    Hey this is a great video!! A friend of mine is sending me one of these little tanks with a few things to do a setup video. I had planned on doing something to make the pump not so powerful but I like how you just removed the whole filtration section out completely!!
    I agree about the lights that come on these little tanks.. they are quite surprising and grow low-light plants better than people realize!!
    Thanks for sharing I was looking for a little inspiration for setting mine up and yours was the first video that popped up on a Google search 👍🙌 that's pretty awesome to me because I've always followed your Channel ♥️ I hope you're having a great day! 🌿🐟🌿🙏💚

    I have a 5 gallon Topfin Retreat tank. It has a built in filter like that one but it curves into the corners. The thing cost me $70 plus tax Canadian and it houses my beta. I would love to remove it and open up the whole space. Irene, from Girl Talks Fish, had one and she mentioned about doing it but never did. If you get a chance to slice up one of them I would love to see it!

    I have the 7 gallon also and ripped out the filter system lol it's a waste of space. Question is it 7 gallons including the filter area or would it be an 8 or so once that removed ? I got mine used for free and it didn't have tje box or anything else.

    Where’s the link to those rocks ? Looked in the description ect. Also if you took the filter out what did you use for filtration? I just bought this tank for my Betta. I thought I’d keep it like it is & just adjust the filtering somehow. Still new to this! Thanks for your help! 💜🥰👵🏼love your video. 2nd time here, new fish keeper.

    I'm so glad I watched your video. I'm searching for a replacement 3 gallon tank. Is the area for my Betta still 3 gallons or am I losing swimming space do to the filter? I too know how stressful a filter with a heavy flow can be. I usually put a piece of sponge in to reduce the flow or don't use one at all and just increase the partial water changes. Can you recommend any 3 gallon aquariums for my betta? Thank you!!!

    If anyone has removed the filtration and no longer needs the media basket that slide in and out i am looking for 2 of them for 2 of my 3 gallon contours. Only replacement i see online is aftermarket im looking for stock.

    What’s the point of getting this tank if you’re going to remove the built in filter ? Are they not good filters ?

    • @lilahhernandez5519
      @lilahhernandez5519 3 года назад

      The filter is just ok but I think the reason he removed it was because it’s too powerful and will tumble any small fish and possibly hurt them, it also clears up space an all in one 3 gallon is already small as is so he was making more room

    Was that a small double sponge filter I saw in the middle of the back at the end of the vid ?

      You can order them on Amazon I’m not too sure what they’re called but I’m pretty sure if you type in small double sponge filter you’ll find it, mine went for around $6

    1. Tank is Gorgeous!
    2. Do you have the link to the artificial rock? Love its colors!
    3. I was thinking about getting shelves like that, but I’m worried that since it’s slats that would lead to uneven weight distribution on the bottom of the tanks which would lead to cracking. Is there some work around you do?
    4. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS!!!
