I was shocked at how dark my damascus hunter went from just 1 hour in a strong coffee mix. I bought a full jar of Nescafe standard (mild roast) and just filled it with hot water not expecting anything at all. It came out super dark. I have a video of it on my channel.
@HarrisCustomCreations I put the beeswax and mineral oil in my tin, melt it in the oven on the lowest setting on a cookie sheet. Take it out, stir and let cool.

Thanks for sharing! How do you find they wear over time (assuming that those beautiful knives are used)?
@HokeForge some show wear more that others. In general the patina ads it'sneoncspecial look.
When you mix the bees wax and mineral oil, do you heat it up? What do you use, like a pot? Where do you get your tins?
