@jasminekt5204 awe thank you so much!!! If I have it my way, this game is going to be around for a very very very long time! I'm already planning on making a version 6 of my mods list in the future, along with a lot of other plans for the game! The Sims 3 is my favorite game, and the Washburn Edition takes it to a whole new level! I've actually spent the last few hours playing version 5 and just getting lost in it 😍 can't wait to share it when it's finished!!!
Aw yes I just subscribed can’t wait to see the things you share w us! Thank u again And haha also same! Ur not lying I play my little homestead family for hours and it’s so fun having a farm full of things and activities to do ❤ even having a little bakery is fun w all the new recipes u can add, anyway happy simming
@jasminekt5204 I love my little Homestead family! Well little is not a good word for them anymore, since I'm playing the second generation lol and I love learning new recipes! Some of my favorite mods add new recipes which are so much fun! And happy simming!
I tried to play Sims 4... first household of just 1 sim never reached level 5 of her career and the house was still the same furniture that was there when she moved in. Tried a full house of 8 different sims with completely different traits... turned out to be a house full of the same sim that just looked different and had a different first and last name. That save didn't last 2 days... second dinner was not even started. Never touched the game again. Some complain about Sims 3 load times... yet spend more time looking at loading screens in Sims 4. Some say Sims 4 looks better? If you like looking at plastic through a soften filter then sure it looks better, but if I can't tell if the brown floor is wood, plastic, or tiles then no it doesn't look better, it looks less. Not less better just less. Same texture resolutions in both games just the newer game has less details... well no details at all. Sims 3 looks better because you know that dining room floor is wood and that's carpet in the living room, the grass outside is grass and can be a variety of types or quality... but that's nothing compared to the Sims themselves when traits make a personality and your 8 sims in the house are all different.
@le_Gay hi! Thank you so much! And you are so welcome! I'm so happy you like my work! The Sims 3 holds a very very special place in my heart. I was always so frustrated by the constant lag and crashing that kept me from really being able to enjoy the game long-term. I can't believe how well the Washburn Edition has turned out, and the fact that I get to share it with my fellow Sims 3 fanatics so that your game can run and look like this means the world to me!
@aetauri Thank you so much! I'm very proud of it! I actually tried out project renaissance, it looks incredible! However, boring bones default tree and plant replacements worked better for what I am going for 😊 thank you so much for the suggestion! I love learning about mods I might not know about 😁
Seeing the progress gives me so much joy. You're game really looks STUNNING and it runs like smooth butter. I hope my game one day reaches this point. But even if it works substantially better, I still deal with overheating problems. Could my problem be related to playing the game on a laptop?
@NIPTheNerdLover Thank you so much! I am so happy with it!! And I hope so too, it's why I created the Washburn Edition 😁 and a few questions for you. Do you use Lazy Duchess's Smooth Patch? Or have you limited your FPS in Options? A lot of overheating issues come from framerate spikes. Unlike other games, The Sims 3 doesn't have a built-inn framerate limiter. For instance, most monitors have a framerate of about 60-120. Without putting a limit on it, the game can ramp up well beyond that and overwhelm your system. If that is happening, it's a really easy fix! The smooth patch mod has a built-in frame rate limiter, or you can do it manually. Let me know if you have any questions or need help 😁
@@GoldenEnninasSims3 I do use the smooth patch! And have been using a framerate limiter for like... A month now, which has helped GREATLY. I guess in normal gameplay I don't experience a lot of overheating, but I've noticed it in two different instances: 1. When I reset the town to clean it up 2. When I play with all the in-game settings set to high. I made some experiments to try and see which settings would work better for my computer, and it seems anything that involves advanced rendering is still a big issue, sadly 😔
@NIPTheNerdLover oh no! Well I haven't touched my computer while resetting the town, but I'll test that out and see if I'm having that issue. I have all my Graphics maxed out, and advanced rendering and Edge smoothing on without overheating issues. It could be some routing issues, or some of the other glitches in the game stressing the computer out. I found a BUNCH of mods to fix routing and other issues for V5, so that should help once it's released !I can't point to just a single mod that would fix your issues at the moment, but hopefully, V5 will help 😊
