is being more openly talked about and a more positive approach as a rite of passage into wise womanhood.

Absolutely! I'm so interested in shadow work. I find that shadow work is fitting very well with my stage in life, accepting all aspects of ourself, part of the journey to crone/ wisewoman. Great topic!

I am so happy this video just showed up in my YT list! I subscribed right away. I love how much fun you 3 have in your intro with the cauldron, it reminded me of something. My mom was born on October 31, Halloween, to her. She loved telling her kids, and then her grandkids about how she turned into a witch, and turned us all into frogs and cats and flew us around on her broom on Halloween night. She said that it explained why we were always tired the next morning! (The trick-or-treat candy sugar overload probably had something to do with that, too! Lol) Anyway, she said she always thought it would be so cool to go down to the beach very near her house, and make a bonfire, and dance around it like wild, and "bury some chicken bones or something." She had no idea why she would bury chicken bones, and neither do I. She never practiced or read about anything magical or pagan or witchy, she just innately knew something wild and mysterious was always tugging at her spirit. She never did that, of course, because she had nobody to do it with. I lived too far away to ever do that, because our visits were always too short. She was a natural. She composed a gounding and protecting and warding blessing for my nephew when he was about 4 or 5 and was afraid to sleep alonee in his room in the dark at night. It included the 4 directions, even! It worked. She made it up spontaneously for him. When she told me about it, my jaw dropped to the ground. I wrote it down. Hope I can find it somewhere in my messy studio one day. She passed away from Alzheimers 2 months ago. I feel her every day, and my sister and I get visits from Cardinal birds every day that feel like her. I am blown away by how Crones have just started showing up in my life. I feel so comforted and guided. Thank you all so very much. Please keep going!!
