🌈🐕RIP Kody🐕🌈 peace and love be with you and your family, Olivia, during this time of grief
I had two senior dogs pass this past year but I’m now in a place where I can laugh in their honor. Gracie was the dopiest dog ever. Pure joy. No thoughts - just good vibes. She used to be a street dog and never lost the habit of hoarding things in her bed so we would regularly have to shake out her bed and blankets and find pieces of junk mail, bits of food wrappers, rocks, etc that she was hiding away in case she ever needed a snack 🤦♀️ Bella was 17 and had dementia in the end but somehow was still in charge of the house. She was blind and a fraction of Gracie’s size but ruled with an iron fist and we all followed her rules. Gracie was terrified of that grumpy grandma.
I'm in a similar situation. I lost 3 seniors in less than a year, all small rescue dogs, all so different. Willie, tiny black toy poodle, liver cancer, Moppy, Maltese poodle with a horrible heart murmur, and Jer, a very grumpy old chi, that ruled everyone including me! Blind, almost deaf, a nasty little bugger 😂. He was almost 18. I can finally smile remembering them. Hug to you for your losses. Lynn in Phoenix 🌵 ❤
🐕🐕🦺 RIP Kody, sending you lots of love during this difficult time. Your videos are like a warm cup of tea, thank you for all that you do ❤
I would love a Gothic literature video. In case you need a laugh today, my elder Maltese forgot that he shouldn't poo and then sit in it. That isn't funny, but him trying to bite me with his 3 remaining teeth while I give him a bath is hilarious. Lots of hugs for you 🐕🐕🐕
I would love a Gothic literature video! I also have been wanting to do a Dracula re-read. I love Dracula so much. As for pet stuff, my dog, Winston is currently asleep on the couch in his fuzzy penguin jammies and he always watches your videos with me. There's something about your voice that relaxes and enchants him. You are his favourite RUclipsr. He never pays attention to the telly, but whenever you're on, he will stare at the TV until he eventually falls asleep. Lots and lots of love to you and your family. 🐕🐕🐕
I'm so sorry Olivia
My heart hurts so much for you, Olivia 😢 Animals are family, and the grief that comes with losing them can be devastating. I’m sending you lots of love during this time ❤️🐕 I have one dog (Hank) and two cats (Moxie and Rockford), and currently four foster kittens! We keep a small notebook documenting all of the things Moxie has destroyed over the last four years 😂 everything from books, blinds, numerous phone chargers, shoelaces, etc. But the funniest moment was when he completely chewed through the cord of my headphones while I was listening to a guided meditation 🤣 That’s when I switched to wireless!
Thanks for reminding me that I need to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone! It’s been on my shelf for ages. I’m keeping you in my thoughts, and I’m wishing you better weeks ahead! I can’t thank you enough for your transparency and these vlogs - they help to remind me that I’m not alone! ❤️❤️❤️
Im so sorry abt your dog Liv. Its really fucking hard losing a beloved pet. I had to put down my 15 year old cat in 2014 and im still sad about it and think about him often.
But hey, they were truly loved amd had a very happy life, and im sure theyre having an awesome time wherever they are rn ❤
I'm so sorry for your loss Olivia, it's such a hard one to lose our furry family members. ❤
I'm sorry for your lost Liv. Right after you posted about the lost of your childhood dog my cat Jasper shredded the pages my Fourth Wing book. Stupid me left it open on my bed and he saw an opportunity to play. The one with the pretty sprayed edges you can't find anymore. I couldn't even be mad at him. My husband said well we will always have a memory of Jasper because I'm not throwing the book away because he shredded the pages inside.🐕🐶
I also have 2 female cats Alice and Bella. Yes as you can see my cats are named after Twilight characters! They are all 9 years old!
Since I got off all all social media but RUclips and Discord I have been enjoying books and reading much more. You inspired me to get away from social media and my mental health is so much better!
