Theres an easier way to take off the brass 1: heat up pan on the stove 2: put shells on for 2 mins 3: use pliers to hold on to the brass 4: pull of plastic 5: let cool and then your done

I wanted to keep the plastic, reduces sharp edges 😉
The metal is not sharp on the brass I take them off all the time and never had a sharp one
Can I ask please what attachment you used to attach the shell to the drill?
It's a part I pulled from a printer, the screw was from a CRT television
