- In this video, we show you how to replace both window lift assemblies (window regulator and motor) on a Fiat 500 Abarth. This will also work on the Fiat 500 Turbo and Fiat 500 N/A (Pop, Sport, Lounge).
Tools Needed:
Micro Flathead
10mm Socket
5mm Allen Socket
3/8” Socket Extension
Phillips Screwdriver
Pick
Electric Impact
Masking/Painter’s Tape

For the white cover thing, you can use sound dampening material such as dynamat. It’s much better than oem one. Benefits are quieter, better bass and more solid door.

I do not recommend getting mad after bonking your head on the roof getting into your 500 Abarth then slamming the door with all your might.
Now my regulator that was weak but working is very much just dead and broken.
Which is why I take it you watched my video…. Lol. Good luck on replacing yours! Hope this video helped!

Oh by the way, the chrome trim pieces around the vent and the arm rest ok the door cards, do they just pop off? I assume the chrome plastic rings do, but I'm guessing the arm rest was just done on the door card?
How do you remove the window (glass) if the bottom section broke?
How old is your Fiat that you needed to replace these? I am driving a 2012 500 Pop and my passenger side just started acting up. It dropped halfway down for a couple of times and now it won't drop but a few inches so I'm keeping it up until I can repair it.
I am glad I found this video because I wanted to know it was an easy fix.
My town of Augusta GA does not have Fiat repair under Chrysler anymore:(

Thanks for the video. My son has a 2012 abarth , his driver side regulator broke so he bought a new one , in stalled it and the white plastic piece tab broke, he try it with 2 new ones same thing. Seems like the window jams up any ideas ?
I would check to see if something is stuck where the window goes up and down

How much do you charge for this replacement? I own a 2017 FIAT 500e and the Driver Side Window lift just broke today!!!!!:( So, how much do you charge to replace? And where are you located?
I'm wondering if having WINDOW TINT installed on your windows causes extra drag force on the window lift mechanism?

You can buy the one touch up/down relay that connects to the stock one on amazon.