Im sorry for your loss 🐕🦺 Losing a beloved life long pet is hard. I tell my kids when they ask why dogs don’t live long “It’s because they love so much and give us their all, that their bodies aren’t strong enough to hold it all . That’s why they are so special” ❤
So sorry for your loss 🌈🐕🐾
I have a weiner dog beagle mix named weenie. She just turned 10 and still acts like a puppy. She has a personality larger than any other dog I know. When my husband used to go away for work she would chew his things when he came back, fit bits, notebooks, pens... anything she could get to and only right after he got back. When I changed my work schedule she got into a bottle of Tylenol and ate an entire loaf of 12 grain bread. She was fine but I couldn't go to work because we were at the vet all afternoon. Dogs are the funniest and most loveliest creatures. Our time with them is so special ❤
Love the idea of a gothic literature focused video ❤
As a lover of the blood grace series, I recommend going back to it. Blood Solace was perfection
🐕 so sorry to hear about your loss 💔 me and my cats Ollie and Nellie send you our love! one of my favorite stories to tell about my cats is when Ollie was a kitten, he ate a stink bug and was so visibly upset/disgusted by it that we gave him barbecue sauce to get rid of the taste…which weirdly worked
hi Olivia! I’m sorry for your loss 💜 my family lost our dog alf last year and it was really difficult. He was a handsome handsome black labradoodle and he was recognised all over our small town. The taxi person used to keep big dog biscuits in their car for him whenever he went by on his walk. It’s really shit and I miss him a lot but he had cancer and a recurrent infection and he was old and just couldn’t do it anymore. I feel better knowing he was too poorly to be here anymore and that he was pleased we were all around for him. it’s hard to be sad but it’ll ease 💜💜💜 (this video kept me company on a day I’ve been feeling low, so thank you🫶🏻)
🐕🦺🐕🦺🐕🦺 First off I’m so sorry for your loss Liv. It’s always so hard to loose a pet, especially your childhood one.
We have a Dalmatian named Max, a Maltipoo named Ginger, and a Maine Coon named Chloe. My mom (who passed away 2 years ago) named Ginger so she has an extra special place in my heart. ❤ I recently started watching your channel and became a patron. Im loving your content! Also yes to the Gothic lit video!! Hope you feel better soon!
so sorry for your loss Liv 🌈🐾🐕🦺 sending love and peace - we had a cat named Cozmo. Cute, friendly little orange cat but not the brightest crayon. One morning I heard my sister scream in the bathroom. Lil guy was trying to hop from the floor to the toilette so he could hop onto the counter. EXCEPT the toilet seat was up and he ended up bathing in the toilet. Learned and never jumped that way ever again.
“Life is alot” so accurate… sorry for your loss 🩷
Thank you very much. It is definitely a lot sometimes haha 🖤
🐕 i am so sorry for your loss. ❤ growing up, i also had a black dog. He was my bestfriend, my twin, my world. I lost him when i was 14, and i always think about him. I know he is proud of the young woman i am now, and that he would like my cats. ❤❤❤❤
I’m so sorry to hear about your childhood doggy ❤ I have a Virginia, Gin for short. She’s been with me since 2013. We’ve lived in Va, Pa, back to Va, In, back to Va again 😂 one of the coolest things after becoming a mom is watching her and my kids interact with each other. They’re so loving towards each other. Gin has seen me crazy single, married, and now momming. I’m scared when the day comes that I might have to make that decision. Much love to you Olivia ❤❤❤
The Gothic Lit video sounds amazing ♡
So sorry to hear about Kody, I know its never easy to lose a pet 🐕
We used to have two little malteser dogs called Lilo and Stitch, they were best friends and when Stitch died Lilo was visibly depressed. We got a new puppy (Bruno) two weeks after Stitch unexpectedly passed and Lilo has been such a great companion to him now. She has grown up a lot since Bruno came home but my family are so happy they love each other.
Rest in peace, little Kody ♥️
Our family dog Spike died just short of his 16th birthday earlier this year.
And then there‘s my Dio, he was my soul mate. He’s long gone now but I think of him every day. He was a rescue Rottweiler and the sweetest and most intelligent dog I’ve ever met. There‘ll never be another one like him ♥️
Also, I love the fruity notebooks 🍋 🥝 🍑
The cover artist for those new editions of Mistborn is local to me. I work in a bookstore on a little Main Street and our friend at the coffee shop told us he comes in regularly! His kids’ names are in the artwork on the covers. You’re right-they are so fantastically floppy! I’ve bought the first, but haven’t read it yet. 😬
i have a REALLY happy seven year old shihtzu, if she sees you in the streets and you look at her direction she’s already jumping on you asking for scratches and if she really likes you she’ll get belly up ready for those belly scratches. she wags her tail at any and everyone and gets so excited when people come to visit (even if it’s delivery people). so in a shell she’s a happy loving pup who will never leave you needy cuz this girl has love for EVERYONE. she sends you her love, and so do i.
