I am a player that just jumped to OSRS from RS3. tbh I truly love mid game. It's the excitement of clearing quests that unlocks some gear or area that you could never do in early game, the qol with reaching POH level goals or doing slayer on a brand new master you couldn't before. That's really so much fun to me.

I’ve actively gone after 99 farming.. just to get the passive cash from Contracts and seeds etc and got Herblore and mats for 900+ Sara’s! Can’t wait! about 130k off 81 and 350k off 99 farming. Buzzing.

Also an ectophial. would wear a digsite pendant. incorporate the bird houses in too at the beginning of my reset. So I’d do: > Birdhouse + Seaweed > Herb Run (with watermelon ultra making) > Yannilian run > Tree Run > Birdhouse and Seaweed > Herb run (with Watermelon ultra making) > Yannilian run > Hespori and pot making until timer up > Birdhouse + seaweed > Herb run (with watermelon ultra making) > Yanillian run > Tithe Farm Then repeat, making pots at farming guild to fill the time and Throwing in a Tithe farm as the filler. When making Ultras, it really fills out the time making it an active skill, no need to wait long. Oh, also contracts in between/harvesting berries/cacti.

IMO mid game is mid 70's in most skills, a couple GM quests done, fire cape, $100M bank, hard diaries, torso done, MA 2 done, and void obtained. End game is being able to solo most any boss and go on raids. Needing 80+ in skills and ~$400M+ bank
These are some great tips Kaoz, but the whole notion of trying to "escape" the mid-game in itself is sad. It insinuates mid-game is a bad place to be. Many players who get Max Cape end up quitting because the game feels empty. Those who don't quit often end up making IM, UIM, HCIM characters etc., because they miss having goals to aim for outside of "kill this boss ~4000 times for a pet (that will sit in the bank)". I'd advise anyone feeling stuck to just set any long term goal that you can achieve within the next 1-2 months. Then break that down into daily goals - so every time you log off, you're a little bit closer to that goal. It's not the reward or the efficiency of it that matters. What matters is that you're motivated to achieve it and don't get burned out along the way.

Do I play my Ironman with 60~ quests done (1150 total) or keep playing the regular account 90~ quests done and 500 more total levels. Kinda feel like I’m wasting time doing the same quests I did 4 years ago again
I didn't stop playing my main until I felt I accomplished everything I wanted/can go for. Then I made an Iron to balance out gameplay. To me it's sill having multiple accounts if at least one isn't maxed
7:05 you forgot to mention with the group ironmen update, main accounts can use anyone's house if they are on the same world and have private turned on. Also, can you friend's house if they have private set to friends and on same world.
honestly if u are new/mid dont try to save money for bonds not worth it, could use it for other places(literally con/herb/better gear), 13 dollars isnt a big deal, plus that bond price will keep going up if there are less people buying bonds with irl cash vs demand of bonds in osrs
Cant have a main without atleast one pet right? so select one you like and grind it out, the loot from it can be the foundation of your late game items.

I wanna play but the fact we all had to restart osrs accounts is what makes me not interested. I’ve already beat 95% of the game i just don’t have interest in doing all that over and then the new content just seems overwhelming :/
I had the same thoughts as you. Had 11 99's on my old acc and didn't join OSRS because I couldn't commit all that time only to get back to a level I used to be at. However, I joined OSRS last week. My approach is different this time around, I'm not looking to max out my stats. I'm just doing the skills I enjoy (Farming/Slayer) and getting the levels/quests required to do the things I want (PvM). I'm using AFK options wherever possible and efficient methods for buyable skills. To start my account I bought a few bonds, so basically putting 20-30m on my account which allows me to get through the early/medium phase of the game as quickly as possible. Some people disagree with buying bonds but I also see it as supporting the people who maintain this game. So whilst my account may never get back to level it was once at, I can still enjoy it whilst being pretty efficient with my time. Some days I will just do birdhouse/herb runs a few times a day which adds up to like 30 mins and I get good exp/money for that.

Completely disagree w skilling outfits, unless you arent going out of your way I think thats a big waste of time and fun for midgame players. There is far too much for midgames to worry about before some nonsense outfit for woodcutting, thats for endgames that only want number to go up for numbers sake.
I will give you an even better tip. Play less. Don't waste your life grinding endless hours of a pointless pixel game. Grind life. Dont grind runescape.

It's a grind man no way around it. Took me so long to slowly upgrade to max range armor and I'm still not there yet
Best advice I can give is grind high money low gear bosses like zulrah and vorkath for your first upgrades
Have to combine slayer and earlyish bosses to make that jump
