you can place mob heads in water but it has to be a source block it cant be moving water

I always thought the Warden dropping its head would be a cool bonus prize for killing it. I know that it would kinda defeat the purpose of what Mojang had in mind for the Warden because they wanted to encourage players not to fight it by not having it drop something cool, but I still thought it would’ve been neat if it did.

I feel like they should’ve had the warden drop it’s head in general. I get why they didn’t make it drop anything (useful at least) since it’s not meant to be fought, but it would’ve been a cool trophy for those strong enough to kill it.
It doesn't drop anything but Mojang said it's not a boss to fight its a thing to avoid, if it dropped something useful and/or cool it would defeat its purpose of it being avoided

@@AnotherArtistM8 even so, its totally ridiculous and unfair that it doesnt drop anything useful. minecraft is supposed to be a game where anything is possible, having a mob that you're ''supposed to avoid'' defeats that purpose.
The warden is the only renewable way to get sculk catalysts, and those can be used for auto kill mob XP farms.
@@AnotherArtistM8 Irrelevent. Minecraft dosn't have rules. You can play it any way you want. Hence, it should drop SOMETHING because it doesn't matter what Mojang intended. Any strong mob will be fought.

i think its really clever that the rarest mobs have higher drop rates but common ones have low drop rates. its very good because imagine having to kill the warden 20 times just to get its head

Fun fact, if you throw slow falling potion on the mob you're trying to carry with a leash, it won't take any fall damage when you land and will make your work sooo much easier :)

A very easy way to distract the Warden is to put a trapdoor in between 2 Sculk Sensors. The sensors will open and close the trapdoor repeatedly, while the trapdoor is constantly alerting the sensors, making a self sustaining noise maker