Im sorry about your pet friend. Its hard when they go. Hoping soon you can have memories that make you laugh.
I've got a chihuahua, she's a rescue from an abusive home. Her name is Princess. Girl doesnt have a thought in her heard at all, no teeth removed due to neglect), tongue hangs out all day every day. Ive had her for a little over a year now and every day she makes new strides to just be a dog. The other day she actually played with me. Like grumbling little growls, mouth open, paws everywhere, jumping around kind of playing. It was so sweet to see!
Ho Olivia. My condolences to you and your family. 🤗 watching anything and everything youve posted due to depression and anxiety after loosing 3 dogs in less than a year. Ive adopted 2 labradoodles from a horrible backyard breeder that our county refuses to shut down. Even with my beautiful additions, Im still grieving my 3 old dogs, 12, 9, and just shy of 18. Thank you for keeping it real.Lynn, Jakes #1 fan girl in Phoenix 🌵
Sorry for your loss❤my childhood dog passed over 10 years ago and my parents just recently felt ready to get another furry friend. Moo is a rescue and she truly is the sweetest.🐾
Omg Moo! That's too cute!
I have two dogs, a grumpy 11 year old chiweenie, and a 3 year old husky mix. They are quite the pair! I have lost my childhood dog as well, so I completely understand. Love on the ones you have, they love you too!
So sorry for your loss Olivia ❤️ Losing animals is so hard. So I have a funny story to share not about my dog, but about my aunt’s border collie and husky mix, Rudder. One time, we were in our basement which had sliding glass doors, and Rudder thought they were open when they weren’t. He literally RAN towards them at full speed from the basement entryway and we were all screaming at him to stop but he didn’t, and he ran into the doors 😂 It was the funniest thing ever. He’s since passed, but he was the sweetest dog. He was super smart and acted like a cat sometimes, and did NOT like to share anything, including the backseat of cars. We went to the beach one time and our other two dogs had like no room, lol! Sending lots of love and good vibes ❤
My dog is named Cupcake- she’s a 90 pound black lab, and she’s a doofus and my family loves her so much! She isn’t trained too well, but when she was a puppy we did manage to train her to unwrap Christmas presents. Each Christmas she gets her toys wrapped and she unwraps them and it’s so flipping cute. Wishing you all the love and gentleness you can get! I’m so sorry for you and your loved ones!
I can tell you of my families pet a little fox terrier called Deefa who used to bring home a rabbit to my mum once a week, as a treat. She was a real little hunter and loved to go with the brothers over to their dam where they would ride their bikes. Deefa could sing, you'd start singing and she'd lift up her head and sing with you. I grew up with a number of dogs but Deefa was my favourite and we were all upset when she passed away but she had become an old lady by then.
Sending you lots of love and hugs 🐈⬛🐕 I lost my childhood dog last summer and it’s a hard thing to go thru so I’m sending all the kind thoughts and vibes your way ❤️
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad you got to say goodbye to Kody. My pup passed away a year and a half ago and I didn't get to say goodbye. Sending you love. May your memories bring you comfort during this sad time. 🌈🦮🐕🦺🐶
I'm so sorry for you loss. My baby🐕 Bonnie was my reason for getting out of bed in the morning and the reason I survived severe depression in my teen years. Sometimes at night I can still feel the weight of her spirit jump onto the foot of my bed. The grief of losing a childhood pet is indescribably painful. I'm so happy you have Jake and Ginger. They seem to know how much you love them and need them at this time. Sending love and healing thoughts 💙 ❤
A funny animal anecdote from rainy Wales... one of my chickens stowed away in the horse trailer and ended up running around at my friend's house an hour away. I then had to go on a rescue mission to catch the little monster. She also taps the door if I'm late with dinner 🐔 I am merely an animal butler and I wouldn't have it any other way 😂 I have horses, dogs, cats, chickens and two accidentally sheep (one turned up and promptly had a lamb 🙈) My animals have got me through some really tough times ❤
🐕 Sorry for your loss. We had 1 dog, while growing up. I was 10 when we got her. I always said she was my sister. She slept in my bed, even pushed me off of it in the middle of the night more than once, I was sharing my food with her, shared a beer once. She kept me out of depression because she insisited I walked her in the woods everyday. I think of her everytime I go, now. She was the best for finding wild strawberries too but we had to be quick if we wanted to get some too 😂. I tend to sit in my emotions and what help is setting a timer and deciding on how long I will stay in them and when the timer goes, it's time to get out of it and do something. Take care. ❤
I like the timer idea a lot. It’s like the pomodoro study method, but for feeling our feels. I may try that out. 💛
@@oliviareadsalatte It's great for moments when I feel like I'm gonna get stuck in them, but need to let them happen at the same time.
