I really appreciate you showing the different fabrics and explaining the differences they make. This one was very informal. Thank you so much for going over the labels.
Loved the J Crew Factory pants and blazer on you! I agree with you about the movement on the J Crew skirt and the sweater lady jacket was lovely on you. This was a really nice comparison video. Very well done. Thank you!
One of the reasons I enjoy watching your channel is I always learn some new interesting fashion tidbit from you. This was a really good video, thank you. 😊
Totally agree that the JCrew Factory pant is much better. I think it looks way more flattering on you. I've been looking for a trouser for a while. I want a wider leg, but not a super wide leg, and the J Crew Factory is just perfect. I also prefer a flat front. Think I might be ordering thst one. I love your style and the way you embrace your hody.
I especially liked the Gwyneth slip skirt in navy. Combined with the cropped lady jacket, you have a very nice outfit. The camel-colored blazer also looked nice on you too. Interested to see your Walmart haul. Thank you for doing all the shopping and modeling so we don't have to do it.
Hi Oralia, great vlog, and I love the camel color jacket as well, and definitely love the black pants from J Crew Factory my two favorite. I agree much to much fabric loss from altering the J Crew pant. The extra details on the chambray shirt are so pretty, so I was completely lost, fell in love instantly with that choice! For some reason I'm just not a fan of the "lady jackets/cardigans" I am going to step outside of my comfort zone, and try a tweed one this season. Thank you for sharing, it's appreciated. 🥰
❤ I happen to prefer JCrew Factory for the styles. The slight twist in style is what I prefer. I have a medium weight short coat I purchased from JCrew Factory last winter and I LOVE it‼️ It’s olive green and it has a very cool shape. It’s a quilted jacket and it’s got a high/low hemline. Plus of course I love all the sales they do. 😊
I think every petite girl needs to learn to hem. It's so easy unless you're dealing with a circle skirt or something cut on the bias. Those can go to the tailor but trousers are a snap to do at home.
Thank you for the comparisons. I have been wondering how the stores compare. There were some nice pieces from both. I actually preferred the slip skirt from JCF better. The heavier weight is more forgiving of lumps and bumps and gives a cleaner line.
I really like the jcrew factory chambray shirt . can you tell me if the sleeves were tight ? I really like your channel and appreciate your honest opinions 😊
I just discovered j crew and I thought j crew factory was just like an outlet with their outdated styles so I had no idea that there was a difference at all but I love both equally!!! They are my new favorite stores for the best classic capsule wadrobe I am trying to create
I'm not a fan of the jeweled buttons, it's giving 90s/00s but not in a good way. I appreciate all of your commentary on fabric, construction and fit! It's very helpful!

I loved the camel blazer & factory pant. That would be a great starter set, very versatile.
Agreed!

Yeah, I like them a lot!
Thank you for the thorough explanation of J Crew and J Crew Factory. Great pieces, especially the camel blazer and black slacks.

Make this a series! I was JUST doing this with Banana Republic/Factory while shopping for my husband for Christmas!

Thanks! The pant was a sleeper hit, for sure! They're staying with me, lol.
The last pair of pants from JCF fit you so well you should get multiples. Also I would like to continue to see these comparisons… so educational!😊
I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it!

I love your channel! So much helpful information, and your term, "quiet luxury," is exactly what I've been looking for all my life! I'm a huge fan
Excellent video. Love having the comparisons!
Excellent video Oralia, thank you!!!! I agree 100% with your selections for each store!
So glad you enjoyed it!
That jcrew factory tan jacket looks so nice on you! I’ve gotten lucky and found some beautiful j crew pieces on Thread Up ☺️
Please keep sharing comparison shopping. I really loved this podcast!
So glad you liked it!
Good video, I actually didn't even know that there was a J. Crew Factory, so have to check it out. I thought you looked great in both blazers.
Thanks so much!

Very interesting! Appreciate your take in the two? Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Especially loved this haul. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed!
I just have to say I really like you! I think you are smart and well spoken. Mary :)
Aww! Thank you! 🙈
Have you shopped at JCPenney lately? I noticed they have some really classic pieces on their website.
It's been a while since I've shopped JCP. I'll need to take a look.

The sewing is easy, the measuring is hard (for me, lol).
Thank you for the comparisons. I have been wondering how the stores compare. There were some nice pieces from both. I actually preferred the slip skirt from JCF better. The heavier weight is more forgiving of lumps and bumps and gives a cleaner line.
Good point!
Great comparison!
Glad you enjoyed it
I find it so odd that many stores that carry plus sizes don't recognize short plus size people (like me) as existing. It's as if we are unicorns. Lol
They also don't acknowledge that there are tall plus size women. Smh
@@JamillahGabriel That's right, tall plus size also needed. Very frustrating.
So true on both counts!
They don't do well with tall either. Lol
I really like the jcrew factory chambray shirt . can you tell me if the sleeves were tight ? I really like your channel and appreciate your honest opinions 😊
They aren't tight, which I love!
love this video Oralia/love all of your clothes/always so beautiful XXX
Thank you!

brilliant, well considered vid
Glad you enjoyed it!

You are so welcome!
lady jacket is very chic
That's what I love about them. 😉
sleeves are a bit long in the jeans shirts
They are, I usually roll up my sleeves to expose my wrists and a little bit of skin. 😉
Hi oralia
This is not Chambray. Chambray is a warp and weft where the weft is white and the warp is any color.
