You are absolutely right… there are way too many influencers pushing the wrong product for the wrong reasons… you and @oftenly seldom( Daniel) are my favorite reviewers. I got Complex( from Boadicea), and it turned me completely away from the brand.
It's interesting if you browse r/colognes, you can see that the majority of "collectors" all have the same colognes from the same brands, promoted by -- who else -- the "Free Bottle Brigade" 🤣 Salute for keeping it real o7
There is no amount of $ nor possessions that buy class. Some of the classiest men I've been fortunate to know came from humble farming communities and were good solid men who'd dress for dinner company and smelled great in their various colognes and aftershaves. I’ve smelled many of this line on trips to Paris and London. The only one I’ve ever smelled that I like is Nemer. Enough that I bought it for $175. I’d never consider anything at retail from the brand.
I’ve got about a dozen samples from this line, one of the worst lots of samples I’ve ever had to work through. Really don’t get this brand at any price point.
Keeping it honest, with no BS comedy skits (“let’s see what my blindfolded/ball gagged wife thinks of these scents!”), best/worst/most/least comparison vids or elongated box or bottle design yap yap. Refreshingly to the point.
I have a $600 bodicia the victorious and the hundred dollar clone I have of it smells identical, but it’s stronger. for $600 no company should be able to do that good of a job replicating it.
Since I was a teenager, I was & am repelled by braggadocios & arrogant behaviors. I gravitate to humble folks that exhibit an air of humility.... My apologies it's not a fragrance comment

I've smelled some from the brand, but only on the caps. One or two seemed quite interesting, but with the ridiculous pricing I'd never consider them as potential buys. Having said that, I recently encountered some lovely Ajmals priced at 500+ euros, and I'm starting to wonder what the hell is going on. I don't like this new-normal.
I collect the brand and YES they are overpriced and sometimes overrated the majority of their big hits are better versions of scents already created which is called……. You know I know haha.