🐕 ❤ sorry for your loss. My dog is getting up there in age and having trouble walking. I cherish every day with him.
I’m so sorry for your loss, Olivia 😔 I’ve put two of my doggies to sleep, and it is the hardest sh!t ever.
I'm so sorry about your puppy Liv. We had to do ours almost a year ago now and i still have a hard time with it. She was a rescue and was up there in years so we only had her about 5 years but she was the love of my life. We're getting a new one tomorrow that needs a new home so even though it isnt the same and she obviously cant be replaced im hoping itll help fill the hole a little. Im glad you have your children to love and help you through it
They can never replace, you’re so right, but it’s like adding another to the family and does help with that grief for sure. I’m so excited for you!!
Love the raw real and long vlogs ❤️
love rachel! and would also love that gothic literature video 'cause that's literallyy my fave genre. sending you love and good vibes and so proud of you for pushing through and continuing to vlog despite it all 'cause i've been there 🐕❤🩹
I'm sorry to hear about your puppy. 💓💞
🐕🦺Sorry for the loss of your childhood dog. It’s been 10 years since I lost my dog and still miss him. He loved chewing on my books but I couldn’t get mad at him for it.
I totally understand, I’d probably cherish those books for the memory 🐕🖤
I’m so sorry for your loss, we just put my childhood dog to sleep this past year and it was especially hard since my spouse was on a work trip. It’s comforting to know they are in a better place where they can play with all the toys and have as many puppichinos. My girl love her puppichinos and knew when we went to Starbucks that she was getting one and would even start doing little howls.
Can you do a Percy Jackson readathon or read along with patrons?? I missed my chance to read it while I was in middle school and I don’t wanna read it alone!
So sorry for your loss 🐕 ❤
I think black hair would look hella good on you! I wanted to go black for so long but didn’t because I thought it would look weird cuz I’m so pale but then I went wild and did it last year and I LOVED it. It was hella cute and my skin is like the same shade as yours. You should do it
The last of my childhood dogs died a few months ago. It's definitely a very hard thing to go through. I'm very sorry for your loss ❤️
So sorry for your loss Liv! 🐕🦺🌈
Another fantastic vlog, thank you for just being you.
Also, I’m so here for this gothic literature video. 🖤
So sorry for your loss - they are family. In April the second of our two dogs crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Ryker was a Shepherd Akita; he was 15 so we knew it was going to happen sooner rather than later. Coda, a black Lab/Reservation dog, passed in December; he was 13 and had medical issues. We'd had them 12 years. They were my boys. We wanted Ryker to have all our attention for his remaining time after Coda was gone since so much was devoted to Coda's issues. Ryker crossed the first Tuesday in April. On that Saturday, we rescued Keo, our Akita. We hadn't intended to that day but the owner handed over his leash and said here, he's free. We didn't know Keo also had medical issues - Cushing's Disease from being on steroids most of his life (he's 3). He looked like a plucked chicken and had muscle loss and sores/bumps all over his body. Under the vet's care, we weened him off the steroids (he's allergic to chicken it is believed), got him on thyroid meds and feed him hamburger (actually on par with special dog food cost-wise so why not the real thing?). I believe we saved his life. He's healthy now, 105+ pounds, and my baby. I wish I could attach a photo. :) Quick note, skin care related, I'm older now than having those kinds of bothers, but when I did, I decided to treat my skin as healthy, not sick and needing chemicals, and washed my face with plain yogurt. It worked. (shrug). 🐕🦺One of the books I'm currently reading is Magnolia Parks for GarbAugust. I have opinions.
