You ever think about doing that; live aboard a boat? I'd like that, if I could afford a boat. O'Leary's looks like my kind of place. There's a sailboat in the Matanzaz River in St. Augustine. It hasn't moved in YEARS! What made you leave Sarasota? It's such a beautiful area, with so many recreational opportunities.
You should check out Fort De Soto Park south of St. Pete’s Beach. It’s a very nice park with lots of beaches and a sand dollar island. There are also not as many people compared to a typical beach area.
lol yeah that’s what they are because during the day a lot of them are hanging out at bayfront Park on the land right there in hammocks or just laying around. Not to mention my friend Bob that I played golf with and I videoed his boat is totally a nomad and has been for 30 years maybe more.
@@SarasotaTim Interesting I had never made the correlation between the boats and people laying around etc , I had noticed them when I walked around Bayfront park but no thought much about it...
@@Mrpegs1 Not all those guys laying around are on those boats but some are and I know that for a fact. My buddy was one he’s not poor he just chooses to live A nomad lifestyle. 😎 Happy new year Mrpegs

Oh really? Ok thanks I’ll check it Piano 😎
There are also trails all along on the island. You could ride your electric bike there.
Enjoyed seeing seeing Sarasota from the sea. Never heard the term Nomad boats! 🛥

@@SarasotaTim I understand thanks, have a great new year.
Live aboard for 7 years with no rent gotta love it!
how fast does a 20 foot pontoon with a 60hp go? I didn't see you crank it up during the video...
Ramon it doesn’t go fast because they put a governor on it so it went maybe 20mph. 😎
Brian`s boat looks like a Striker old all aluminum boat, top of the line back in the day. As I look closer not a Striker.
That`s not Brian Johnson`s house... his house is about 20 houses down from that boat.
Ok thanks. 😎
