Welcome back! Sorry to hear about your illness and injury adventures of the last couple of months. I like how you cover a wide variety of design styles. As an idea for a future video, I think it would be interesting to dive into blue and white (particularly coming into spring and summer). It's such a classic, especially when chinoiserie is included, but also really versitile. Looking forward to more videos from you!
Hi Edith! Thank you so much for your well wishes🙏 I will be doing a video on either a Nantucket or Cape Cod Style- which of course are primarily blue & white. Would that interest you or should I stick to simply blue & white combinations? Do let me know your thoughts 💙
@@dantierandbalogh I think you should go with what you have planned already, and then maybe later you could look into a video that features blue and white and perhaps shows some of the ways it fits into many different design styles. Here in the States, it gets used in traditional Southern homes, more modern coastal styles along both the East and West Coasts, and both older and more contemporary (modern) interiors. I just think it's so versatile, almost anyone can find impactful ways to use it. It can also easily be adapted for different seasons as well. Keep up the great videos - I really appreciate them and how you present such a wide variety of design topics. Have a great week!
I recently came across the "Frutiger Aero" design style, and it looks so refreshing and retrofuturistic! It would probably be a great topic for a future video from this channel! As always, love your take on the different styles!
Hello Totoro 😁😁 *insert Ghibli emoji* Wow I just looked up Fruitger Aero and my mind is blown😳 I didn't realise this has become a style / aesthetic 😆 Thank you for your comment 🤗

Hi Ally! Thank you💗 Agree it's not to my taste either, however this style has completely inundated our shops here in the UK. Even in supermarket home decor aisles lol x
Glad you're doing better .Just found your channel and I can't believe the youtube algorithm took this long to get me here . I have started binge watching a lot of videos. I love how you break your style video's down, especially showing examples of furniture and decor, I've found it so confusing to know what design style furniture belong ,even when you find the original listing it's often vague and suggests it fits most styles. If you haven't already, I would love to see a video on modern Parisian style.
Definitely too crayon, candy colored, babyish looking for me. Surprised this is rocking the UK! But I appreciate your videos! Greetings from San Diego, California! 🌸🌷🌴🪺
I've seen this everywhere this Spring - you have absolutely nailed it! I'm trying so hard not to switch up my style midway through decorating my cottage. I love ALL the styles you've talked about so far 🍓🍓🍓
This style I've not heard of before reminds me of the 50's rockabilly era with a bit of early 60's thrown in, then taken to the extreme. I've seen a lot of those squiggly shaped mirrors lately. I think it's a fun cheerful style perhaps a result of the covid 19 lock downs and depression. Brighter colours are back in. A bit too much for me but I love some aspects of it. I love the fresh spring green colours. I'm sorry you've been ill Jacqueline. I can't eat mangoes anymore. I ate too many as a teen and now they make me 🤢 Knee injuries a a long recovery time. Take it slowly.
I like your take Sylvain (lockdown retaliation). I personally believe it to be the opposite to the beige minimalist style we're so used to! Sorry to hear you can't eat mangos either! I am ok usually with normal mangoes? It's so bizarre. Thank you for your well wishes 💗
I think this "aesthetic" works best in bathrooms and kitchens, where it's easier to go playful and lighthearted. I very much like the bathroom at 8:36 with the lavender scalloped sink and yellow framed mirror. However, for someone like myself who is old enough to remember the original iteration of those pink square tiles, they don't quite strike the tongue-in-cheek humor they're after. I find them horribly depressing, like a 50s house that never got an update. That said, I must add that I've missed you and I'm so glad you're back, fun and fabulous as ever! Happy Spring.
Hi Gina! 💗 I think you're right, the bathrooms are my favourite too. We had a turquoise bathroom (original 60s) suite in the old house🤣 we never updated it! It looked odd to us, however I think they're coming back into style, which makes us laugh! I personally like the pink bathrooms, as they're unique, however I would go down the art deco route with those 🤗 Thank you for your comment 💗
Sorry to hear about your illness. I'm glad you're back and congratulations on the milestone. This style is definitely not to my taste. So many things are competing for attention. There is a little too much "visual interest" with nothing to let my eyes rest. It leaves me overstimulated and ill at ease. There is one element I like and that is the mushroom lamp.
Depending on if it was served in a fruit tray or maybe she was eating it at a salad bar and if the person’s hands aren’t clean setting out the fruit then yeah she could get sick! Ecoli or Salmonella from people who don’t wash their hands when fixing food or serving fruit! Sorry she got sick but always remember to wash any fruit from the markets! I hope Jacqueline starts to feel better! Her curls look beautiful in this video❤
Thank you both💗 I am feeling much better now💗 It was actually from eating some dried mango in a bag!? I was shocked myself, but it was certainly from that! Needless to say that I am off mango for a while😅😅 Thanks for watching as always x
Glad you are feeling better. Congrats on the subscriber milestone.
Hi Sharon, thank you so much! Take care 💗

That style is like baby room decor. Too cutesy
🤣🤣🤣

Definitely too babyish. Reminds me of a movie set for a children's program! But thanks for the video. Always wonderful!

@dantierandbalogh Really? I haven't seen that in the US. Yet! Hey, if someone likes it, have at it! Love your videos. Thank you for the reply!!
So pretty !
I googled Danish folk art, and I see the parallels in color.
That's a great comparison bluebird 💙 thank you for your comment 🐦 xx

It's definitely the new trend in the UK lol, not sure who is buying it, but they must be 🤣🤣 Thank you Debra💗💗

Right!?! It really is in every shop over here! I hope the renovation is going well Nancy 💕🌹 You've achieved a lot more than us lol 🤣 🏡

I love the mushroom lamp & all of the scandinavian furniture :) thank you Iris 💗
Food poisoning from a mango how the heck 😮

Not Picasso. More like Monet, Renoir, Casat, and other impressionistic painters.
These are all lovely artists indeed🤍 I agree however picasso's line drawings are popular for this style