Audiobook recommendation: The Dresden Files read by James Marsters. Holy moly. And there's 17 books in the series plus 3 point fives. :)
So sorry about your dog 💔 my childhood dog had to be put down about a month ago and my heart goes out to you! Sending you good vibes and happy thoughts
I’m so sorry for your loss 🖤🐕
My three childhood dogs all passed away within a year and a half, so I understand how your feeling. I still get sad when I think about them being gone, but thinking about all the amazing times I had with them makes it a bit easier ❤ I’m so sorry for your loss! 💞
Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry, that is so hard. It definitely helps to think about the amazing life they got to have and we got to be a part of though, you’re very right 💛
Im so sorry for your loss, Olivia ❤🐕
Here to tell you about my lil pet: I have a black cat, he's 1 year and a month old, he's called Timmy and he's a menace. He loves stealing from our neighbors and everything salmon lol. Also I'm 23 and he's my first pet ever and I love him with all my heart
I have three goober dogs named Lily, Dobby, and Felix. They are the goofiest hams on the face of the planet and their love for each other is so incredible to see. They all have funny voices, and they all know how to press buttons to communicate!
Oh. My. God. I think dogs pressing buttons to talk is the coolest freaking thing. I’m so impressed by it!!
Olivia is the friend you message throughout the day for the commentary alone 😆
Olivia, add curl foam (it's like the foam soap version of gel) to your towel dried but wet hair, and distribute it evenly by brushing it thru your hair. Then let it air or blow dry until it is about 85-90% dry. THEN do your braid and keep it braided until it is 100% dry. Use a blow dryer on the braid before you take it out if you need to make sure it's dry. And then fluff it out per usual and it will hold all day! Or longer! To preserve overnight, do a loose pony on the top of your head and throw your hair over your pillow to avoid sleeping on top of it and you might be able to wear it 2 or 3 days in a row. The key is to make sure it is 100% dry before you take out the braid.
Thank you!!! I screenshotted this and I’m going to try and find some to try. Do you have a recommendation on what brand or anything?
@@oliviareadsalatte Not Your Mother's and Maui Moisture work great and are affordable. Usually at Walmart and Target!
So sorry for your loss, Olivia. Take all the time you need to recover. It’s never easy ❤
I'm so sorry for your loss 🤗 Animal family members leave pawprints on our hearts that never fade. All the grief is worth it for the love they bring 🐕 xx
Hi Olivia , I know this is late but 2 weeks ago we had to put to sleep my dog and I understand you so much. I honestly think you are pretty awesome posting in such a hard time and I virtualy give you a hug.
Well to the funny story , my dog was funny a lot of the times but the most funny memory is that he ate a whole fish that it was defrosting outside. It did not have the thorns, but my mom was furios and it was so funny because he normally did not did those types of things. 🐕
Cross stitching is my OG hobby and I love it so much. You can RUclips EVERY and ANY stitch you need!
I have two kitties! One is orange with white feet and her name is Hallow (yes, short for Halloween). The other is a tuxedo kitty and her name is Binxie (yes, named after Binx from Hocus Pocus).
I'm so sorry for your loss. 🦮 I only have the one cat, and she is... a character. She loves to lay on me, but she will only do so if I'm under a blanket. If I flop down on the bed to read but DON'T get under the blanket, she will jump up on the bed, sit four inches from me on the bed and just stare and purr loudly in my direction until I get under the covers. I usually give in first, BUT I felt so victorious the one time she gave in and got on me without a cover on top. I think it only happened because I was wearing a very fluffy, cozy sweater at the time, and she was like, "Ehhhh, close enough..."
I am so sorry for your loss. I appreciate you being so honest and raw about loss. Its not easy but it is always a comfort to see others speak about loss. You are not alone ❤❤ 🐕🐕
I'm so sorry to hear about your pup and we are all here for you sending love and support 🌈🐕❤ I have a dog named Penny (she's a terrier mix and the best girl) and three cats! They're all senior ladies - it's like a little nursing home here. Gir, Tuna and Boo Boo. They are just as vocal as Ginger! Always screaming at me! 🫠and my boy Lil Curtis (Boo's brother) was my handsome boy who passed back in September 🫶 and HELL YES! to the gothic lit video! I would love that!
Thank you so much. I love that you have a little nursing home going on! Senior cats are so vocal, I love it! 🐈
sending love and huggs ❤ so sorry for your loss 🐕
I’m so sorry about Kody, Olivia! Franny, our dog, has been a part of our family since my boys (who are 14, 16, and 18) were little. They were all rambly, cuddly little puppies together! She’s slept in their beds, played in fields, gone on long walks, comforted them when they were upset (especially when we all mourned the death of our cat, Hattie). She’s loved us and we’ve loved her so deeply. I dread the day she is no longer with us. My heart goes out to you and your family. ❤ 🐕
Watching the bookmark section right now - PMDstickers has a tonnn of unique pet stickers to choose from if you want your pets as stickers in your planner or anywhere else! I have so many of her stickers.
