Little trick with nano bowl glass, you can use a wooden skewer and cut a small square off the melamine foam, and stick the pointy end into the side of square. Works good for the easy dusty stuff
@@inland_reef Have you noticed any undesirable chemistry changes due to lava rock? Lava rock usually has high mineral content, like iron, which is why black sand is often magnetic and potentially toxic in such a small bowl. Have you run any ICP tests on this bowl?
I just saw a video of a saltwater macro tank with lava rock where he says the lava rock is the reason his hair algae will not go away, been over a year. So not all lava rock works in a saltwater setup.
To some of the commentary, I read below.. Some of Jake's first few videos were not so polished as his later ones became.. Give them a break;) Jake was a hell of a brain to start with, and quite the uniquely talented gentleman as well;) Miss ya Jake!❤ God rest ur soul my friend! PS, How do you/ can you compair anyone to the "Bob Ross" of Reefing??¿¿
Thank you for these kind words about Jake. I really appreciate your support. We are all doing our best to continue on Jake’s legacy and to make him proud. I think we are doing a great job so far while we adjust to life without Jake. ~ Windsor Adams
Hey! I agree that some bowls can be too small for livestock but this is actually a 9gal fish bowl. Looks deceiving small on camera but it’s actually pretty spacious in there for him!
Hey, the Llama here...I promise I'm gonna do my best. I'm sorry you feel that way now but hopefully you'll give me a chance to prove myself in the future. Thanks for the feedback.
@@BahamaLlamaCoral thanks for the reply. I do appreciate you and your channel but I’m hoping the two channels stay separate as far as similar content and guests. You have some big shoes to fill at RB’s but if anyone can do it I’m sure you can. Good luck!

I love your tip: Share. As someone new to this hobby, I cannot express how helpful that is to me. Please do share the other tanks!

Great tip! Thanks for that. I will have to try it out next time!

Definitely would love to see his other tanks in more detail. His skill with macroalgae is evident. Thanks for sharing!
I like seeing these unique set ups. Also a nice touch to put the graphic with the coral names!
I just started a nano reef with black lava rock, makes me happy to see the success you are having with it!
What an incredible space/room, love it.
I loveeeee his place! It's an old factory they made into an apartment building. The windows are amazing! ~Remy
Greta tank (bowl) and video. Love the Black Mangrove.
Love the idea for that tank! Thanks for sharing!
Great video, love the mangroves!
Merci pour cette vidéo 🙏 🙏🙏

The pvc diy is amazing. Would not have known.
OK, what light is that on the bowl?
S Aquastick???? can't find🙃
I'm having to re-invent the wheel w/ led on my ReefBowl and would love some help 🙂
The maker of the light is SR Aquaristik
This is incredible wow nicely done
Lovely work Tyler! I truly miss my lobster.. Inspiring for sure! Love the video, strong work Remy!
You need another! Watching these guys feed is awesome! ~Remy
@@ReefBuildersVideo it’s true… I need to go back to the Lobster side..
Cool habitat! What store did Tyler get the black mangrove from?
I think it was Mermaid's Reef? ~Remy
@@ReefBuildersVideo thank you.
@@ReefBuildersVideo yup that’s where I got it from!
Cool tank! I’d love to see the others

That is neat might have to try the pipe to create a cave
Hilarious when the lobster evicted the nassarius snail when it got too close to the entrance 😂

@Reef Builders , Thank you Windsor! I am sooo sorry for your loss, Sparky Mike
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice! 🤩👍 Those lobsters stay that size? 🤔
To my knowledge they don’t get much bigger than 4-5 inches. They’re more like crawfish in size unlike a full size lobster
@@inland_reef thank you! 👍
👍.
I was always told that fish bowls were too small to hold any livestock.

I feel like Reef Builders has down graded to being Bahama Llama…. not sure I’m liking this change
