People are bringing in old style motorcycles for premium price points even though not worth. But Yamaha is unfazed and doesn't want to bring XSR series when it knows there is demand and knows the quality it brings
let's not kid ourselves. yamaha, suzuki these companies have decided to rot themselves with their current bikes by just changing little parts and then increasing the price in india @@praveenbhandary9215
You are a one of the major share holder in East India Company. Again you acquired one of the British proud company. As a Indian you are a "Business Bhagat Singh" for us......🙏🏻
Jawa and Now BSA Let's see if Mahindra tastes some success with BSA atleast... But at this price we get twins in RE.. why should anyone go for this bike
The well known competitor was none other than Bajaj Auto, one of Mahindra's key competitors in the Indian automotive and motorcycle industry. In the mid-2010s, Mahindra & Mahindra, through its subsidiary Classic Legends, was in a race to acquire the rights to the iconic British motorcycle brand BSA. Bajaj Auto, led by Rajiv Bajaj, was also reportedly interested in acquiring BSA. Bajaj Auto, known for its success with brands like KTM and Pulsar, was a strong contender, and their interest nearly jeopardized Mahindra's chances of securing the deal. However, due to certain delays on Bajaj's side, the deal eventually slipped out of their hands, allowing Anand Mahindra to swoop in. Mahindra was able to secure the BSA brand quickly, finalizing the acquisition within a very short timeframe, reportedly around 48 hours. This swift action by Mahindra ensured that Classic Legends could take control of BSA and begin plans to revive the brand. This was a significant victory for Anand Mahindra, as it not only added a prestigious brand to Mahindra’s portfolio but also strengthened their position in the highly competitive motorcycle market.
It was H D Shetty promoter of falcon tyres and karnataka scooters who brought the brand to india in the seventees, it was called BSA falcon GT 50, it was a first international collaboration in india, engines were from moto morini italy, he later sold the company to brooke bond
Just buying the brand isn't gonna bring glory back, currently looking at the sales of the Jawa and YEZDI bikes things look pretty unclear. It would have been a better idea to revive the existing brand than adding more to the portfolio.
Look at how these big companies trying to make money by bringing 'country' theme into this. Yeah we know you are indian, now start giving us good products not just Indian products.
Hello ANAND SIR, CONGRATULATIONS FOR BSA LAUNCH, BUT PLEASE IMPROVE THE RIDING QUALITY OF YEJDI SCRAMBLER AND OTHER JAWA YEZDI BIKES, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR R N D TEAM, AND WORK ON JAWA YEZDI RIDERS REVIEW, YOUR BIKES ARE GREAT BUT RIDERS STILL NOT SATISFIED WITH THERE MICRO FAULTS, REGARDS

Bajaj tha shayad competitor ! Agar Bajaj partnership par BSA launch karta toh quality sahi milti...jawas and yezdis have rusting issues, quality issues and ground clearance issues. I hope BSA must be different than these two!
Mahindra taking charge of two wheelers BSA will go the same way as the Mojo and the Gusto or the Duro and will never ever be heard of it anymore. Farewell BSA. Thanks for coming. Mahindra should concentrate on 4 wheels. Know your strength Mahindra.
Mahindra took over Kinetic about decade + back . What is an outcome of that deal ? I think Mahindra needs a dedicated person like Ralph of JLR to take 2 wheelers business ahead. There lies an immense potential globally for Indian made reliable and economical to use 2 wheelers.
Stop wasting shareholders money on such frivolous investments and make investments in EV's like the Chinese. At least brands like Tata and Bajaj make decent world class products.
RE 650 BEST HAI , legend walo ki bike fail huyi thi aur java yezdi legend wale banate hai , looks chiye toh bahar ki imported bsa Norton achi hai agar budget hai toh, but Indian made BSA se achhi RE 650 hai ye bike is a big no design looks engine sab faltu hai , aur sound bhi auto rickshaw jaise hai, plus overly priced
Old style motorcycles in premium price. One company is doing that already (royal enfield), why are all the other companies are joining into this band wagon? All all the competitors motorcycles now look the same and just copycats.
Product quality ka kuch nahi ..bus new products rhey keep launching..paint, meter, body metal all damaged within a couple of years. Worst of all, they have the stupidest service staff, they are novices who are just roadside mechanics handling your expensive bikes.
These are poorly finished products. Just getting an old brand name and trying to leaverage it for sales is not going to work. Indian audience are now fully aware and want good products.
Mahindra Sir , You’re ruining legendary brands, first make your machine RUST FREE your bikes Don’t even know Basics of making reliable machines parts & Engine.People aren’t Fooled enough to go only with Brand name to buy them up .!!
Lets be honest this bike is not a BSA Gold Star, it is a cheap, crappy, third world produced bucket of cachu. This pathetic replica must really suit cheapskates wallets, anyone with any sense (especially those ageing nostalgia seeking wanabee's) should save a bit more of their pension and buy a "proper" bike. Maybe an easy first purchase, but don't kid yourselves, you will try hard to convince yourself you have a nice "new bike", bit your joy will soon become dulled when you try to part ex. even for another BSA or Royal Enfield replica, used prices of these pathetic counterfiets are falling like lead balloons in a bucket of water. The "assemblers" (for they are not makers) of these jokes can't even give it a proper tank badge..............

That's the true and apt opinion by you @sohanthkumar6170
I like the firms strategy to compete in the more fun sector of the market. Let us take this as another win for India.
That's the bomb of automobile industry. Superb bike

Hats off to Anand
I owned a BSA bike once when I was a kid, it was a small one, so when I grew up I bought Atlas Contender :)
Great Anandji,I admire you Sir !

Let's see if Mahindra tastes some success with BSA atleast...
But at this price we get twins in RE.. why should anyone go for this bike
Because it's charming and probably the most torquey long stroke single in the market in this category!
A biker's bike .. can't wait to test it out.
Why can't you build your own Indian from Mahindra like TVS.
@@rajkumar.g9463 they did people didn't buy😂
Even TVS bought Norton Motorcycles. I hope they revive it and bring those beauties in India
Thank you Anand Sir
I hope this will soon in the indian market with affordable price and easly available ❤

Trivia 👍
But bajaj could have made this brand more successful than Mahindra could ever do.
good otherwise we would see a clone of dominaar as BSA 400
It was H D Shetty promoter of falcon tyres and karnataka scooters who brought the brand to india in the seventees, it was called BSA falcon GT 50, it was a first international collaboration in india, engines were from moto morini italy, he later sold the company to brooke bond
All just they need is to bring so e BSAs with lower cap engines in strategic price tag. And its a check mate❤
Just buying the brand isn't gonna bring glory back, currently looking at the sales of the Jawa and YEZDI bikes things look pretty unclear. It would have been a better idea to revive the existing brand than adding more to the portfolio.
One good thing you did

Mr Mahindra, you f*cked up both Jawa / Yezdi brands - just have mercy on BSA!
True😂

who actually was the competitor
Murugappa Group, the makers of BSA bicycles, apparently.
Tvs or bajaj maybe

This is " BSA M ROXX " 650
ssangyong, jawa, Mahindra bikes, e20, ventures with Ford and renault failed. Except their jeeps they are not lucky with anything else😢
They don't have a good enough motorcycle engine.
The sad part -
Todays Jawa, yezdi and BSA brands are just names.
now to release a better scrambler than RE with this engine please please.
