For me, Prores is the biggest upgrade in the 15 series.. so I definitely prefer 15 pro over 15 and I have seen samples.. I hate the extra sharpness and fake high dynamic range in smartphones videos and Prores log video solves that.. Prores and external recording are only things that got me excited about 15 series

before these phones were released on display at stores, i wanted to get the 15pro, but after checking them out and actually seeing them, i think the regular iphone15 looks and feels nicer and seems really good for everyday normal use. the natural titanium looks good on video but actually it looks like a tin can covered iphone. the yellow 15 though almost looks like gold and is nicer to look at IMO.

Super happy with my 15 Plus. Great size and battery life and I don't mind the 60 Hz display. Also the pastel color options are just gorgeous imo

‘Once you go 120 hz you cannot stand anything below that’. I am so much in agreement to your point. I have the 13 pro and my niece got the 14. Honestly I couldn’t tell the difference when I used them individually. People are just so hung up on numbers and reviews. Spot on review and in agreement to every point you said. Keep up the excellent relevant reviews!
I disabled 120 hz in preparation to buying 15 Plus and it felt annoying and laggy for the first 10minutes. The hours of extra battery life is way better than the smooth feeling of 120 hz. If I ever have a high hertz phone again im disabling the 120 hz to get extra battery life and an overall colder/cooler phone.

15 plus is the best value for money. I migrated from Android and 15 plus is my 1st iphone. Totally worth it. Huge battery and great camera
This year, iphone 15 pro doesn't make any sense in India. Iphone 15 is a really good upgrade, even from 14 (Display, processor, cameras, USB-C). This feels like a bigger yearly jump when compared to the pro series.
I have Macbook pro that has pro-motion and i know this coz i looked into the spec, not due to daily usage. And ios in general is really smooth, so having 120 HZ is great but extra cost is just way too much. I am upgrading from 11 to 15 plus and just waiting for my order to arrive.

Really good video! I create content and I love my phones! For me the regular iPhone does enough and I won't have to worry about the overheating. It's not worth an extra $200 or $400 for the extra zoom. It would be nice, but not worth the extra cost. Even as a content creator I don't see myself needing ProRes Log. So for me the only decision left is do I get Black? or Blue?

I actually went from an iPhone 13 PM to 15 Plus, really enjoying the super lightweight form factor and the 60 hz screen hasn’t bothered me a bit due to brilliant iOS optimisation.
15 plus is the first non pro which seems perfect in feel in hand and aesthetics too. If only the refresh rate was better.

I’ve been saying for a while. If you don’t need a pro (NEEED a high end camera or a huge battery) then you can just get a regular phone. But so many people are brainwashed by RUclipsrs who have the money to afford every pro max that comes out every year

I have both Samsung and iPhone am on iPhone 13 as because that’s my 1st one bought last year, should I upgrade to iPhone 15 plus as I need good battery for requirement of long calls and do consume a lot of you tube content . On Samsung I am on s21+, planning to buy s24 ultra for its camera (photos and spen). So need suggest if I should upgrade to iPhone 15 plus or get this 13’s battery changed
What’s the battery health of the phone? If you think it’s above 90% then it’s better to upgrade the phone. If the battery health is around 85% then upgrading battery should help.

Actually, the "Once you get used to 120Hz, you can't go back to 60Hz" is really really true. I'm not sure why you're saying that though. Yes, You use it for a month, you will get used to it, but isn't that the case for anything in the world!

The aperture on the regular 15 is bigger f/1.6 vs f/1.8 so it makes a difference I think and the sensor size is really good on both the phones and the regular iPhone having stacked sony sensor which is lacking on the pro's

@@kimcruz3889 I think in the quality both are Same but if you will talk about hardware it is a new technology using a stacked sensor which is on regular iPhone 15 that’s more then enough same tech and sensor is sony using in sony mark 5 smartphone
iPhone 14 camera result better than 15 though 12MP. f/1.5 makes better night photography than 15.

yes and no.
If you like dynamic island, use your phone without a case and take a lot of pictures everyday then yes else no.
Because the overall experience will be the same.
I have the 12 pro and have had so many issues (WIFI/Bluetooth don't work) so I am considering the 15. Would you stay at a pro model if you were upgrading or go down to the 15? I do really like the neutrals of the 15 pro but am scared I will run into the same issues I have with my 12 pro eventually.
12 pro to 15 will be a good upgrade. And the battery life is also better on regular 15. And the wifi/bt issue, it can happen on any phone so you can’t predict.
After using 120hz in samsung s21, i bought iPhone 13. Man the scrolling experience sucks in 60hz. I sold it in 5 days ...120hz s soo much better and every user who pays that level of money should get it. Its not whether they care or not...No one will find it worse anyway. I’m that type of person that notices refresh rate. For that reason I would not get the regular 15. If apple made at least a 90 refresh rate on the 15 I would consider.

