Congratulations Kate! Thanks for this very helpful video. You’re incredibly inspiring to so many who are going through a similar situation. I graduated from nursing school over 15 years ago (in the US). My plans changed but now I’m in the process of returning to my nursing path; preparing for the NCLEX. For the state of Illinois, would you happen to know the eligibility requirement in terms of number of years after graduation you’re allowed to take the NCLEX? I know some states impose a 3-year limitation and others require a refresher course completion. I’m still checking each state’s BON. Wishing you great success in your career.
Hi Kate. Thanks for getting back to me with your helpful answer. I agree and I’m definitely going to go for it soon. I really appreciate your support. I’ll keep in touch.

So you took it in IL?? I heard NY too doesn't have a time limit. How long was the ATT good for??
@@TutorialsbyKate Kate, how long was the ATT? I intend to take the exam by October 15th. So I am wondering if the ATT is for 3 months or 6 months. Please let me know. Thanks
I took my PN EXAM April 12,2022. I Pass WITH 109 questions. Don’t be scared. Be positive and if you are a believer just live everything in God hands after your studies, Don’t lean to your own understanding you will fail. The importance is to pass and not the numbers of questions. I used UWORD and Mark klimek only to study. When I finished my exam my spirit was calm and I had that inside peace. You should have a plan for study and time to relax. NCLEX is just straight forward. Proverbs 3:5. April 13,2022 UPDATE!!!!! I went to Virginia board of nursing and I PASS. So since yesterday I didn’t check or use the trick for checking result. I just have faith by posting without knowing my result and trust GOD IN THE PROCESS. Glory to him.🙏🙏
Out of all you have studied which one of your study methods do you feel helped you the most? I have studied saunders and remar. I have yet to try uworld. Hi Kate, I am returning to nursing after 9 years. Is Saunders all sufficient as a text book? or shall I consider adding another text book for studies. I don't remember anything of nursing any longer. your video is so motivational. thank you
Hi, I just want to ask, after receiving CTS confirming that you pass, did you did you cut the form that you filled up it and send with $50 licensure fee, or did you send the whole page, I'm not sure because it says retain a copy of this letter for your record, it doesn't say make a copy. I hope you will read this on time, I'm sending it tomorrow. Thank you.
Congratulations I also graduated 5 years ago getting ready to sit for the Nclex my only problem is the SATA questions I never get them right..how many hours did you study in a day..you motivated me that I can make it..how many weeks in preparation

Yeah, I needed to make sure I learn as much content given the length of time since I graduated. Here was a question: A man is dying in A room With 2 family members. 3 other family members are waiting in the waiting room and want to be with their loved one. The hospital has a strict police officer no more than 2 guests to a room. Ok. What would you do? Me I’d let them all in, but I chose call nurse manager. Missed it. (I think).
Sorry for the late reply, just noticed your comment here. I would allow them inside the room as that's the moral thing to do at this point. Is it legal? Maybe not. But is it moral? Certainly yes.

Hi dear I'm going to start my Neclex preparation this month. I have one question. I don't wanna take any coaching classes. If I just follow Saunders and UWorld. Is this material material is sufficient for passing Neclex exam. Thank you so much.
It could be different from person to person because all the materials I discussed here played a role for me to pass NCLEX. I think it would depend if you feel prepared using only those 2 and assess yourself by taking practice tests. Best of luck!

Im an international RN. graduated BSN degree in 2007. I took NCLEX 2020. Self study and passed at 75 on my first attempt. Im just an average student in my class. I used uworld, saunders 8th ed., mark klimek audio, Registerednursern and simple nursing but i focused mainly on saunders and uworld. these two materials are highly effective. I tried to jot down notes but its not effective to me bc i dont reread them again so i thought its kinda waste of time only... And i did thesame thing as her, still reading mark klimek notes while on the way to the testing centre. Above everything else PRAY! Lots of prayers. and visualize that you gonna pass the exam! Goodluck everyone
Hi, for thé Saunders, did you just only do the questions? And then do Uworld? Second for remar how did you focus on finishing and memorizing the whole book? I’m studying the same but need some guidance
Hi! For Remar, I didn't really memorize everything but I would say, I familiarized it. Repetition is key. I took the time to read the content on the Saunders book, plus did the questions. Hope this helps!