I'm so sorry about your dog... I had to put my cat down about a month ago so I understand. And I agree that sitting IN your emotions and wallowing probably isn't healthy. As someone with anxiety who gets very overwhelmed by stuff, I also have to just keep going and doing stuff while processing in my own time because otherwise I will just... stop. Like completely. I'll stop living and just sit there freaking out for days and I become someone other than myself. So yeah, I get it. 🐶
Much love to you right now Olivia ❤🐕🦺
I've got a black pitbull/blue heeler mix puppy named Eevee and two cats - Saturn (grey and white) and Indigo (tuxedo). Eevee likes to do a silly thing when she gets zoomies at night by digging herself into the couch cushions until she gets exhausted or ends up stuck under the cushions. Saturn and Indigo love watching birds and squirrels outside the window and will try and follow them from window to window throughout the house when they fly/run out of sight.❤
I’m so sorry for your loss 💔 I’m hoping and praying for some calm and peace for you and your family right now.
I got a “my dog is aging and I’m struggling with it puppy” at the end of June. Merlin is my Boston Terrier and I love him to death. He’ll be 10 this year and I’m not handling it all that well, tbh. Clover is the new pup and she’s so damn adorable (floofy white, similar to a Bichon). So far, they get along well. Merlin keeps trying to play with Clover, but he’s so intense that she’s super hesitant to actually play. But, when he isn’t playing, she runs up to him and barks in his face. It’s amazing 😂 Merlin has RBF: resting Boston face
Sending you so much love. Losing a fur baby is never easy. Grieving is okay. It's okay to chill. ❤❤❤
🐶🐕 So sorry for your loss. Losing a dag is like losing a child. Wish you and your fam a lot of strength.
So so sorry for your loss Olivia❤ It is never easy losing a furbaby! Lovely that you got to be there with him❤️ Sending you lots of love🥰
🐶 🐕 a Dowry of Blood is such a good Goth book.
I have a cat my daughter named mochi. I swear that cat stresses me out.. but even tho he runs away and comes home with half a tail and a lazy eye. He still comes home and manages to piss me off. But I'd rather that than not have him at all. Love you mochi even tho now u look goofy with the lazy eye u piss me off with laughter at the end.❤
Mochi and I are rocking these lazy eyes tho 😂🙌🏼👁️
Whenever I would sit on the ground, my Bassett Hound (His name was Flash) used to think my braid was a rope toy and he would drag me all around the house by my hair and no one would help me because they were laughing too hard!
🐕🐕I'm so sorry about Kody. Sending lots of good thoughts and vibes to you. For the funny story, one of our dogs (which is a big boy, probably a little bit bigger than Jake) likes to randomly sleep completely upside down. Like paws in the air, teeth showing because his lips fall, just completely straight upside down. Usually in the middle of floor too. Why. lol
I have those editions of Mistborn and I love them! So floppy and delightful!
I am so sorry for your loss 🐕🦺🦮. I have two babies my older needy girl is Sasha and my second child is baby Panda ( turning 6 next month) . I don’t have cats but love them I volunteer to help cats in need. My fur babies are my entire world ❤.
Always making Tuesday a day I look forward to! I’m so sorry for your loss and am sending love your way 💕
so sorry for your loss olivia!!!! sending a hug your way 🤍
Thank you so much 🫶🏻🖤
I came here to watch one of your old vlogs which I've been binge watching and saw a new one. Yayyyy😍😍😍
I had a four pound yorkie named Boo. She was smarter than me and I was definitely not the alpha in the relationship. I learned after a couple of years that I am just not a good dog mom so for both our sakes I gave her to a good friend who adores her. They are both very happy now and I see them all the time: the best of both worlds.
I’m sorry for your loss. I’ve never lost a pet greater then fish but any loss hurts.
