I got my new XS Pro today ! Probably the first in Norway. Had to buy it from Denmark, due to a non-interested norwegian Browning importer. Stunning wood , and nice balance. This will be good !
Thank you for your comment, I am pleased that you enjoyed the video. In my experience left handed shooters that go from a right hand top lever to a left handed one do struggle initially. God luck. Kind regards, Matthew
Yet another thorough and enjoyable review. The stock on this gun is truly outstanding and you certainly source some very special examples that are not seen anywhere else. I think the suggestion of a different recoil pad is a good one too, as I experienced a recoil issue when trying one and it put me off buying, as I found the gun to be perfect in all other respects.
I normally shot Berettas but when i was looking for a new sporter i tries the XS Pro - well havent looked back im hooked lovely gun fits really well - i was originally looking for a Beretta 694 but didnt like it!! great Gun
Love your videos Matt I really hope this is viable and you can continue making them. They're great, would love to see a video with some side by sides and some sub gauge guns.
Thank you for your comment and kind words. I have no plans to do anything other than grow the channel and share my passion for shotguns. Will certainly look at some sub gauge guns and side by sides so stay tuned. Kind regards, Matthew
Thank you for your comment and kind words. It would be great to get my hands on some of the Mirokus that are available in other countries. Kind regards, Matthew
I started out with a Miroku 3800sw which I still have. I then bought a 525 sporter. Got rid of that and bought a new Blaser F16, which was a huge mistake!! I grew to hate it. Today I swapped the Blaser for a 525 ultra xs pro…It just felt right, familiar, comfortable…I cannot wait to get out with it.
Very nice and well thought out shotgun. If I were in the market I would be jealous of the selection of Brownings that are available in the UK. The Browning US catalog leans toward the 725 series more than the Citori (525). Our XS has been replaced with the CX series which is ok but not in the same class as the XS Pro. In your copious free time 🤣it might be interesting for you to peruse the Browning US catalog to see the differences.
Thank you for your comment. Of course, historically Browning trap guns have dimensions of 30/32 DAC and 40/42 DAH whereas the sporters are 36/37 DAC and 56/57 DAH. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Matthew
Thank you for your comment. Yes I am absolutely planning some SKB reviews although good ones in desirable specifications are quite hard to come by in the UK. Great quality guns though. Kind regards, Matthew
I have a perazzi High tech which has been Teagued and I have 3/8" in both and use it for sporting clays etc even use it for the pigeon shooting , however it is probably best to get a full set of chokes just in case you wish to use the gun for different disciplines
Why on earth do owners leave the plastic barrel sticker on ? Schnabel fore ends look nice , but the sharp edge of the end is vulnerable to knocking and damage. Don't get solvent like Hoppes No 9 on the action , it can ruin the finish while in storage.
Thank you for your comment. I am not sure why Browning owners decide to leave the barrel stickers on, it certainly wouldn't be my choice. Thank you for sharing the schnabel tip, good advice. Kind regards, Matthew
You nailed it again. Brilliant review. I really like the XS Pro....but...as you mentioned...the grip is to small. If Browning were to make a stock for the XS, with the shape of the one on the 725 Pro Sport, I think it would be a huge improvement and boost sales. While they were at it, they should definately replace the american walnut on the 725 Pro Sport and Pro Trap with turkish walnut (like it is on the 725 Pro Master) Edit. Personally I would also like the matte black barrells on XS, but i know they are not to everyones taste.
Thank you for your comment, I am pleased that you enjoyed the video. I agree that the 725 Prosport would be a better proposition with European Walnut but I doubt it will change. Kind regards, Matthew
Thank you for your comment. A historical Browning/Miroku issue but well worth the occasional hiccup for the quality and durability of the product. Kind regards, Matthew

Thank you for your comment. I am sure that you will enjoy the Browning. Kind regards, Matthew
Great vid, thanks. Picking mine up this week, a true lefty, which I know is going to feel weird after years of shooting right handed guns.
Thank you for your comment, I am pleased that you enjoyed the video. In my experience left handed shooters that go from a right hand top lever to a left handed one do struggle initially. God luck. Kind regards, Matthew
nice very nice , great review Matt
Brillant review of a beautiful gun Matt with a superb stock. Thank you!
Thank you for your comment, I am pleased that you enjoyed the video. Kind regards, Matthew
Happy new year Matt , wow, you can certainly sniff out that extra special one, another one which looks like it's not had much use.
Thank you for your comment and Happy New Year (a bit late I Know!) My big nose is great for sniffing out special guns 🤣. Kind regards, Matthew

Cracking reviews as always and no sign of a creepy ed Lyon’s shirking in the background 😂
Thank you for your comment which made me giggle 😂. Kind regards, Matthew
Great review. And yes wonderful woodwork.

If you google Miroku MK10 sporter black edition in Australia, you will find this is the same gun in my opinion! Love the videos.
Thank you for your comment and kind words. It would be great to get my hands on some of the Mirokus that are available in other countries. Kind regards, Matthew

I like the wood, that’s about it! The limited engraving is like you say, like a nasty paisley tie of the late 80’s!!
Better forend shape though.
Another belter of a video.👍
Thank you for your comment, glad that you enjoyed it. Kind regards, Matthew

Thank you for your comment. Please feel free to contact me if you require any assistance regarding export. Kind regards, Matthew
I upgraded to an XS Pro a few months ago and loving it. Shame I’ll probably never use 5 of the chokes!
Thank you for your comment. As I said in the video the choke selection is baffling! Kind regards, Matthew
And I want 3/8 which isn’t in box!
Hi can you please tell me of your vast knowledge if there's a stock variations on the 325 sporter and trap ,many thanks

Can't go wrong with an xs, any plans for an skb Matt? I love all the japanese guns and Skb are very underrated such a shame they went belly up
Thank you for your comment. Yes I am absolutely planning some SKB reviews although good ones in desirable specifications are quite hard to come by in the UK. Great quality guns though. Kind regards, Matthew
Great Stuff 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Great review Matthew. Are Teague chokes worth it for the average club shooter, if so would you go 3/8 in both or 1/2? Thanks.
I have a perazzi High tech which has been Teagued and I have 3/8" in both and use it for sporting clays etc even use it for the pigeon shooting , however it is probably best to get a full set of chokes just in case you wish to use the gun for different disciplines
Thank you for your comment. Teague are superb chokes you will not be disappointed. Kind regards, Matthew
Love this priced gun...problem is I can't even find this gun anywhere on there site...let alone the Pro...WHAT THE FREAK..
Is the d's pro 3 inch
Thank you for your comment. Yes the XS Pro has 3" chambers. Kind regards, Matthew

Shame about the usual Browning fault of the forend pin working loose when you fire it 😢
