Been a big fan of these guys for a long time and I gotta say they kick ass with Austin playing that mean ass guitar and Dawna with her bad to the bone vocals they are as good as one get get in my opinion. They say rock is dead and that may be true for whats on the radio anymore but the Hi-Jivers is keeping it alive with this stuff 100%
Whatever "it" is - they have it. Great vocals and Austin has just the right amount of "less is more" in the thick of his kick-ass performances. I love the little touches of Hubbie Sumlin. This is one TIGHT band.
What a a wonderful representation of our country and American music to bring overseas... I think they were presented with an award for their performance at this festival... Very cool there's such enthusiasm & appreciation for this great classic music.. It looks like they were warmly received by the fans.
