Hi! I'm Sniff or Cass, and I'm a Minecraft builder that has been in love with the game since 2011! I like to do gaming content around sandbox and creative games, like Minecraft, The Sims 4, and much more!
What's this? A brand new series?! What a fun time! Anyways! Welcome to Master Magic, a series where I'm going to be mastering one magic mod per episode with the exception of this episode. It's just a silly fantasy survival series with some fun roleplay aspects. I really hope y'all like it.

This is exactly the magic of minecraft I missed. No rush. No deadline. No stress. Just having a good time and taking your sweet time. That tudor styled building actually blew my mind with how incredibly creative it looked.
Your channel is a breath of fresh air compared to the current MCYT formula. Not another “100 days hardcore!” or “100 play simulate”. Your narration shows a genuine interest. You don’t play mainstream and watching your gameplay I can feel investment you have a wonderful personality and I love you expressing your interests in other topics outside of Minecraft but still being able to implement that into the core of the gameplay. It truly feels like a sandbox game when you play it, not following a specific formula and not worrying about how to appease your audience. A smaller part is seeing more female minecrafters make content. In the RUclips scene I don’t see many female MC players and if I do, they usually have a small following and are often times ignored, and this hurts me being a girl it makes me doubt if we even matter as part of the player base. But you shine through and it brings me hope seeing a woman with 100k+ subscribers and feels like we matter ❤ thank you!
Agreed, I normally find this sort of content rather repetitive; but Snifferish’s diverse diction and engaging storytelling brings a much needed element to the common MCYT formula. I could’ve sworn I’ve seen another video by snifferish a few months ago, but I neglected to subscribe. I can safely say that I corrected that mistake.
Completely agree with this! I hope Snifferish gets all the love from the RUclips algorithm that she deserves, despite not making content solely to "abuse" the algorithm 🤞😭❤

Apparently botany pots don't work well with some shaders, so that's probably why they weren't rendering correctly!

Any idea what game version and/or mod loader is being used? I'm trying to put these all together myself but some mods don't share compatible game versions (e.g. Blood Magic is only up to 1.18.2 but Alex's Caves doesn't go lower than 1.20.1)
EDIT: I think it's Forge 1.20.1. Blood Magic does support 1.20.1 but only via Alpha files.
"not very good at survival building" builds a beautiful cottage on the first episode that would take me at least 2 weeks of gameplay
This is SUCH a breath of fresh air! I've been searching for minecraft letsplays for a while, and all I've been able to find is "100 DAYS IN BOSS RUSH FANTASY HARDCORE". It is sooooo nice to be able to sit down and relax with a slower paced series, with someone who genuinely sounds like they're enjoying it. PLEASE continue this series.

I see you've already got a lot of structure mods, but if you haven't seen it, Integrated Dungeons and Structures is a really great one! It uses Create, Quark, & Supplementaries to create gorgeous structures throughout the world. It even has optional I&F compat!

I love how the chosen mods seem to have tons of little tricks that take some learning to know(ie the male/female dragons have a different wing pattern)

Based on the video I believe the mod pack is either Cottage Witch Recast, Valhelsia 5, or Prominence 2. All 3 are amazing and I highly recommend them all!

You had such a good start! I tried a magic playthrough too back then with the same dragon mod but kept getting murdered by them even though i'd be 30 blocks away

I have a few things I wanted to say, first, your voice is so sweet and calming, it is honestly so nice to listen to. Second, I love the general energy that you bring with your video, I can't wait to see more of this mod pack and how you navigate it. Is it possible that we could get a modpack/modlist that we can download to play this magical experience as well? I understand if you wanna wait to release it until your series is over, but this modpack looks amazing and so fun I kinda wanna play it alongside you!
Lastly, I'm assuming because you called the baby dragon a little guy that it is male, have you thought of any names? Might I suggest Cryos? I don't know the name sounds cool and reminds me of Cryo and ice. If it happens that the baby dragon is a girl, may I suggest for a name Icyra (pronounced Icy-rah). Feel free to use either name or modify them as you see fit. I can't wait for your next video!

Also, if you need an extra bit of fun, I suggest grabbing the "Dragon Survival" mod. It's pretty fun, and in addition to a few other things, it gives you the option to _be_ a dragon, not just hang out with dragon mobs. It's one of my favorites.

This is one of the best things I have seen in a long time! Something I just thought is that your little buddy needs it's own little place for when it grows older. Since they grow so increadibly large you could build them a shrine or temple like home. If they should be able to come with you on adventures remember a large exit.... Just watching this is so inspiring: magical towers (maybe even a dragon tower), rituel sites.... I can't wait to see more

You can tell that any future cave dragons you kill are female because female ice and fire dragons don't have marks on their wings, the males do. Lightning dragons all have faded lightning marks on there wings but the males have a purple edge.
I genuinely cried tears when the video was over. It has amazing storytelling and is absolutely amazing. Please try to make the next video soon, but don’t push yourself.

I am a whole 31 seconds into the first little bit here and it is the most thought out well put together video I have ever seen on a Minecraft modpack. You not only show how much fun the game can be but you also tell a story in the process. You have a wonderful talent for storytelling!

This video single-handedly inspired me to start saving for a pc. I've been able to play tiny mod packs I've done on my $700 laptop, but I wanna play in a world like this! All the shaders and additions and fun...
what's in your mod pack?
The magic mod that's special to me personally is witchery it was included in a modded server where I played with a few people and I ended up really specializing in it, doing magic using large ritual circles was a lot of fun and it gave you a lot of tools to mess around with, pretty sure there was also an enchanted withces hand you could use to teleport and I distinctly rememmber using a magic circle to cast the server into eternal darkness (basically made it night any time it got bright, I think there were some rituatls that needed to be done at night and that was why?) none of the others on the server really got deep into the mod so nobody really understood what I was doing creating a fun dynamic, I was actually the enagmatic magical being that popped up every now and then to cause trouble but could also solve your problems. Seeing this video is actually what made me look at it again and I think it's actually being continued as Enchanted: Witchcraft now, I may need to get a magical themed mod pack with it going

The first build I ever tried undertaking was a 30x100x50 oak box with a triangle roof. Despite working in Creative Mode, my patience was horrendous and it took me months to finish. This was back in 2013 when I first started playing, and I like to think I’ve improved since then
I've never watched anything of yours before, but this is incredible. I love this. It gives that sense of old minecraft modded worlds with a mix of old roleplay- its perfect. Please make more of this series!
As a DND enjoyer, seeing you incorporate a story in a simple game like Minecraft is enjoyable and amazing to watch. You managed to make me feel sympthany for a Minecraft dragon and if that doesn’t tell you how good of a storyteller you are I don’t know what will! :)
the background music you use in your videos is immaculate. Undertale, Deltarune, Stardew Valley, Baldur's Gate 3, and some Duran Duran? i find myself boogeying while i watch. also the visceral reaction i had when you nudged the baby dragon onto the carpet. SO CUTE !!!!!
I absolutely love your style of videos. Its so calming and relaxing. I love how much more focused you are on storytelling, instead of just doing things and walking us through it, plus the stardew valley music makes it 10x more relaxing and cozy
