The app is called “Can I Fly Here” it is the official CASA app. It lists Manly as a zone in which you can fly but if you become awhere of an aircraft you have to land. A lot of Sydney is like that, there are a few absolute no fly zones, but plenty of places you can still fly
Francis, I really like those night shots on the water around 5:50. Some really nice stuff in there. Keep up the great work!!
You two guys are looking so relaxed and happy! I’m hoping to buy a Spark soon. My first drone as can’t quite stretch to an Air. Looking forward to posting some vids. Cheers for the inspiration.
Wow!! Great Video!
You could have flown Manly Beach, i was there last week flying :) Apps Called "open Sky" now days
Ooh, Manly's kind of my old backyard (I'm from a few beaches north of it). Makes me feel homesick. :)
Hi man, thank you for inviting us to these beautiful places.
Thank you bro :)
Sydney is so beautiful, I have been there two years ago and it was so great!
I love Sydney
Just got back from Sydney. Flew my drone a bit while there.
When we were in Sydney in November we were having an evening meal in circular key on the harbour. One of those restaurants near the opera house (italian)and someone was flying a drone by the Bridge. I didn't have a drone then.
Some people just do not give a shh
I'm glad you guys respect the no flight zones! Sucks though eh.. some places would look amazing. Granted you can apply for commercial permits in some no-fly zones :) such as here in Canada.
beautiful

Cool night shots! Perhaps use a centre focus when vlogging, that way the camera doesn't focus on the background that much... Cheers!
it's winter brow...should come january soooo hottt
Hi Francis I have a question if you would answer. I wanna go and visit Sydney with my wife do you have any suggestions on where can we stay? We never bèen in hostel but if is a nice and clean why not. Thanks in advance
It is a Swiss app, created in cooperation with the CAA. It is definitely covering AUS, NZ, CH etc, aiming at world wide coverage. Free download for iOS. Check it!
I just saw you today in george st. Sydney:)
Are you the guy I spoke to? :)
Any issues getting your drone into oz?
Manley, been there!
have you heard that there is an ability to do colour edditing?)
Have you used the transport system in Singapore? Because that is cheap!
No! But we will very soon :)
👍 brilliant vlog
No way you watch the entire thing already
Joshua Reyes not quite watched a quater or so then had to charge phone lol
Can I fly there
Proper Job
YES!!!!
Come to Jakarta Indonesia bro.. :)
Can you remember the name of the app? Anyone else know it? Getting my spark soon for my Australia trip...
yeah, called "can I fly there", u can get it for both iOS and andriod for free, it's made by the AU government. You wouldn't be happy when u see the map btw, LOL.
I'm headed there in June... Don't go breaking my heart.
download that on ur phone now and u might wanna consider the idea of bringing the drone to here again.XD, Nah just kidding, but u gotta know how difficult it is to fly a drone in SYD and MEL, really
I'm still a very conservative flyer as I'm still new to all of this. I mainly fly up, take photos and come back down. lol I've already had a close call with crashing into water: ruclips.net/video/17IRxYFD7so/видео.html The drone was big investment, not really looking forward to losing it. I'll download the app and plan accordingly. We are going to be on a guided tour, with only a few days of exploring. If the tour guide isn't too keen on a drone I doubt I even get to try it for more than a photo of our group. But good to know about the app. I'll be checking it out soon.
ZHETAO LU thanks mate
I just want to help ;). Drone areamap :
www.dji.com/de/mobile/flysafe/geo-map
Loving the new content. New Zealand and aus are amazing. Jess say no To VERTICLE Video. It just isn't viewable on tv or tablets moniters afterward. Still love ya CHEERS
The focus was even worse in this video than the last one. Do you have a screen that folds forward you can check focus on? Maybe set a manual focus to work at arms length?
drone laws in AU is annoying, if you download the "can i fly there" app, you can see that almost all the places that travlers go, drons are not allowed (even in the blue mountains)
Proper rubbish that is. (Is that English enough for you Francis? lol)
Well you cant film near the Three sisters! But you can film at Wentworth falls :)
Loud and clear :|
Oh really? Only been to the three sisters, never been to the Wentworth falls, might check that out tmr since I'm on my holiday, XD . Thanks for the information
Video starts at 3:15
The reason you couldn't fly in manly is because of the hospital helipad up the road... Which is closing soon.
australia hates drones
. is a shame.. am surprised how u flew ur drone in brisbane perhaps u didnt have the app at that time. ...here in melbourne is the same..u need to go the rural areas.. if u wanna fly. anyway prople still fly drones because they dont know the rules..
Or one of your best videos mate. Seemed like you lacked any real quality content to film or talk about.
There’s been so many fatalities and injuries caused by those DJI drones they should be banned all over the 🌎. So glad you didn’t fly, you probably saved a life or two. Great video btw!
You have evidence to back this claim up ??
Source? Stop watching fake news.
Fucking idiot.
@@rod1575 I think it was attempted sarcasm given that the author has had. thousands of harmless fpv flights.