@MischievousMischief 😁😁😁 it's a mixture of several different mods! Lazy Duchess's smooth patch is a must. Also, I found a bunch of mods online that fix different routing issues in the game. it took me 6 hours, but i finally got the chance to load up my game and its running so smoothly, seriously thank you for putting youre time into this!! I haven't been playing because its been so buggy and I just didnt know where to expand with the mods! I cant wait for V5

Am almost done with a complete every self employed career legacy challenge and it has a wonderful love story for generation 2. Created the family and mom was the gardener career and daughter was the fishing career, created the family husband and wife and child daughter Trista and moved them into the corner house down the street from Mosquito cove.. the starter house with a good sized lot for the garden. The first day of school Trista came home with Sandy French so instead of going fishing they played tag until dinner and I sent Sandy home with a full belly and completed homework. Well Sandy came home with Trista every other day and Sandy would call to chat the other days.. Needless to say they became the best of best friends. Sandy became a teen 2 days after Trista and the day she didn't come over prom was announced and I was going through Trista's friends list to decide on who to ask when Sandy called Trista up and asked her to prom. Trista said yes ofcourse just so i didn't have to decide who she would ask. Sandy solved that problem lol. Trista got prom queen and Sandy wore a your mother dresses you funny insult worthy dress.... so since prom was going to pop up the next week thanks to a mod I moved Sandy and molly in got Sandy's friends with enough classmates and a proper prom dress she got queen too. And they were inseparable. They both graduated 2 days apart and both were valedictorian and their awards were mixed up on the bedroom wall... now on the lot that the horse grounds gets put.. need the large lot for the challenge. Anyway they got married, ceremony went off without a hitch at home and the wedding arch went over the front door walkway. Sandy had the artistic trait so she was the artist and Sandy would paint in the morning while Trista fished in the pond at home both right there near each other, they were inseparable. Thanks to a mod Trista got sandy pregnant and they had a boy, gen 3 the nectar maker with nectar made from grandmas perfect fruits except bananas. Anywho Sandy and Trista never got to the stop flirting stage most do. After work Trista would go and flirt with Sandy or Sandy would go flirt with Trista and they always got the romantic wants... they watched stars together more times than i can count and woohood anywhere they could... treehouse, hay pile for the future horse career. They would sing karaoke together had silly and romantic photobooth pics when they went someplace they made it a date, go to a friends party and dance together... always inseparable, I would have to break them up so they would talk to their friends at parties. They took turns helping their son with homework and both worked on his toddler skills and teaching him to drive. Perfect parents. Then gen 4 came along and Sandy just loved him and he would go fish with Trista when not playing tag with Sandy. Ofcourse Trista and Sandy were elders at this point with full life bars and a week before their grandson became a teen Sandy was playing tag with him and died of old age. Trista died later that night as she was heading off to bed. I cried over the loss of them. They were the perfect couple, best friends as children, teen sweethearts, perfect parents, proud grandma's and they always stayed madly in love with each other to die on the same day. And ofcourse they were put in the family cemetery on the home lot and would haunt the house along with their parents. The wedding arch went behind their graves... but they moved out of the house the week before they died and became young adults and saved to the bin and are now in the world I made for my sim families minus the son who turned out to be just annoying.
Wait, no Gardening is fun mod? That's a must have for any gardening list. Why did they make gardening stressful for Sims, people garden because they enjoy it. I also use a mod that makes the plants last 4 times longer so the replant mod isn't needed, when a plant dies I place one down for planting before having the sim dispose of the dead plants. I never have to worry about what died and needs replacing. I also use a mod that increases the amount of fruits and veggies you get from gardening. But that could feel kinfa cheaty when your gardener sim makes ~$10k a day from just life fruit and gardens from ~6 AM to ~11 AM... 5ish hours for $10k? that's allot for so little time. A gardening tip.... I have a WA treasure chest in the garden that gets one of each fruit or veggie so what's in the fridge can be used all up and I always have 1 perfect ready to plant if I change up what's in the garden. And ofcourse it's got a stack of garlic for fertilizing,,, the best fertilizer buy enough to fertilize the garden once and make sure you have a garlic plant and keep enough in the chest. Fishing for fertilizer? Nope just plain ole garlic.
