ASW plane is for historical reasons - her spotter plane sunk a German U-boat at Norway early in WW2. First German submarine sunk by a plane in WW2.
her ASW stat and plane are nod to histrical kill of U-boat in Narvik battle by , you have guessed, Swordfish catapult plane from Warspite
Its also what her Retro-historically added to her, A catapult for a scout plane.

Graf zeppelin can survive a divine marksman actually (just barely) and ironblood BBs can tank it. Mostly eagle and sakura are vulnerable

Warspite is now the #1 Enty Bully. Pair her up with someone like Amagi and OWARI DA is a thing of the past.
I like to use Monarch for that if I'm feeling peckish. She's got baller stats and that sexy AP Barrage, if you put her on the flank (which does almost feel like a waste), she'll make sure that even the things that Warspite can't one-shot will cease existing ASAP.
The reason I run Amagi over Monarch is because you fiddle with Amagi's firing time. Put her in a Sakura fleet and Amagi can fire off her barrage before Enterprise can ever load an airstrike, while Monarch runs the risk of her getting an airstrike off first depending on her loadout.
@@Dramatic_Gaming I run the gold 15'' anyway, as Monarch's got the FP stat to make it useful and I mainly use her for the barrage anyway. But I can definitely see why someone would go for Amagi. I just always feel like I'm wasting potential if I'm not using Sakura ships in a pure Sakura fleet.
It's too bad AL treat CVs like fucking BBs and let them fight within their range. Otherwise everyone will *Reeeeeeeee*
She always get MVP in my PVP fleet as long the fight lasted more than 10 seconds lol.

GameDominator //XennonGDM yes they were, every battleship built after HMS Dreadnought had a BC equivalent up to the QE class, they were the last dreadnought battleships finished by the RN if memory serves and as such they were the last ships to have a BC equivalent, weather or not that’s the renown class or the admiral class(HMS Hood), I cant remember.

HMS mob fleet running Queen Elizabeth + Warspite + Unicorn backline helped me a lot in event maps (hard mode), especially when running on zero ammo. Warspite is guaranteed to take MVP position after each battle. Boss fleet is more CV heavy due to the bullet hell.

Glad I decided to start on Warspite's retrofit right now. I need to actually start leveling her more to put her into my pvp set up. Right now it is Enterprise, Prince of Wales, Ark Royal. With the vanguard Retrofit Laffey(Married), Belfast(Married), And Retrofit Yuubari(Married). I know there is better to choose over Yuubari. But they aren't as high leveled

I think the ASW stat is just for flavor since Warspite went up against submarines a few times in its history, I don't think it damaged any of them but not for lack of trying.

I wonder if the initial bugs of her Divine Marksman plus got worked out (as to say multiple markers and/or it not doing what it should) or not. But putting that aside her stats/etc are hardly rivaled among BBs. And being a HMS ship, she can enjoy a number of buffs easily. In short the Cleveland of Battleships.
I really hope the rerun of her event will be back soon, I really feel bad for missing it especially since i have everything needed to retrofit her, except of course... the sword

I know you didn't technically mention the Character list, however I have 3 proposals for you to add on:
1. Casablanca. she's one of the few Rare CVL's that has an actually amazing (and unique) skill.
2. Intrepid. Being an Essex Class CV, I feel as though this would be a missed opportunity to not cover her. Besides, she has great stats and 3 very interesting skills.
3. Bremerton. I know she's in the same boat as St. Louis (being very large in a certain area), but she's just as good as her Sister Ship, Baltimore.
Edit: I know this is an older video, and you'll probably miss this comment. However I think these characters are worth a quick mention!

Wow...wish my Warspite was that good at hitting the backline. Somehow, nearly every match, with accuracy equipment I get double misses...all the time, it's the most painful thing to experience...besides Spence not having an oath skin.
Correction: The AP barrage modifier against light armor is actually just 30%. Only AP+ and SHS has 70% against light armor

ur barrage does like 7k per shot. mine barely does anything over 1k. i have her mlb @lv100 with mk6 and her barrage skill is lv 7 and shes not retrofitted. also her white shell is not fully upgraded, does she get like a huge dmg boost once i max out those aspects?
It's the skill remember...it's gets a damage boost for the first barrage!

Well the rerun has come
I always do pvp exercises and 95% they all have retro spite, I can tank the skill only 4/5 times using either graff zep with gold armor plate or tirpitz with top HP ,having this 2 ships in 8-9k hp (yes I'm using full Kms fleet)
I actually wonder what it'd be like if I put a light armor in that spot...maybe they'd live?

@@wisdomcube7789 but...light armors aren't known for health...plus the first shot's damage is up by 130%...so...it's worth a little bit of science over

Oh I get it! Warspite gets the ASW skill with her retrofit because during the battle in Norway where she's well known for deleting a shitton of German submarines, Her scout plane successfully bombed and sank a U-boat, being the first to do so.

it might sound not true but my hood can survive warspite . I am new to the game and my main ship strength is 12.2k and vangaurd is 11.5k I have faced warspites and if she shoots my Hood then it is better because she is 8k health and then all I do is wait for my enty to proc OWARI DA , when that happens the enemy vangaurd gets destroyed and all i have to deal with now is the backline. Now i have won this way against a player who had his stats a little higher than mine . My vangaurd is low because i cant really find super rare weaponary. My enterprise has 6k health and rodney has 7 and since I use prinze eugen who has a whopping health of around 6.5k I am usually sure that my vangaurd will survive while theirs wont and I also use pearl on Belfast so if she dies everyone has 10% instant health regen
Is the target spread skill worth leveling? Wouldn't it be better if it worked somewhat like AOE?
It increases firepower and accuracy against Destroyers...those are worth it.

Yizhen Ji Bismarck had plenty of worthy opponents, IRL or in game.
A short list of ships that could beat Bismarck IRL(not complete)
Any CV
South Dakota class
North Carolina class
Iowa class
KGV class(if the gun turrets are working)
Yamato class
Nelson class
QE class on a good day or if there’s two of them, if it’s Warspite then she has IRL plot armor and will win by default, doesn’t really matter what the Bismarck try’s to do(other then runaway, that might work).
Admiral class(HMS Hood), yes Bismarck sunk her, that was sheer luck, it would not be hard to change the outcome of the battle.
Colorado class
2 or more stander class or R class BB’s could beat Bismarck
Oh, and 2 honorable mentions for the RAF and SOE, both of them have things in there arsenals that can stop a Bismarck class BB, be that a squadron of midget sub or a 6 ton bomb dropped from high altitude via 617 squadron.
