Thanks, what I expected the blast shield would do, negate the advantage of the muzzle brake.

Holy Sheeeet!! I just purchased a RPR 338 Lapua Mag about three months ago. I had no idea that Bitch kicked that bad without a muzzle brake!! How do I go about purchasing a Terminator muzzle brake? Right now it has the standard, I think they call it the tank muzzle brake, actually sighted into 500 yards today with a inch-and-a-half group of 3, not great by any means but pretty cool when you've never done it before lol. Me and my father benchrest shoot, 300 yard's as far as I've ever been out with old school model 700 bolt-action 30/06.

Yes, I have seen others doing similar comparisons in the past with the same results

Yes it does. I have a whitt machine brake with a screw on blast diverter and it's on my tavor. The difference in recoil with and without it is as noticeable as the sound difference. Luckily its 5.56 so not much recoil either way but it's nice to have the option when I'm at the range with people nearby or when I'm alone there. The better the brake the more loud its gonna be for anyone to your side so sometimes sending that noise down range is much appreciated

Are your semi automatics now illegal in NZ? Like no more AR's or Modern Sporting Rifles? Are silencers illegal there now as well?

Hi Cookie, all semi auto centrefire rifles are prohibited here now without a specific tightly controlled license as are shotguns' with detachable magazines, The maximum magazine capacity for any rifle rimfire or centrefire is ten, Shoguns are five
      Suppressors are still legal
