Blount Disease | Infantile & Adolescent | Viva Tips for the FRCS | Orthopaedic Academy
The session is a joint teaching presentation by the FRCS Mentor Group and Orthopedic Research UK, moderated by Firas Arnaout, with Gavin Spence as the speaker.
Gavin is a consultant pediatric orthopedic surgeon in Dubai with a clinical interest in limb deformity correction and teaching.
The session focuses on Blount Disease, a condition that causes limb deformities due to premature closure of the growth plate.
The session will include a lecture presentation, followed by three polling questions and an opportunity to ask questions.

Thanks for your nice presentation.
I think the post correction genuvalgus deformity in adolescent Blount patient (the last case) is due to limb length discrepancy. The left femur seems larger than the right one. To accommodate that length valgus happens.