Wow, I would say that honestly makes you an incredible dog mom! Knowing what an animal needs versus what you can give is so important and absolutely amazing you could recognize it. It’s the reason I can’t have the giant farm, goats and all, that I would totally have if I could haha. I’m so glad you still get to see her! That truly is the best of both words 🫶🏻
🌈🐕🦺 so sorry for your loss, as someone who love dogs as much as I do (my life revolve around dogs and books) I feel your pain hope you feel better soon
sending all the love and virtual hugs!! 🐶🤎
Thank you!! 🫶🏻🖤
I am so sorry for your loss Olivia. Pets do become family members and it is only right to grieve their loss. I have two cats, two dogs and 6 chickens and they mean the world to me. Animals are so uncomplicated and give so much love! I loved this long vlog. I am so into Gothic Horror and Dracula is my absolute favorite Horror book, great idea to do a reread soon!
Oh my goodness, I want to be a chicken mom so bad I can’t even explain it. I’m jealous!! And thank you so so much, I’m so glad you enjoyed. Dracula is my favorite one as well!!
So sorry for your loss I know how much you love your fur babies 😢
Also can't believe you came through our small town I was the little lady sticking out of the Finlay Donovan book🤗🥰!! I was so excited to see you went to intermission bookshop!! ❤
Thank you so so much 🫶🏻
And omg no freaking way!!! That’s so cool!! I loved the way the store showed who recommends the book!
Sending you all my love, Lumos and bugs hugs. 📚📚📚
My dog died too. Sending love your way. I am sorry for your loss
Also look up Barbie Delle/Curl Vitality for the hair stuff ❤
Ok as requested here is my funny pet story. I have two cats; one is a ginger named Oliver and he is very needy. When he was little he used to climb on my lap and try to suck on my earlobe. I asked the vet if he was taken from his mother too soon or something and he said, "No, he's just a freak." Now he still lies on my chest and cuddles into my neck and chirps like a bird. He hardly ever meows. I'm sorry for your loss Olivia and I'm glad you have a supportive partner to help you.
Girl, I am also a pal girl, and I dyed my hair black, and I loved it. It went with my spokky loving heart. Just do it. Just use semi-permanent hair dye. I'm sorry you're grieving. My little teacup Chihuahua is like a grumpy old woman now so she sits in the window and Barks at anything and I'll be reading my book and she'll put her head on my book to have me look out the window so I can watch what she's watching. 🐕🐕🐕🐕
We know how hard it is to say goodbye to a beloved pet (family member). Last October, me and my partner had to say good bye to Jackson our Husky. My favorite story of Jackson (aka Doof) was that he loved carrots and I would cut them up for him and every time I would give him one he would walk around the house with it sticking out of his mouth like he was smoking. This one day I had the windows open and he heard some of the neighborhood dogs barking and he went to the window with his carrot stick sticking out his mouth looking like the Godfather/Dogfather with his carrot cigar like, "You want a piece of me?!" I have never laughed so hard in my life because he would turn around and he still had the carrot stick in his mouth looking at me, "what's so funny, mom". Thankfully I was able to get a picture of him with it and that picture will always bring me so much joy even though he is no longer with us. We are here for you. I'm so sorry for your loss. ❤❤
I completely understand talking about something to help process it. I am so very sorry for your loss Olivia! I recently had to put down my pup I got in high school and that was one of the hardest thing I've ever done. My emotions are everywhere right now.. the 27th is the 2 year anniversary of my father's death. he was diagnosed with stage 4b lung cancer that had spread to his brain liver and bones, we had just over 5 months together. It was just him and i every single day. I'm an only child and he never remarried after my mom, heck he never dated after my mum..I was with him everyday after his diagnosis and I was with him the day he passed away. Grief is a funny thing and is very personal to process. The first year it didn't really set in.. this year I've started medication for depression, I've started talking to a counselor.. I'm taking steps for me I the right direction. Take your time and know no matter how you are or feel its right for you
I'm so sorry, Olivia. Losing a pet is always so hard. I have a 12 year old Schnauzer mix named Scruffaluffagus. He's my little shadow and he loves road trips, the beach, and fetch. My spouse has a 6 year old tuxie cat named Arya Minerva. She's a loud mouthed diva but genuinely the chillest cat I've ever met. They both are tuxedo patterned so we have matching critters and it makes for cute pictures. 😂 I hope your heart feels better soon 💚🐶
🐕🐩 I'm sorry for your loss. I reread Legend recently too.
THE RUNAWAY TRAIN??? I gasped because that’s my college town😱
🐶 last month we had to put my childhood dog down. My daughter took it pretty hard. She hugged her until the very end. Rip Kody and Allie 💜💜
So sorry for your loss. I've just hauled Silver Nitrate as I loved Burn the Negative and they supposedly have similar vibes!