Congratulations! Thank you for sharing these ideas and informations, I am taking my NCLEX this year and I graduated in 2009. Can you please share with me the quizlet, kaplan and hurst? my email is irisjoyblasco@gmail.com thank you! 😊
Wow so encouraging...i graduated in 2007 ... Took the nclex pn 3 weeks ago but didn't pass. I plan to take it again in about 6 weeks ... I thought i was the only one in this situation....thanks for sharing
I graduated in 2010 and am in the same boat, can I ask what you are using to study and if you need a study buddy? This exam gives me so much anxiety, I failed in january.
After using uworld twice and failing, I never knew I could ever pass the nclex but today I am very happy. I just passed my Nclex on my third attempt with a great help from Dr Luther.
No, IL doesn’t impose any requirement in terms of years after graduation to be eligible. But I highly recommend you go for it asap! Best of luck!
Hi Kate. Thanks for getting back to me with your helpful answer. I agree and I’m definitely going to go for it soon. I really appreciate your support. I’ll keep in touch.
@@TutorialsbyKate i must admit you are phenomenal Kate. Out of all the videos I have watched so far, you impressed me in many ways. In two and half months??? Wow incredible, I really admire your discipline, commitment and tenacity. I will emulate you in these areas, stick to a plan I am going to develop and I will give you a feedback when the time comes.
Thanks
Thanks this give me hope! ❤️
Thank you, this is really helpful!
Great video! Very helpful! Do you have the link for the Hurst Review Strategies?
Glory to him.🙏🙏
Congratulations!!!

Congratulations Kate,
You are a determined woman. Thanks for inspiring us.
By the way, how many hours per day did you studied on those days?
Roughly 6 hrs/day.
Out of all you have studied which one of your study methods do you feel helped you the most?
I have studied saunders and remar. I have yet to try uworld. I also never thought about using saunders and uworld together. Saunders has a enough questions of there own and is very board. Remar is great bc she tells what you need to know. I graduated 2013 yet to test all help is appreciated
Mark Klimek & Uworld are my top 2 that helped me the most.
@@TutorialsbyKate where is the link for the mark klimek document and the quizlet pharm download?
Hi, came across your channel and I just want to ask If I can still use my Saunders 7th edition or buy the latest edition? I graduated 10 yrs ago and would like to challenge the nclex-rn. Thank you for encouraging and helping us esp. people with anxiety on taking the nclex. 😇
I would suggest getting the latest one if available. It might cover Covid related topics that's not available in the older editions. Best of luck!
After using uworld twice and failing, I never knew I could ever pass the nclex but today I am very happy. I just passed my Nclex on my third attempt with a great help from Dr Luther.
Hi Kate, I am returning to nursing after 9 years. Is Saunders all sufficient as a text book? or shall I consider adding another text book for studies. I don't remember anything of nursing any longer. your video is so motivational. thank you
Everything I showed in the video is all I used for review. Best of luck
Batch 2007 here and taking the nclex this year 🙏🙏

So helpful! Thank you. How manybweeks you finished reading the book?
roughly 6 weeks
Hi, I just want to ask, after receiving CTS confirming that you pass, did you did you cut the form that you filled up it and send with $50 licensure fee, or did you send the whole page, I'm not sure because it says retain a copy of this letter for your record, it doesn't say make a copy. I hope you will read this on time, I'm sending it tomorrow. Thank you.
Congratulations I also graduated 5 years ago getting ready to sit for the Nclex my only problem is the SATA questions I never get them right..how many hours did you study in a day..you motivated me that I can make it..how many weeks in preparation
Hi! I have discussed that in my video :) Roughly 2 months of preparation, study in the morning and work in the afternoon until evening (check the entire video for these details). Best of luck!
thank you so much for this
I love your study plan and I will love to use it. Could you please share the link for the cram sheet? I

