Great video! I used your other video with extensions and it came out lovely!!! Can definitely see this becoming a go-to protective style and it's been a gym friendly one too! Even with extensions, its feels really light & not heavy.
I really like doing mini twists on my natural hair, but I have fine hair so while I have the length, the density doesn’t give so I have to add a lil hair to each. Your loc is maturing so beautifully!!
Hey Sis, 4 my low porosity hair, what works is mini twists with extensions. It’s a protective that helps my hair retain moisture. One month exactly then the take down. Your mini twists tutorials& all your content has helped my hair flourish beautifully.👍👍✅✅.
I love them on my natural hair. I do like them with extensions, just had a lot of slipping due to my grip not being tight enough. Thank You so much for sharing and caring 🤎🤜🏾
Hey Sis! I love mini twists. I do them on wet or dry natural hair but have never tried them with extensions. That's my next move once I put them in again. Thank you for this very detailed video with pictures. ❤
I have one singular loc in the back as well. I started it 5 yrs ago combed it out and did exactly what you said two years ago and kept one. That’s my little baby!
I think I found my hair twin, hair struggles included! I also love your style and how informative your videos are. You inspire me to start styling my hair again. New sub!
I sure appreciate you! I literally just did these per your last video this weekend, and I'm in love! I did extensions with mermaid 16in and I hope these will be the foundation for my locs! Thank you for being you!!❤
Aw thank you so much! I’m so glad you were able to use that tutorial 🫶🏽 that sounds so pretty! Yessss to starting off your loc journey, congratulations 🎉 thank you so much for your kind words!
I use all the methods to prolong the style lol. I'll explain... I start off at the salon with wet natural mini twist & then after sometime I take them down 1 by 1 and combine 2 into 1 with the extension hair and then leave in for a little longer. 🙂🙃🙂
WE HIT 10K ON TIKTOK 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I posted SO many mini twist videos on there! Please follow me if you haven't already www.tiktok.com/@jaichanellie

@@CammyjOfficial THANK YOU CAMMY!! You know we love to see the growth!
When using extra hair, you should feed in the hair with the knotless method before twisting. That might help it from not slipping but idk
that's what I do and it works well
Thanks for sharing. How do you do it ?
You are that girl!!!! Yes, mini twist all day all summer 4 sure 😍😍

Thank you so much!! Your hair looks GOOD in your pfp 😍 you’re so right about it being gym-friendly, there’s barely any added weight!

AGREED! I’ve tried a crochet method in the past, i gotta figure out which method works best. Thank you for watching 💕
Do you add gel before twisting ? I want to try it too 🤗

Do you think adding hair prevents hair growth and length retention? I would love to go for just natural hair but my hair is too fine.
I was thinking the same thing. Is this a style we can do back to back? And can I moisturize my hair in this style in between washes?
No, my hair grew so much in 2022. I would redo every 2-3 months depending on my schedule. Just keep your hair moisturized. Getting ready to redo now.
@@lakendracollier5099i cant wait to give it a try 😊What do you use to moisturize ?
What method is better for hair growth and length retention? With or without extensions?
I use all the methods to prolong the style lol. I'll explain...
I start off at the salon with wet natural mini twist & then after sometime I take them down 1 by 1 and combine 2 into 1 with the extension hair and then leave in for a little longer. 🙂🙃🙂
I get exactly what you mean, great description. This is such a clever way to reuse those parts and to prolong the style like you said!
@JaiChanellie yes, I don't have the patience so I'm all about making my job easier and cost effective lol.
Ugh, lemme figure out how to part better so I can try mini twists again. Every time I tried, I feel like it's not as cute as I want it to be.