@JETWTF you know, I actually do several of those things LOL I used to keep a world Adventure chest with seeds to make sure I could always replant. And when one plant would die I would plant the same plant right next to it and then reorganize everything. I might have the gardening is fun mod, I'm not sure! V5 is such a massive project that sometimes I forget which mods I have installed. I have them organized in my spreadsheet according to when I installed them and not by what type. The next thing I'm going to do is to reorganize the mods so I can have a good feeling for what I have installed. I think I already have a few of the mods you talked about, some of them I had to choose between because they conflicted with each other. So I just picked the ones that were more useful to me 😊
@@GoldenEnninasSims3 I stopped using seeds except the special ones. I buy the fruit or veggie and plant them instead and start with better than normal quality. I don't normally do a gardener sim for the gardening career, normally just a small garden for cooking or a garden of grapes for nectar making. I just didn't think the career was all that lucrative because my Sims never really made much from it. But I did an all the self employed careers completed legacy challenge and found out it could be the biggest money maker for the least work. Just need a garden with nothing but perfect quality life fruit to sell and maybe a couple plants for cooking... fishing on the other hand, nope that career is bad. Fish all day for bait to fish a couple hours in the middle of the night to catch the fish to sell as the only way to complete it is not my idea of a good career. A fun thing about a gardening sim is they can live without a stove or fridge and never talk to another sim in town and become the wealthiest sim. Harvest and eat what you got, sell the rest except something for dinner and talk to the plants. Rags to riches at Stoney falls is easy.
@JETWTF oh yeah you can make an insane amount of money from gardening! Especially if you grow garlic and the like if I remember correctly. Gardening is so much fun!
I adored the Sims 3 but idk, it's still the rounded faces that gets me. No matter how thin I made them, it felt like they didn't have a jawline. But it was minor enough for me to have played weeks, months....years happily. So whenever my channel suggested that I watch this, it reminded me just how much I loved it. So I thank you for this 🎉
@thiaulric9053 awe thank you so much!! I really love this game, and I love sharing and improving it!! And I haven't used it myself, but I believe if you use the Nraas master controller mod, you can increase the range of the sliders to have more extreme changes to your Sims face. That might help the issue you're having with the jawline 😁
@@GoldenEnninasSims3 Yup, I had height sliders, body sliders along with face and hat sliders. After a very extensive search for the mods I needed I believe I got the Sims to look more like their counterparts I was wanting them to be but the journey to get all of them and for them to coexist was indeed trying. But nothing in any of the other Sims genre will ever take the place of map editing and open worlds as a whole
@thiaulric9053 oh I know that one all too well 😔❤️ and I couldn't agree more. Sims 3 has SO MUCH to offer, and I love every bit of it! I just can't play without open world.
@@Sans-nx4cx yes I was! The Washburn Edition add some much-needed stability to the game, so I have all of my Graphics maxed out, with Edge smoothing and advanced rendering enabled, and I have several mods that increase the appearance of the game as well! I also play with all expansion packs at the same time on my laptop!
@andrewkeshan8649 you know, I've definitely thought about it! I played a lot of Sims 2 when I was a teenager, and it will always have a very special place in my heart. Although I don't currently have any plans to remaster The Sims 2, it may be a possibility in the future 😁

@@biancasowesscoast6465 yeah I was definitely disappointed that they moved on to Sims 4 before fixing a lot of bugs in Sims 3. One of the reasons I'm so insanely grateful to our wonderful modding community!
