Definitely picking this guy up Not one of my all time favorite designs but I still kind of like it, plus he'll look good as a placeholder in my city diorama until I get the NECA Godzilla 1989
Can they do more 2.0s of earlier release, cause Heisei, Shin, and some of the other Godzillas could use some adjustments, especially Shin, god that figure needs a new head and tail
@@ShinGoji1987Official Smoking real good! Besides, I'm fortunate enough to find this bad buy here, along with both the NECA Godzilla 1994 and Burning Godzilla as well, on my local Target in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Well I was originally going to pass on this one as well but after watching this, looks like I'll definitely have to pick him up now. Awesome review Steven!
well it really isn't a 2.0...it's just a half step up so its 1.5. :) Kudos to you on the posing at 1:50. Seeing it from the back and as it spun around almost gave me that movie feel.
Its Pretty Easy To Find This Figure On Stores But Every Store Has Diffrent Looks , Sculps , Height And Painting So I Decided To Not Buy Them And Just Wait For That Guy To Come To Me As A Bday Gift Or Christmas Gift!
I might just have to pick this one up along with Godzilla 1954 and Godzilla 2019. I also have the 1995 Burning Godzilla, I find it to be a really good stylized version of the kaiju, just a little stiff at first.
I had the original and never even knew there was a reissue. I never really liked the design of the original but by the time I had heard about 2.0 all the scalpers had got to them apparently. I'm not paying $100+ for this thing which, have every single one of the NECA Godzilla's really stinks. Still hoping to find one at a Walmart or Target someday. Oh and I hope theres a special place in hell for scalpers.....
I think I prefer the latest X-Plus 1984/85 30cm sculpted by Yuji Sakai. That figure is hands down the most accurate Godzilla 84 on the market. While the improvements on Neca’s second attempt are nice, this figure is still no where near as accurate as it can be. I’d much rather they went with a completely new sculpt for a 2.0 instead of just some minor retooling here and there. Especially when compared to Neca’s latest prototypes for the 1989 and the 2k3 Godzilla, this 84 still feels like the odd man out in the ascendancy of Neca’s Godzilla offerings
It's technically 1984. But, thank god this is much better. Now Shin Godzilla, Burning Godzilla 1995, GMK and Godzilla 2019 V1 are already consider the worst figures of the NECA Line.
>Is the NECA Godzilla 1984/1985 2.0 be released? What? >Also, will both the NECA Godzilla 1994 and Burning 1995 2.0 be available as well? There aren't.

Is is an improvement over the original, but it is certainly not worth buying again if you already own the original If your going to spend all this money on a 1985 Goji, you may as well save a bit more and go for an X plus which is far superior to any NECA or Monster Arts 1985 Goji
>all this money >$20 6 years ago >$25 this year I seriously hope you see the flaw with this logic. It is absolutely worth the purchase if you own the original.
@@StevensToyReviews Just because it was 6 years ago doesnt justify having 2 figures that are nearly identical from a few feet away, but hey thats just me
So we went from money to timeframe owning it, if I'm understanding correctly? Because if the argument is "$20 is $20" I mean if you haven't made back that original $20 in six or so years.... You shouldn't be collecting.
Steven's Toy Reviews Yes, I am aware and that is the issue. I will no longer buy anything from China. I will not support the CCP. It would be nice if Neca made their products in America and Bandai made their products in Japan.
Dying Muffin Yes, it is really hard to find what you want that is not made in China. Even when one asks for products made in Japan, the product one gets is a Japanese company but made in China. China is the golden goose for the corporate world and that gives the CCP huge power. They are using that power for global domination. Ask any of China’s neighbors.

Your right about Shin Godzilla its head needs to be fixed
Shin needs a new head and the tail needs a new tip along with an extra ball joint or 2.

In fact the video game appearance uses parts of the original

Sadly, this is the only articulated 84 on the market. Plus the X-Plus is hundreds of dollars. Not saying it's bad, just pricey.
I recently picked this up after having the original for years. I really wish would they would retool the 1994
Personally I would say the 1989 could fit as a revamp version of the 1994
They should retool the GvD (1995) so that the orange blends in more.