Hi I just couldn’t figure out how to find Mark Klimek record…. Could you give me further advice how can I find it?
YT is now flagging it for copyright. But I see other channels continue to publish it - just search for it and you'll see it in the results.
Thanks 👍 so much
But we were asking we are in Uganda but we were asking in case we apply in August 2024
How long will the process take or months inorder to arrive in America.

I like your strategy. Is Saunders book really a must? Pwede ba uworld lang and remar?
no rules to really follow. Depends on how much content you want to really take in as part of your preparation :)
@@TutorialsbyKate thanks! But did u find uworld rationales not enough thaat u need to search more from other resources?
Yeah, I needed to make sure I learn as much content given the length of time since I graduated. Looking back, I'd say what really helped me a lot are the following (in order, most helpful to least): Mark Klimek review > Uworld > Remar, > Saunders.
Check Mark Klimek review here:

How long did you study (review) before taking the NCLEX?
Wooow . I finished my nursing school 10yrs ago..i am planning to do the Rn NCLEX soon ...thank you this is so helpy....
But can u provide the Fb group Link please...
Hi, pls check the description box for the links :) Best of luck!
Congrats
Here was a question:
A man is dying in A room With 2 family members. 3 other family members are waiting in the waiting room and want to be with their loved one. The hospital has a strict police officer no more than 2 guests to a room.
Ok. What would you do?
Me I’d let them all in, but I chose call nurse manager.
Missed it. (I think).
Let them all in
Sorry for the late reply, just noticed your comment here. I would allow them inside the room as that's the moral thing to do at this point. Is it legal? Maybe not. But is it moral? Certainly yes.
Graduated RN ADN 2008 and would again love to be a RN. There seems to be no path in Texas. Has anyone seen this problem without going through school again?
Totoo po ba no need experience in US? Andami ko nakita ads sa fb. Nakaka engganyo.
It’s true
How long did you prepare for exam? I have been out of field since 2013z
Congratulations 🍾....what state did you take your exam
Illinois
The Nclex test can be really frustrating, I can't believe I failed again after studying so much.
Hi Kate, how long did you alott everyday for practice question and for reading contents?
Hi dear I'm going to start my Neclex preparation this month. I have one question. I don't wanna take any coaching classes. If I just follow Saunders and UWorld. Is this material material is sufficient for passing Neclex exam.
Thank you so much.
It could be different from person to person because all the materials I discussed here played a role for me to pass NCLEX. I think it would depend if you feel prepared using only those 2 and assess yourself by taking practice tests. Best of luck!
hi, when you say you read cover to cover what’s that mean? do you take notes while reading?
What is the price of the saunders nclex-rn 8th edition.
Which website is the best website for ordering saunders nclex-rn 8th edition..... eagerly waiting for your reply
I got mine from Amazon: amzn.to/3e1tb1Q
Guys after 75 question nclex rn exam gave me scenarios case study question and it stop at 102 question. can anybody help me why I am getting a scenario question after 75
it's either you're doing very well that the system throws you more difficult questions, or it detected a weakness at that area so it keeps testing you with that type of questions. Keep us posted on your results! Wish you the best!
I’ve been outta school ten years I’m from Indiana where can I take my NCLEX without going back to nursing school again?
You’re awesome! ❤️
@@TutorialsbyKate thank you! Congratulations
how long did you study for?
Hi, for thé Saunders, did you just only do the questions? And then do Uworld? Second for remar how did you focus on finishing and memorizing the whole book? I’m studying the same but need some guidance
Hi! For Remar, I didn't really memorize everything but I would say, I familiarized it. Repetition is key. I took the time to read the content on the Saunders book, plus did the questions. Hope this helps!