They are more or less same. Just like last year.
I wish somebody would do a deeper dive on comparisons between the phones in low light. Specifically, indoors living room at night kind of lighting. That's how I'll be taking a lot of pictures and videos, and I would really like to know how much better the Pro is at that task. I was hoping for a significant bump in improvement, but I'm getting the feeling that it isn't much better at all - like maybe a 5 - 10% different, if that.

My 11 pro died a month ago, so I’m currently using a old 6s, I’m stuck as to whether to get the 15 or 15 pro. I like the features of the pro models. Or do I go for a year old 14 pro? Money wise, the 14 is more in my price range but I really like the 15’s.
I would recommend going for 15 series. If you are planning to use it for long time and you use camera. USB-C is another advantage.
Apple have hit it out of the park this time. Maybe the only thing to nitpick about is a 90hz refresh rate.

Hey, you mentioned about 90 mins more battery on 15 vs pro, but does it mean that 15 pro doesnt last for a soild day? I really wanted the pro model for always on display but normal size (non max/plus). Will 15 pro last atleast a full solid day outside on 4G(no gaming, but social media/calls/camera for pictures mostly)?

I wouldn’t recommend S23 ultra mainly because of size jump. I would definitely recommend iPhone 15 Pro. Or just go for regular S23.

you said there's an advantage to iphone 15 pro in low light but in your shot of the car with the sign in the back the regular iphone 15 wins hands down. Weird. The sign is so much clearer and everything is lit up better.
Excellent video and very thoughtful on the differences and similarities. I bought the Pro Max and returned it for the Plus and I’m very happy (I’m in the US). I thought I wanted the pro, but I noticed that beautiful 15 Plus when I picked up my phone and started doing research. That’s when I realized it basically a 14 pro in a lighter and IMO prettier package. I did bump up my storage, because I generally keep my phones 3-4 years, but it just didn’t make sense to pay the extra money. Also, I don’t see the difference between the 120 and 60 hertz screen either. I can tell the difference, but it is not important to me. If you aren’t looking at them side by side, it’s not even something one will notice.
That someone has to show the difference between 60hz n 120hz in slow motion tells u everything u need to know about perceived smoothness in real life.
Facts, I'm gonna go with the 15 plus too. It's a complete package

They are basically similar cameras. The only thing pro has is OIS in the front camera.

No issues whatsoever. There were some issues in starting because iOS 17 had some issues. They were fixed in the first month.

The telephoto on the Pro means everything. Although it's only 3x, the difference is drastic, mostly noticeable in videos.

I have recently switched back to ios after a long gap from an era of Iphone 4 and 5s user, I got Phone 15 and one thing i notice is if I reboot the phone it looses 2-3% of charge. Is it normal? as I haven't encountered these on my earlier android which i was using.
No its not but why are you rebooting? also which % are we talking about? if it is between 90-100% its possible as iOS updates those % slower as compared to rest levels

yes but it will be slow. Pro max supports around 30w charging so you can get a better pd charger.

I have moved from s23 with 120hz display to 15plus…. I don’t see 60hz is a major issue…. I didn’t face any issue with s23 but I had a watch ultra and AirPods and mac…. So I switched back to iPhone

Bro i consider u as one of my fav Indian youtuber, for first time i differ with you, i upgraded from 14 pro to 15 pro and iam very happy, my sister got a 15 but I don't enjoy that much , it feels less premium with inferior aluminium, and iam facing no heating issues or scratches ( I have natural titanium) as the whole RUclips is crying after that Jerry's shitty video. Mr whosetheboss is also not facing any issues with his 15 pro.

All I am trying to say only because of it we can’t say the phone isn’t worth it. It still has one of the best performance, camera, battery for the size and a great ecosystem in this price. Also it’s not the comparison between Android vs iPhone like I said its Apple vs Apple. When I will compare it with Android phone ill mention that.