@@GoldenEnninasSims3 yes! I keep trying to tell them on Twitter that there a whole and still huge sims 3 community that’s alive and very well! I played ts4 once when it was free the first time. When I got into the world, I literally scream. It was like they put its users back in a cage. I deleted it and have since been solely ts3. I’m a builder and caw lover beyond so I’m heartbroken. I’m doing to download your works and continue on. I refuse to play in a closed dead world like ts4. Your world is Alive! Far superior than ts4 today. Idc im standing on this statement. I love the ts3 community! 🩷🩷 since 2009? 😅😅🩷💁🏾♀️
@@GoldenEnninasSims3 and what pisses me off the most is that they haven’t even tried to give us a update while we waited for damn near 15 years for ts5, didn’t think about updating ts3 when they said they were working on project Rene so we would have to wait even longer, AND they never attempted to remaster ts3 fir those of us that are still super obsessed with it. A remastered ts3 2024 edition would be overly AMAZING. Ts3 has my heart and I have depression anxiety and adhd 😅 so ts3 specially building and caw helps me through all my stages of sorrow and hyper focusing and for comfort. So for them to just totally disregard the ts3 players like we mean nothing, I could just cry knowing that there’s no step up from ts4 in anyway that will help people like me that use the game for mental health.. tbh, after inzoi comes out and i see what the game is like, and if ea doesn’t find a way to include “ts3 open worlders” I’m done with ea. my heart can’t take anymore abuse from them. Sorry for the long post and vent. But I’m totally heart broken by yesterday’s news and todays update with no open world option to ts4 base game. 😩😣😔😔
@biancasowesscoast6465 I couldn't agree with you more! I tried to get into Sims 4, I really tried. Especially because for a long time it was the only Sims game I had access to. I was so excited for the Sims 4, to play the next generation of the franchise I love. I played a little bit of the original Sims, a lot of Sims 2, and even more of Sims 3! I can't put into words my disappointment when I realized that they had taken away open world, create a style, and honestly all of the in-depth gameplay. The game just feels very shallow and hollow to me. I hope you enjoy the Washburn Edition! Let me know how it goes and if you have any questions! I have found some really incredible mods that alter and improve the game play, game stability, and just the overall experience! I still get giddy every time I launch the Washburn Edition lol Yeah they are making so much money with the Sims 4 that they are really stuck on it. Unfortunately they are missing out on a very passionate community in The Sims 3 players. I always hoped that they would remaster Sims 3 so it would actually run. I would also love to see a remaster of Sims 2, the gameplay was really something else! Actually some of my favorite mods for The Sims 3 add features from The Sims 2. But I just can't exist without the open world! I love being able to merge all the best parts of each game together! I was also semi disappointed to hear they weren't going to be making a Sims 5. Although honestly, I lost all faith in them after what they made The Sims 4 into. I completely understand! I have used the Sims 3 as a huge coping mechanism in my life! A lot of my life hasn't been pretty or happy, especially when I was younger. This game has gotten me through so many rough patches in life. It's one of the reasons I have such a big passion for it. And it's one of the reasons I'm putting so much work into combining these mods and creating the Washburn Edition. So that people like me, like us, can have a stable version of The Sims 3 to experience like never before! It's such a beautiful game, and I'm so happy I get to bring it to life in 2024! And I'm sorry for what you've been through. You didn't deserve whatever happened to you 😔 I hope that in time you can find peace, healing and joy again ❤️
@Lv-sg4zp oh man! Yeah I've been there. I had the same computer for about 10 years until I got that laptop 😂 The Washburn Edition may still be able to help you though. Either way, good luck 😊
It would be helpful if you had time stamps for when you talk about mods vs your sims. It also may just be me, but even on 1.5x speed I find you’re speaking quite slowly. On normal speed you’re speaking incredibly slowly. Just what I noticed!
@bonafide4874 thank you so much for the ideas! I'm planning on adding in time stamps for the people who just want to see the mods! Unfortunately I have not had time as I have a very chaotic schedule.
Were tou able to increase the qualityof visuals after mod? I have to play mine in super low always
We need a remaster of the sims 2 as well
@andrewkeshan8649 you know, I've definitely thought about it! I played a lot of Sims 2 when I was a teenager, and it will always have a very special place in my heart. Although I don't currently have any plans to remaster The Sims 2, it may be a possibility in the future 😁
I'm looking for a lot with an incredible show stage but it's hard to find
@@sabrinadepapel oh that's rough when you can't find what you're looking for 😔 unfortunately I don't know of any off the top of my head, but I'll let you know if I run across any 😊 there are actually quite a lot of creators on Tumblr making some really cool stuff for Sims 3, so you might be able to find some on there!
Your works are appreciated since its own founder threw it in the trash. 😢❤
I still get giddy every time I launch the Washburn Edition lol
Yeah they are making so much money with the Sims 4 that they are really stuck on it.
At least you laptop is 2 years old, mine is 8 years old 🥲
@Lv-sg4zp oh man! Yeah I've been there. I had the same computer for about 10 years until I got that laptop 😂 The Washburn Edition may still be able to help you though. Either way, good luck 😊
@@GoldenEnninasSims3 thank you! I’ll get a new one once i can though
@Lv-sg4zp well I wish you the best of luck! I know the struggle ❤️ And you are so welcome 😊
And I'll keep that in mind! I tried to speak slowly to make sure I enunciate everything and that my words are easy to understand. Thank you again 😊
