I think there is a bit of confusion there. The assist of any character, Fei Long, in this case, its "assist" effect will only be applied IF Dhalsim is assisted (Fei Long to be at the top row of the team build). Only three characters are in a battle at any given time, and the fourth or the backup position is not considered an assist. Thus, levelling his fighting spirit to +5 is sufficient. Beyond that would only be considered if you are actually going to use him in the actual combat team. Hope this helps.
Yep assist is top row. That's what I meant. Add him above dhalsim and when you perform dhalsims special, Fei long assists. Didn't think I said 4th position cause that's a tag not an assist. Also said they pair well together In a team so not sure if that was it

Just a quick correction, his Signature that launches an extra Fireball on Super works with stacks of Penance, which are the dodge stacks that goes up 2 times with Flame Tower and stacks up with him hitting or getting hit, not the flame stacks that you get 5 with each Flame Tower. In theory it looks like its harder to get this stacks up but in longer fights you will find yourself filling the stacks faster because you dont need to actually use Yoga Tower to stack em, just by spamming your multi-hit skills will get them up pretty easily.

Well i never get any penitence stacks by hiting oponents and i try a lot of training match ect ect. I play him all the time so are u sure u can get penance stacks by hiting ?
@@studiobaguette7781 You need him over lvl 221 to get stacks by hitting, and its only 5% chance, but his 3rd combo multi hits a lot so you always end up getting at least 3 stacks while hitting the full enemy team

That's awesome. Suggest building e Honda, c viper, guile, Chun li, beast Zang, Elena and regular zang.
A good team is Honda, bzang, dhalsim, Elena. Combo is dhalsim ult, c1 Elena heal, c2 bzang, and c3 dhalsim.

I’m confused is the tag spot the same as the assist?? Cause we can’t activate skills or combos of assists they just provide stat boosts so if I put fei long in the tag position to utilize his combo 1 am I then losing out on his assist skill passive??
No tag spot is ur 4th unit and can do a combo but not special. Assist is above the unit and yes just does the +5 FS assist skill and the stat boost. Depending on the unit most assist moves are watered down versions of a combo skill or effect
What am I getting wrong? When I place him in assist fire carpet never shows. I have him at SSS** & his FS at 21. Why is it not activating?

I'm trying to get his penance to stack 10x so he can spit an extra catastrophe ball but it won't work!! You can only get penance x10 if you do yoga tower, but you cant use yoga tower and yoga catastrophe.Any suggestions?
Heya Cory ya u gotta do yoga tower unfortunately. Once you do it twice you'll see the second one. Just gotta switch to him doing his special once the stacks get to 10. This becomes easier with his 6 vehicle passive
How do we go about beating dhalsim? Currently facing 2 of him and 2 mayor Cody’s and can’t for the life of me beat it

Only bad thing in Dhalsim is, he too slow to attack first. And the combo canceled once your teammate die😢
Yep that's exactly what I mentioned in the video. His special is SUPER slow but his combo 3 yoga flame makes up for that
