A fantastic game. One of the best indie games I've ever played.

One of the very first console indie game hits from the xbox arcade era.
Wonderful to see it come to Switch, as its the modern day haven of indie console games

We are so far removed from the glory days of XBLA and Indie games in general.
Downloading games allowed developers to release smaller, cheaper games in the sea of AAA titles during the 360/PS3/Wii days.
Absolute classic, can't wait to play it again.
I couldn't have said this better myself even in the comment I left before I read yours. Indies aren't special anymore and haven't been for a long time.
This game was monumental in starting the indie game movement, along with other titles like World of Goo, Super Meat Boy, and several others.
"We are so far removed from the glory days of XBLA and Indie games in general." Not true, there are countless good indie games still out there, it's often a lot more difficult to find them though, this comment however was unnecessary.

Oh indies have been alive and well on the Switch for the past 7 years. Nintendo has really highlighted a lot of indie developers this generation.
Braid was an enormous breath of fresh air when it was new and mainstream gaming was getting more interested in being barely interactive cinema. It was one of the most important pre-Shovel Knight indies of its time and helped popularize the idea that two totally different styles of game design could co-exist within the same market. With the direction indies have gone in the past decade, I have absolutely no doubt it will be reevaluated with this Switch release as in need of all kinds of "quality of life improvements" due to it's perceived high level of difficulty.

Wow, this classic really brings me back. 'Twas truly the golden age when indie games were beginning to enter the mainstream consciousness. It's great to play Braid again! It's still one of my favorite puzzle platformers.
I sort of wonder if this will be at all impressive for those who weren't there in 2008 to experience it...neat, creative indie games are the norm now, but weren't 15-16 years ago.
I remember being obsessed about this game bacl in the day. Would gladly replay!!!
When this game got announced for other platforms, I was wondering why it didn't have a Switch logo with it. Now I know. I for sure will be checking this game out.

It wasn’t until listening to this video that reminded me how much I loved the music in this game. Also that I never got that last star in the game…

@@atmatey honestly it’s been 3 years since I booted the game up. All I remember is that 1 star in the constellation is missing. I did get the one that takes literal hours to get and I do know the one I don’t have is a skill/timing issue. But considering that Braid is my first and only platformer I feel I did well.
@@DarkQueenHelba It may be the one in ”Fickle Companion”, that one is one of the toughest ones imo. Hat’s off to you if Braid was your first platformer, it’s not an easy game to 100%

Oh, I've listened to the soundtrack way more than I've played the game, and I beat the game on PC years ago. It's some of the best music ever.
Definitely an important title for showing the future of indie games on console back in the day. A perfect fit on Switch.

I love this game so muchhh! It's one of the best which hasn't been mentioned for a long time. I'm glad they bring it back in this gen console.

I use to have this on a old Mac laptop. Loved playing it on there. Was always a game that touched my heart when I was drinking heavily, and getting to the end of the game and being like damn, that's me.
It was weird seeing this just be in the final showcase montage thing. Braid is super freaking cool.
Used to play this on the 360 back in the day. Glad it's making a comeback.

Getting an anniversary edition! It was a very standout and unique game, kinda like a dream.
One of my first indie games I owned. I still have it on Steam. Not a bad little time traveling platformer with an interesting plot twist.
Downstream has always been my absolute favorite track❤

This game really brings back a lot of memories when I played it back on the PC. Now it’s making a comeback on the Switch. Definitely gonna play this masterpiece.

I can't believe that 2008 was so long ago, but that's when current high schoolers were born. How did I miss this announcement of the game coming to Switch? I just happened to be looking at games "Coming Soon" in the eShop and this was mixed in with the rest. Then I see this video is almost 6 months old and it comes out next week!?!

I can understand why people love Braid but I personally found it to be ok. A good indie game but I feel like there more highs in the Indie scene that tops this now.

Love that puzzle where you have to wait for that slow moving cloud to make its way across the stage. Remnant 2 did a similar thing.
